Seriously. It was a great day. He was enjoying the gentle rays of the great pumpkinsun and it had prompted a walk outside. Even daring to venture out just a bit past the gates of the school toward the town a bit. Not really deep into town, but well... further than usual. He was still a bit concerned about getting lost or something, what with not even remembering clearly how he ended up at the school. He didn't want to end up somewhere else completely lost and bewildered. He was just starting to get the hang of all of this stuff, and he'd managed to make some friends. Even found people he apparently knew. It was a really nice place.
Which was why he never expected what was coming when he noticed a cloaked figure bobbing around in the shadows, staring confused as it darted about. Though he apparently stared too long as the figure did notice him, pausing to give him a look, which prompted a friendly smile from the boil. One that was returned with a odd beam shot at him and a rather peculiar feeling. And finding the world to be a much, much larger place.
The cloaked figure was long gone even before Akakios managed to come to terms with being pint sized(not that he wasn't before really) and adorned with an odd fuzziness to his face he wasn't used to. At least not in this form. At least the hat had holes for his ears though. He merely stood there, deer in the headlights look planted on his face as he stared ahead, then down as he tugged at the beard, then back up at the bush that was now far taller than he.
...the world looked very different at this size. And also he kind of wanted to know what just happened. Because really. He'd gained a pointy hat, a beard, and lost more than a few inches in the course of the last minute. There was reason for concern, just maybe.
That, and now he'd lost the ability to see the school over those bushes like he had before. Well hopefully he wouldn't get lost.Nerpin Look. It's boring. YAY FOR BAD STARTS.

Ashton, too, had seen the shady figure, but fortunate for him, he was not caught by the man - he was just watching the guy wander off from whatever shady work he had started, making the reaper's eyebrow c**k up. Whatever had happened, it was obvious that it wasn't for the betterment of anyone, and, turning to his little familiar on his shoulder, he decided to back track, and see what had happened.
Elvira, on the other hand, was all up in this biznizz, really curious as to what the man had done and where he had gone off too, climbing down the alchemist's arm and going to rush forward in to the bushes, before coming up on the weirdest looking creature she had ever seen.
"Ashton! Come see what I found!" She boisterously yelled out, before tilting her little deer head left and right, trying to decipher what he was. There was a tail and some ears, but there was also . . . gnomy things.
As the reaper came through the brush, his eyebrows raised a little, trying not to snort or anything at the strange sight. "Uh. Hello. Was that strange man talking to you?" He started, trying not to laugh a little. "I think you have been duped . . ."

What was he? What was he? Was there maybe a mirror or a pool or something he could check with? Because he really couldn't help scratching at the odd feeling of whiskers on his all too human-ish chin... that was tiny now. Really. He didn't have long to puzzle or muse over it though. He'd only finished inspecting that his ears and tail were intact when a voice called out, a rather familiar one actually. Both ears perked as he looked up to see... a deer that should not have been that big.
Had Elvira gone through a growth spurt since last seeing her, or... no the bushes were properly explained. Some rather expected footsteps to follow after, seeing as his name was mentioned, showed that there was another giant amongst this crowd. And one tiny cerberus with a pointy hat. Still, he was happy to see the pair, even if... they didn't seem to recognize him?
It might have been the skewed proportions, or the hat. That hat hid a lot. "Duhpahd, Ahshtahn?" At least his voice sounded fairly normal... if you ignored the bit of a high pitch squeak added to it, still he did wave, offering a smile that sort of got lost in the new beard he'd gained. One was given to the deer as well. "Ehlvahrah tooh, hayeh.: They seemed to have been well. And at least looked normal.

The voice seemed eerily familiar, making the man squint his earthen coloured eyes. Without hesitation, he picked the little one up, giving him a closer look over, which included looking closer at the tell-tale signs - the ears, the tail, and the lock that still hung on the boil's arm. Well, there was no doubt about it now.
"Akakios, is that . . . you?" He blurted out a little, nose scrunching up now to stare down the little creature. He looked very silly with a beard - it was full and cute and muffled him a little. he didn't even know if there was anything he could truly do for Aki at this time. Besides feeling pretty guilty about it all.
Elvira, on the other hoof, was completely enthralled about the change, dancing around Ashton and Aki, giggling a little before stopping and looking up to the demon. "You go dinged by that crazy man with the shadiness, didn't you, sweetheart?" She asked him, looking at him with a tilted head.

One day someone would warn Akakios about his penchant for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, but that day wasn't today, nor had it been yesterday. Maybe it was a long time ago and he didn't remember, but the case was that he still did overly trust people, and that left him merely wagging his tail in his miniaturized state as he was plucked up and thankfully recognized for who he was. "Yeh!" There was a severe bobbing of his head as he confirmed the statement, he was most definitely himself. And then there was Elvira popping in with a comment that... all things aside seemed true enough.
"Ehm... mehbeh?" He tilted his head a bit trying to recall how it exactly went down. "Pontehd aht meh an' thehn... well..." And he held up both arms to illustrate the results. What he was now. Other than that he felt fine. So he merely smiled a bit. "Buh hohw yah behn?" At least he was more concerned about that than himself? He wasn't too bad off afterall. He was, after all, always kind of short.
