Gabriel was drunk, which was something of a natural consequence of the whole "going to a party with a bunch of Nega agents and drinking a lot of beer" thing. Instead of trying to stagger home, he had decided that it would be an amazing idea to inflict his drunk self on his boyfriend. He had to stay somewhat away from the door, otherwise knocking on it was really distracting, but he knocked.
"Deees? It's meeee," he said, and he was slurring, even if he wasn't aware of it.

Des blinked up from what he was working on. A simple concept sketch for a friends school project. "...Angel? It's open hun." It was only when a few minutes had passed and Gabriel still hadn't come in that Des got up and opened the front door. "...Angel?"

Door handles were a little beyond Gabriel right them, so he waited at the door until Des opened it, at which point he stumbled very drunkenly into his boyfriend's arms and nuzzled his face into his neck. "I love you a lot," he said, and then he giggled a little. "Wanted to come see youuuuu~"

"What in the world.." Des blinked as Gabriel latched on to him. "...You're drunk. How in the world are you drunk..." He asked as he carefully walked Gabriel inside.

"Weeeelllll, I went to a party with some friends and there was beer and I drank the beer?" Gabriel's nose wrinkled for a moment as he tried to think. "There was also pizza. And werewolves! I was a werewolf. And then I died. And drank some more. It was really fun."

Des just blinked several times over. "...Werewolves? You don't look dead to me.." The purple haired boy sighed, sitting his boyfriend on the couch. "Stay put." He said as he walked into the kitchen to get some water.

"Well I'm not really a werewolf obviously," Gabriel said, waving a hand and then laying on the couch. "You're really really cute!" He called after Des. Apparently alcohol removed his filter almost completely.

"I don't know. Your hair's kinda shaggy... You sure you are not a werewolf?" Desmond asked as he came back with a glass of water. "Drink." He said, choosing to ignore the comment on how cute he was.

"Pretty sure," Gabriel said. He almost said something about turning into something else at night, but there was enough of his brain engaged to say that it was a terrible idea. "Okaaay but only because you asked me to," he said, sitting up and taking a drink of the water.

"But beer and pizza is amazing why haven't I done this before." Gabriel said, and then she shifted to curl up against Des, still working on the glass of water. "Friends, I told you that, right? It was a party for uh. A thing."

"You're going to get sick hun. " He said as he ran his hand through Gabriel's hair. "Do you have work tomorrow?? It might be a good idea to call out... Just in case?" Another friend. "Yes, I know you said friends... Were they friends from work? Does your boss know you were drinking?"

"I don't feel sick," Gabriel protested, and then he blinked slowly, clearly confused. "Why would I call out? I feel fiiinnneee." He turned a little to nuzzle his face against Des, and mostly ended up just rubbing against his shoulder. "No nope not work." Well, it was work, in a way, but not the kind Des meant, so...

Des sighed again, though this time it sounded slightly more irritated. "Alright, fine. You're not sick. Have you ever been this drunk before?" Desmond questioned, propping his cheek on his fist. He raised a brow when Gabriel rubbed against his arm. 'I would have felt better if it was." The purple haired boy replied flatly. "Atleast then I would have known your boss was in on it.."

"I've never been drunk at all before!" Gabriel said cheerily, taking a very long sip of water. It was a miracle of some kind that he neither spilled it nor choked on it. "Oh. Whoops. Well, I was with people who weren't gonna let me get sick or anything," and he hadn't even been the drunkest one there! Richard had been way drunker. (That was some talent.)
