Family Information Nalani - Mother
Nalani is a sweet, even tempered sort of soul, very good hearted and wishes to see the best in everyone, it takes her along time to take against anyone and even then she still hopes that she might be mistaken about them.
She is also very proper, well mannered but innocent, and very sheltered. She had a guarded manner when it came to her heart, as she did have a first attraction/crush that turned into nothing as she never saw him again.
However that all changed when she met Izefiah; a wonderfully sweet gentleman who she met and became enamoured with. Despite some best efforts and dramatics (including an almost successful effort by Izefiah's father to seperate the young couple), she eventually ended up with Izefiah and they have recently had three children (baskets).
She is very close to her family; adores her siblings, and is especially close to her younger sister Elisheva, as she admires her outgoing nature and liveliness of spirit.
Nalani is both excited and nervous at the prospect of seeing her first foals emerge from their baskets, and hopes that she will be as good a mother as her own is, and hopes that she won't make too many mistakes along the way. Izefiah - Father
Izefiah has spent his whole life believing that he wasn't good enough. Seemingly born without wings, he was the bane of his father's existence. Believing that his father hated him, he would do anything Auster asked, eager to please and desperate for his approval. It caused him to be meek and uncertain, always worried that he was doing the wrong thing. He is a kind hearted horse, polite and considerate of others, regardless of their "status". He does not have the same beliefs as his father to Auster's dismay.
He is now happily in a relationship with Nalani, and is as excited and nervous as she about becoming parents already! Elisheva - Aunt
Elisheva is intelligent, lively, witty and she knows her own physical worth, though won't be the first to speak of it She has a close and loving relationship with her family, adores her sisters, and looks out for them all as much as she can, even though she is one of three youngest of Nivriti and Althalus's brood.
She does tend to judge those she meets on first impressions, and meetings, so it takes alot to sway her once she has formed an opinion of you. She will take what she is told as the truth without question if she believes it to confirm that which she already knows. (she is based largely on Elizabeth from Pride & Prejudice).
She was instrumental in bringing Izefiah & Nalani back together after Auster tried to seperate them, and is very happy that she was successful in that and that she is now an Auntie! She will be very present in her nieces/nephews lives Further Family members:
Nivriti & Althalus (Nalani's Mother & Father) Auster (Izefiah's Father) & Mahdi (Auster's mate) Jelena (Izefiah's Mother) Rp Links - further background information Nalani & Izefiah meeting & getting to know each other Izefiah meets Nalani's mother and further feelings develop between Nalani & Izzy Nalani meets Auster and he deceives her Auster talks to Mahdi about what he has done to Izefiah Elisheva learns of Nalani's broken heart Elisheva goes to find Izefiah & finds out the real cause of her sisters heartbreak Broken hearts are mended <3

Prompt/s & Entry Form (( Please note that these prompts make assumptions based on the fact that the breeding was one of the recent Halloween Twists ones - neither Kait nor myself know what the foals will look like - there is a possibility of weird & strange traits but no guarantee ))
Please pick one of these prompts to answer in your entry. You may use/roleplay Nalani & her sister Elisheva within reason (please don't have them do anything that would be wildly out of character - if in doubt please ask) edit: Update - Izefiah can be used & referenced when replying to a prompt, but obviously, please use discretion when doing so
Prompt 1:
You've been out of your basket for a while now and have just started to really notice and question things. The one big thing that you have realised is that compared to your father and your siblings, your mother is very..normal - and so is the rest of her relations! Is this something that bothers you, or do you think it's a good thing to be different?
Prompt 2:
You've recently discovered (through your Aunt Elisheva) that your mother and your father went through a lot to be together. In fact at one point, if your grandfather Auster had his way, they wouldn't have been a couple at all. What do you think about having a family member that acted in that way? Do you talk to your mother or Elisheva about how you feel, or do you just accept that you have Grandfather that you might not get along with?
Prompt 3:
You've slipped away from your mother's side and are all on your own in the big wide world. What do you do? Describe what sort of adventurous mischief the foal might get up to during the first time exploring on their own. Hey look at me, I'm an entry!
Name: Basket Name: (if you have male & female names in mind, please put both) Temper: Personality:
Prompt Choice: (put prompt number you are responding to) Prompt Entry:
Plot Ideas: ( any future ideas/plots you have in mind - this is mostly out of my curiosity so they don't have to be extensive ^_~ )

Hey look at me, I'm an entry!
Name: [+Katch+] Basket Name: Kamala (girl - lotus dweller) , Hari (boy - one who takes away * pain, problems, etc) Temper: Nurturing Personality: (As a girl) Kamala is a sweet and upbeat girl who was born into a warm and loving family, she never spent so much as a thought on the fact that she, her siblings or her father looked any different. It's what's inside that really counts, and she surely lives by that. She has a strong pull towards nature, finding various flowers and herbs that are used for relaxation and healing, which she shares eagerly with anyone who needs help. Kamala loves and respects all of her family members, but really enjoys hanging out with her aunt, who is surely the liveliest creature around! Ever curious about what lies beyond the comforts of home, she always wants to hear a story from her or ask where she's been traveling. Kamala is a very empathetic soul, and really dislikes being stressed out over anything, she can get really worked up and worried really quickly. It urges her to become even more astute at finding ways to find ones inner peace. She would never outright dislike someone else, but can feel "vibes" from others she's around, she's a little tuning fork of feels. That being said, she finds it very unpleasant to hear about her "grandpa Auster" that guy gives off bad vibes even from far away!
Prompt Choice: Prompt 2 Prompt Entry: (playing as Kamala)
" Auntie Elisheva!" She had spotted her winged auntie from all the way atop the hill where she'd been gathering lavender, and dropping the whole bundle raced up to meet her with a clatter of little hooves and a bright smile. Her aunt grinned down at her and lipped her mane, which was standing straight up in odd patches and chock full of leaves and twigs. " Heya kiddo, looks like you've been trying to be one with the trees again." She laughed merrily at her aunts jest " nooooooo, I'm looking for things that smell nice! i just…have to go through bushes and things to get at them!" She shook her little head, a rain of tiny purple flowers and sticks coming out of her blue locks, making her chuckle " I guess there was a lot of stuff in there!" She beamed up at her aunt, so odd and so similar to her at the same time " Are you looking for momma?" She blinked owlishly, her amber eyes glinting behind her mop of dark hair. " Oh no, I was out looking for you Kamala, your parents and siblings are MUCH easier to find! As it is, i'm glad I didn't have to rattle every bush in the area to look for you! Hehe" Kamala pouted comically but proceeded to bounce around her aunts legs, her expression eager. " Does that mean you came to tell me a story!?" "That's exactly what I came to tell you, i've brought you a story about hardships, true love and one grumpy old featherduster, it's actually about your parents, you want to hear it?" Kamala fairly gaped at her " DO I!"
And so they settled down, and the story was told, a great yarn of two souls who loved one another, but were constantly bullied and berated by one older stallion, torn apart time and again until at last, through great perseverance, love won out.
" And that's how you and your siblings came to be!" She chuckled down at Kamala, who was now wearing a rather odd expression, one not usually seen on the expressive little filly. She was worried. Elisheva knew full well that Kamala was prone to spells of anxiety if something was worrying her or her family, and she couldn't disagree that Auster was one big worrisome pain. She was about to try and soothe her however she could when Kamala spoke up, her little forehead wrinkled " I was excited to hear about more of my family but, Grandpa Auster is...not a very nice stallion…that's sad. Everything worked out in the end, but that's still so sad." Elisheva tucked her under a wing and smiled knowingly " Yeah, I know, I was there. Sometimes there are just folks who want to hurt others, and that is quite depressing, but there are also souls like you who want to heal and mend things. You're the light to the darkness Kamala~ So never you mind that old goat Auster. He's such a grouch he'd probably be so appalled by all these flowers that he'd fly off in a big ol stink!"
Kamala smiled a little and then gradually began to laugh, imagining her as a hero for fending her grouchy grandpa off with nice smelling flowers.
" Well maybe if he just relaxed things wouldn't have turned out this way, maybe there's a way to help him with that ,but for now, i'm glad of the family I do have" She perked up under her Aunts wing and wiggled her nose " Do you want to come gather lavender with me auntie?" Elisheva grinned down at her niece, the storm had passed and her little face was as bright and curious as ever " Of course sweetie, i'd love to."
Plot Ideas:
Kamala does not bother with how others look on the outside, it's what's on the inside that counts, right? I'm sure this will be tested many times by those who look nice but really aren't, and vice versa.
Not everything is friendly or out to find peace as she is, the darker things are always out looking and perhaps one would find her, or she, it.
She is mostly self taught when it comes to flowers, herbs and medicines but it would be nice to find a teacher to help her improve.

Hey look at me, I'm an entry!
Name: Sarei Stargazer Basket Name: Ezenlavi (mix of parents & aunty's names? =o) Temper: Curious Personality: Calm and polite/well-behaved, with never dying curiosity about the world and the others around them. Like Aunty, is picky of who they choose to be around, and is sometimes quick to pass judgement, but not to quite the same extent. Constant curiosity leads to a sort of downfall, as Ezenlavi is always questioning things, and sometimes perhaps over-thinking things, which leads to a slight lack of confidence, and has made Ezenlavi a little bit emotionally over-reactive to certain things. Often shuts down when confronted by thoughts/words/others that are upsetting or confusing.
Prompt Choice: Prompt 2 Prompt Entry:
Ezenlavi had spent most of the day so far with Aunty Elisheva, and it had been fun, but she had also been filling the young equine's head with stories of the family. It had crossed the young one's mind a few times that perhaps this was a bit much of information to share with one so young, but was grateful at the same time for having been honoured to know such details. The one story that stuck out most in particular to the young Soquili was that of it's parents undying love and dedication to each other. Most would never guess or care too much what their parents had been through to be together, in fact, come to think of it: Ezenlavi had never heard a story about a relationship that hadn't been perfect and ended happily ever after. When they had parted ways, Ezenlavi headed back to Nalani and Izefiah, but was spending extra time dawdling today, as there was much to think and wonder about, and to consider as well.
It was wonderful and inspiring to hear that your parents had worked so hard in order to have a good relationship, and to be able to have a family together as they wanted, and that gave Ezenlavi very good feelings. It caused wonder about the young equine's own relationships, not only now, but also in the future, and the young one noted that the relationship between mother and father was a good example of loving and healthy relationships. However, as a contemplative young creature, Ezenlavi was lost in thought on both ends of the spectrum. While it amazed the young Soquili the story of the dedication and love between mother and father, there was also the whole part of how Grandfather Auster had tried to tear them apart. This gave the young one much confusion, and caused wonder about relationships in a different way.
Though it was lovely to think about and imagine all the possibilities in the future, something about the whole situation made the poor young thing's stomach feel sick with knots. Ezenlavi couldn't help but wonder why it was that Auster would have wanted them not to be together in the first place. And did that mean that Ezenlavi and the other children would be looked down upon in the same way as their mother and father? Would they be treated differently, more kindly and graciously? And if they were, would it be out of obligation, or would Grandfather really care for them? The young equine came to a pause on the path and stood for a moment, staring off into the trees, considering all of these questions that came rushing to mind.
Of course, any young creature is going to, at some point, question their role and their importance in not only their family, but in the bigger picture as well, and being born into a half-torn family threw this little thinker for a loop. A single tear rolled slowly down the soft, innocent cheek of the child as the branches and leaves swayed all about. The breeze seemed to almost pick up on the inner turmoil Ezenlavi was feeling...
Ezenlavi tended to be more like father, in that there was a lot of pressure felt, even at such a young age, to please others and to not be in the wrong. Perhaps that was a side effect of the relationship between Izefish, Nalani and Auster. After a few minutes of standing with a few tears streaming down, the young horse shook it's head and continued on, attempting to dismiss the thoughts and confusion for now. Maybe it was too much worry for such a young creature to be thinking about all of these things...perhaps that was Aunty's intention, perhaps it was just her being the way she was. Either way, Ezenlavi had decided that for now, it was too worrying, and the young Soquili didn't want to feel sad now. After another quick moment standing still in the path, the young one shook again and headed off again back to the loving and kind parents. Perhaps it would be good to talk to them about it...maybe not today, but it was certainly a conversation that Ezenlavi wanted to have at some point.
With a small, determined nod, the young equine put a smile on and trotted on home, instead now wondering what the family must be busy doing, much happier thoughts filled the young one's head, and as this happened, the breeze seemed to calm again, and everything felt back to normal for now.
Plot Ideas: Just want Ezenlavi to be really close w/ the family, but it would be interesting to have a kind of different relationship with grandfather? Perhaps he treats Ezenlavi different than the others, either that or the child decides they want nothing to do with him, after learning about how he treated their parents? Def. would love to RP (I've never done any family RP, really, so it would be really exciting for me, especially since it seems like the immediate family will be very close and loving!). Uhhmmmm, yeah nothing too extensive, just would hope to flesh out a good, dynamic relationship with Grandpa (be it a crappy one or a good one).

Hey look at me, I'm an entry!
Name: Kyrieko Basket Name: Saiyuri (Female), Vayun (Male) Temper: Exuberant Personality: A little bubbling ray of sunshine, this Soquili is always in the best of moods and will almost always (except on very rare occasions) be seen with a smile. A sweet hearted creature to their core and greatly looks up to Nalani and Izefiah and auntie Elisheva. To them, Nalani is the best and most wonderful mare one could ever hope to meet! And Izefiah is special and unique and how awesome would it be to be just like him too?! Though it is a little difficult to comprehend some things - like someone not wanting two Soquili to be together, or treating that Soquili different because of how they look - this sunny youngster will do their best to understand. Or just come up with some crazy notion that makes sense to them and no one else. Definitely not the brightest fish in the sea. That particular trait seemed to have possibly graced siblings more than this one!
This little Soquili is also quite affectionate and will nuzzle up against siblings and family often. Even Soquili that they've only met once or twice may find themselves on the receiving end of this affection. It's a comfort, having someone nearby that you can lean against or brush your nose along. The prospect of 'personal space' eludes this Soquili! Still a bit childish and naive, and it's questionable if they'll ever fully 'mature' or if they will always be a foal at heart. Though another theory is that this youngster finds themselves in some sort of 'fantasy world', and this is why they seem to be so chipper all the time as well as never seeming to 'grow up'. Sort of similar to a Peter Pan syndrome.
This little one, with all their extra energy and bubbly nature, will do their best to please. Attention is a treat well earned, but to see a smile as big as theirs reflected on another is a treasure. Unlike Nalani and Izefiah, manners are a little overrated for this Soquili. Mostly due to so much energy bundled up in one horse. But for all their naivety and childish ways, this Soquili will be that little drop of sunshine that springs up to brighten your day.
Prompt Choice: Prompt 2 Prompt Entry: (Will be using 'Saiyuri' for this!) The little foal was thinking. Thinking really hard. Trying to make all those gears in her mind function properly and make sense of what Auntie had said. It was like a big secret, in her mind, that she'd discovered and the foal was having a difficult time understanding it all. Because the idea of someone not wanting Mama and Papa together was just... ludicrous!
She also had a grandpa she'd never met.
That was kind of exciting!
Except, Auntie had said it was his fault? How could it be his fault?! He was Grandpa! Family.
Saiyuri leaned more firmly against her Aunt Elisheva, who she'd been clinging to ever since the mare had indulged her with that 'secret'.
It just didn't make any sense!
"Auntieeeeee." She whined, looking up with huge eyes at Elisheva. "It can't be true! Family s'not supposed ta be mean to one anothers!"
"Mean to each other." The mare lightly corrected the young foal.
Saiyuri blew out a breath through her nostrils, pawing at the ground. She looked so much like a wounded puppy while attempting to process everything. "But... I don't understand." Her head drooped, ears falling back as the foal pouted. Only to squawk and stumble, splaying her legs out wide as she was gently 'knocked' but her Aunt's nose.
"It is true. I wish I could tell you otherwise, dear." The mare sighed a little, nuzzling the foal. "You'll understand it one day, though. I can promise you that. I just want you to understand that your Grandfather Auster is not-"
"Do I get to meet Grandpa?!" Saiyuri suddenly asked, interrupting her Aunt. "I want to meet him! 'cause he's family and I has a Grandpa. And... and if he's a meanie face, I'll ask him to stop being mean!" This was obviously a brilliant idea in her mind and she couldn't believe no one else had thought of this! She danced in place with her new 'idea', gloomy appearance disappearing as sunshine replaced it.
"Saiyuri... "
It wasn't even worth attempting to change her mind, because she just wouldn't understand anything Elisheva said. There was just lots of sighing on the mare's part, and much rambling on the foals. With a little more cuddling thrown in there because that helped to brighten Saiyuri's mood even more.
Plot Ideas: *may have a weakness for plotting* (Note: this was also a concept idea used in another contest that did not win, but I really adored, and thus there is a little more thought put into the plot ideas x3; ) As a foal ~
• We're family! - A constant plot idea to have grow as they grows, where they interact with family and form a strong bond with them. Especially with siblings! This can also branch out to loved ones and friends that aren't directly related but sort of become adopted by this Soquili.
• Lemme turn that frown upside down! - Always bubbling with positive energy, this Soquili would try their hardest to make a sad individual smile again. They don't like to see anyone upset and will be that snuggle bear you might need to cheer up. Or the goofy friend who just makes you laugh. Perhaps a way for them to meet someone new and form a friendship! This is a very open idea and can have more than one Soquili fulfill it!
As an adult ~
• Grow up - As sweet and energetic as this one is, not everyone will appreciate it. This idea involves having an encounter with someone who does not put up with such a childish nature and informs them they need to 'grow up'. This would be something that happens once this Soquili reached adult hood and it becomes apparent they're still young at heart. A Soquili they've never met or perhaps someone they don't see very often would be ideal for this, like Auster!
• Personal space - What is this 'space' you speak of? This Soq does not comprehend these words! Is there such a thing?! This is a fun little plot where the tendency for being overly affectionate can lead to some hilariously awkward situation with some poor soul that is not the touchy feely type!
• I raise your Dark with my Bright! - Being such the bright creature this one is, this little plot would be of a slowly budding romantic sort. Where they meet a Soq that is... not so 'bright' (ie: grumpy personality, stoic, something that is their opposite) and slowly can chip away at the 'darkness'. Weasel a way into their heart. Make them grow fond of having this Soq around. This would only be the beginning, so to speak, of some plots that could snowball off this! Kalona and Kalona crossbreeds are welcome. The only Soquili not accepted for this would be Skinwalkers!
• Be who you wanna be - This could go one of two ways... or both could happen! Eventually this Soq will, inevitably, fall into a bit of depression when they start to wonder if they really are too childish and no one (besides family) will ever like or understand them. They'll need someone - a close friend or family member preferred (like Izefiah!) - to come along and tell them that, hey! No one is perfect and you just needs to be who you want to be! To not change! The other side to this could be the reverse. Where they are the one that finds a friend/loved one feeling down about themselves, and gives them the above advice. To be who they are! And not change anything about themselves!

Hey look at me, I'm an entry!
Name: Cheyriddle4 Basket Name: Aulden(boy), Aelen (girl) Temper: Open-minded Personality: Aelen is a curious sort.Always looking for new things to learn about. Never one to balk at asking questions she can have a little habit of irritating others when she asks question after question. Able to accept just about anyone she doesn't judge another's actions. She is optimistic and outgoing. Yet her feelings can be easily hurt if something pricks her feelings the wrong way. Forgiveness is sometimes hard for her. Sometimes she just twist things over and over in her head which means she can't get over something easily.
Prompt Choice: Prompt Three Prompt Entry: Aelen brushes up against her mothers side as they walk along the tree line of a forest. Walking in content silence she takes comfort in her mother's presence. Her eyes start to wander and soon her footsteps slow down until soon her mother is walking ahead many paces. Stopping as her eyes take sight of a new creature Aelen's eyes light up. What is this? Does this creature have a name? Curiosity peaked she steps closer and it starts to scurry away.
"Wait! Come back!"
Trotting after the prickly creature she goes further and further away from her mother's side. Not even the slightest thought of mentioning something to her mother crosses her eyes as she follows the creature. The tree's become more dense around her as she makes her way over fallen logs and through thickets. Branches scratch against her skin as she tries to keep sight of the creature.. Yet soon it slips away and she stops. Spinning around she searches frantically for the creature. She has no idea where she is. Worry and excitement goes through her as thoughts of exploring and finding things she doesn't know. Yet should she go back? Probably but she quickly dismisses that idea. She wants to find that creature!
Turning back to the direction in which she saw the creature moving she pushes on at a walk. Her eyes scanning the area. Catching glimpses of more creatures every so often she sometimes stops to inspect them from a distance. She spots foxes with coats of red, rabbits and opossums yet she doesn't catch sight of that prickly looking creature. Where can it be? Surely it didn't go far? Jumping over another log she catches sight of the creature.
"Aha! There you are!"
Moving forward at a brisk trot she catches up to the creature. This creature has this prickly needle like things which reminds her of those... pine tree needles. Yet this creatures needles are a greyish brown. Are they hard or soft? Maybe the creature will let her touch it? She steps in front of the creature and tilts her head. Kinda cute creature.
"What are you?"
The creature doesn't respond yet she didn't expect it to. Lowering her head she goes to touch the needles when some shoot up and embed themselves into her muzzle. She lets out a high pitched scream as sharp pain goes through her muzzle and then she is running towards the direction where she came. Making a beeline to go find her mother. Tears well up at her eyes as she doesn't care that branches are scratching at her. She needs to get these out. They hurt! She knows now not to go touch such a creature. Tears start falling as she makes her way out of the forest. Whinnying and looking around she heads off to find her mother.
"Mother! Mother! Dad! Auntie! Mommy!"
Tears fill her vision so much so that she doesn't see her mother who turned around after hearing Aelen's cries. Aelen runs smack dab into her mothers side and lets out a cry of pain. "Ow!" She steps back and is shaking like a leaf as she cries to her mother.
"Mommy! There was this creature with needles and it hurt me! These hurt mommy." Sniffling as she is told what the creature is and that she shouldn't mess with it she nods. Oh she learned that lesson alright. Soon her mother starts to pull out the quills and with each one Aelen flinches. These things hurt!
"Aelen. No wandering off. You are to stick by my side."
With that her mother turns and goes back to going towards their destination with Aelen trotting alongside to keep up. Aelen's head hangs low as she feels humiliated as she can hear some laughter and snickers coming from some of her family as they talk of the sight of her with those quills.
Plot Ideas: A lesson on Forgiveness- A lesson where either mother or father teachers Aelen or Aulden that forgiving someone is better than holding a grudge.
To many questions!- Aelen or Aulden starts to get curious about what their parents were like as they were younger and so who better to ask then auntie. With a constant onslaught of questions Aelen or Aulden starts to get on their aunt's nerves.
Someone's in a foul mood- Coming across a Soq of a more serious, hot tempered nature, Aelen or Aulden doesn't know what to do. So doing what she or he can tries to befriend and cheer up the other soq.
Meeting lifemate or fling- Aelen or Aulden comes across a mare or stallion who catches their interest.
Along with any other interesting plots that comes across.

Hey look at me, I'm an entry!
Name: spelldancer Basket Name: Panjaka (male), Rayen (female) Temper: Quirky Personality: Rayen sees the wonder in the world, ever fascinated and amazed. Her/his curiosity is unending but she/he is easily distracted. She/he may be busy with one thing, but if a flutter or songbird goes by, her/his attention will be caught. She doesn't mean to be impolite by suddenly ignoring another Soquili it is just that there is so much to see in the world. Really, she is very kind and sweet, always wanting the best for everyone.
Along with there being so much to see, there is so much to do and explore. Rayen is anxious to be able to go out and find new things and then come back and tell Mom and Dad about them.
As her confidence grows so will her/his mischievous side. She/he will not do anything intentionally cruel, though it is possible to misjudge, but instead do little things to be funny.
Prompt Choice: 3 Prompt Entry: The shadows were starting to slant across the ground at a steep angle, and the sun was dipping behind the hills when Rayen noticed a butterfly. It was a beautiful thing and deserved more appreciation. Mom was distracted, so he wandered away from her side, following the butterfly. Over the hill she went and out of Mom's sight, though Rayen didn't realize that. The light made interesting patterns on the wings, and the fluttering of the butterfly up and down caused her head to bob up and down.
As she wandered, Rayen was surprised to discover that her hooves were wet. She looked down, and realized that she had followed the butterfly right into a creek. Delighted, she began to splash about, watching as her movement caused little droplets to fly about. As her flanks got wet, she saw fish swim away from her hooves and the flashes of scales were amazing.
As her head came up, she realized that she was alone. Looking around she noticed that on the other side of the creek was a field of flowers waving in the wind. She could bring flowers to her Mom! With glee she galloped into the field and began pulling up flowers. But it was beginning to get dark, and soon, as Rayen was still picking flowers, the sun set. In terror she reared up, dropping the flowers and crying out. “Moooommmm! Daaaadd! Please come!” In panic she whirled around, realizing that she didn't even know the way home.
Despairing, she drooped, lowering her head and picking up her flowers. Without knowing how to get home, the only thing that she could do was wait. As she waited the stars began to twinkle one by one and Rayen picked out the ones that she knew. That was when she realized that they were in a familiar pattern. On a hunch, she began to go in a particular direction with ears pricked, listening for the sound of her family. As she had nearly reached the top of the hill, she heard her Mom calling for her. She was very proud of herself for finding her own way home, and she pranced over the top of the hill all the way up to Mom. After dropping the flowers at her Mom's feet she proudly stated, “Mommmy, I found these for you!”
Plot Ideas: -talking to Mom/Aunt/Dad about being different -playing tricks and messing up thus getting in trouble -arguing with Grandfather about values

Hey look at me, I'm an entry!
Name: Akuma_Kessaku
Basket Name: Belal(M) / Bindi(F) (Will Be using the male name for this entry.)
Temper: Equivocal
Personality: Belal is a calm, suave sort of stallion who was raised to always be respectful to those he meets. He is of course polite, charming, and considerate, but reserved when it comes to talking about himself or his feelings and emotions. He is quite guarded when it comes to matters of the heart, and tends to become easily misguided or deceived. Belal is especially susceptible to double interpretations when it comes to heavy weighted conversations.
Prompt Choice: Prompt 2 - You've recently discovered (through your Aunt Elisheva) that your mother and your father went through a lot to be together. In fact at one point, if your grandfather Auster had his way, they wouldn't have been a couple at all. What do you think about having a family member that acted in that way? Do you talk to your mother or Elisheva about how you feel, or do you just accept that you have Grandfather that you might not get along with?
Prompt Entry:
The sun was setting beyond the hills in the west as Elisheva rounded up the three younglings to give her sister, Nalani, some time to be with her mate Izefiah.
“Time for bed little ones…” She crooned while gathered them by the fire with her wings.
“We want a story!” one cried, “If we must go to sleep we should at least have a bedtime story!”
“What kind of story?” She asked.
“A love story” the other swooned, “Oooh, One about Mom and Dad!”
Elisheva chuckled, “Well, I don’t know about that…But I will tell you a love story.”
Belal watched as his sibling huddled in close and anxiously waited for their auntie to speak.
“Alright,” She began, “A long time ago, far far away in the Kawani lands. There was a princess mare with beautiful ebony locks, eyes like pale sapphires, and a silky coat of maroon and ivory. She was lovestruck. The other day she had met the most handsome stallion. He was a true gentlemen; polite, charming, and his dashing good looks certainly stole her heart. ”
“What did he look like?” Yawned one
“Well, He wore a mask.”
“Papa has a mask…” The other chimed.
“It wasn’t like that…” Elisheva coughed as she let her mind get adventurous, “I-It was… Purple, And had a big nose that hid his face.”
Belal snorted, “Why is that?”
“Well, He had confidence issues. When he wore the mask he pretended he wasn’t himself, which gave him confidence?” She questioned, As she attempted to steer the story back on course, “He has a black coat with icy blue hair and a giant purple mask that hid his face, alright? Well… He too found the mare very beautiful and fell for her as hard as she fell for him. He asked to see the mare again, giving her instructions to meet him by the giant tree next to the lake.
“It was the evening the princess was to meet her charming masked stallion. As she waited patiently beside the giant tree, a lumbering Angeni approached her, “Your Stallion isn’t coming. He has promised himself to another; a mare who better suits him.” "
“Tears flooded the Mares eyes as she fled, the angeni’s words clawing at her mind and her heart. She was so in love with the masked stallion, but could not believe what she was told. Devastated and heartbroken, her hooves finally gave way and she collapsed in a heap sobbing out all the pain in her heart.”
“Luckily, her fairy god-mare was watching over her that night. The god-mare found the Angeni and the Masked Stallion. She learned that the Angeni spoke lies to the princess and told him that he was mistaken, that the masked stallion and princess were meant to be together. ”
“Hearing the god-mare’s words gave the Masked stallion the courage to stand up to the Angeni. He left with the god-mare to reclaim his princess and salvage his love.” Elisheva looked around to see three sleeping foals around her and whispered, “And your mother and father lived happily ever after…” Nuzzling each head, she caught the glistening of Belal’s pale sapphire eyes staring into the dancing flames, “Oh, Belal… You’re not sleeping?”
He lifted his head and looked at his auntie, “Is that what really happened?” Looking back to the flames he lowered his head to the earth, “Is that why we haven’t met dad’s family? Is it because they don’t like us?”
Elisheva furrowed her brow as she slowly slipped her way out of the pile of sleeping foals, “Come walk with me Belal…” she whispered.
Belal slipped from under his siblings’ wing and followed his auntie away from the fire. He was wingless like his mother, and never felt any less of a Soquili because of it, but could his family really be divided over that? Coming up beside his aunt he nuzzled under her wing for shelter from the brisk evening wind.
“Belal, your daddy’s family doesn’t live around here, and I am sure they will come visit when they can.” She reassured him.
“But does grandpa not like mom because she has no wings?” there was a sinking feeling as the words so freely rolled off his tongue. He had never been so open with his auntie, but he starved for an answer, “Does he not like Soquili with no wings?”
“Sweetie, sometimes people say things- Do things they regret. That they wish they could take back.” Elisheva thought about her words as Belal’s inquisitive eyes stared at her, “Your grandfather had every opportunity to stop your father that day; to prevent him from being with your mother, and he didn’t.” Lowering her head to ruffle Belal’s icy blue hair, “Your grandfather wants your daddy to be happy, and I am sure he wants to meet you and your siblings, but he needs to do it at his own pace.”
Belal’s eyes shifted to the earth beneath his hooves as he mulled over his aunt’s words. Nodding slowly he met her eyes again, “Alright auntie…I hope we meet them soon.”
“Me too, sweetheart,” She murmured, “And just remember, no matter what you will always have family who loves you.” Lifting her wings she nudged Belal, “Now you should be getting to bed, little one.”
Belal returned to his siblings with his auntie’s words still swimming through his head. He still felt wary of his grandfather, uncertain as to whether he will develop a good relationship with him, but he can only do what his mother taught him; treat all with respect.
Plot Ideas: I'm game for anything but after writing this reply the only thing that comes to mind is meeting his grandfather, Auster.

Hey look at me, I'm an entry! I can change this up a bit too if you feel I might have played the mother wrong. Just PM me and i'll fix it! Name: AstoriaFallen Basket Name: (I read that Nalani was thinking she could name the child after her sister so these are what I came up with) Nivlishna F (It’s a combo of Bother Biological Grandmothers and Elisheva) / Elthavus M (Combo of Elisheva and Althalus) Temper: Passive Aggressive Personality: (If it’s a girl then the personality is going to be a bit softer and if it’s a boy it’ll be a little more rough, but other than that this should just about cover how the foal will turn out)
Strengths: Calm, Passionate, Trustworthy and Committed Weaknesses: Naïve, Stubborn, Outspoken and Brutally Honest
Foal: She can be a bit naïve and even kind of timid but she’s very exuberant and aloof when she’s alone. The timidness around others goes away when it comes to her family and things worth caring about and you get to see a different side of her. She starts out fairly skittish and can become easily disheartened if she feels as though she has failed in some way. Nivlishna wants to be everything that she was expected to be and feels if she is anything less than exceptional then there is huge room from improvement. That is mainly due to how she feels about what her Aunt told her about her Grandfather and what he did to her mother. She doesn’t want to feel like she’s not good enough. Overall Nivlishna is very friendly once you get past the timidness and she’s always trying to help out, which leads to her getting in the way sometimes.
Adolescent: (Couldn’t find a section that talked about the different ages so I’m going to guess there is a bit of an adolescent stage, if not then I can edit this) Nivlishna finally grows out of her passive/timid stage and into a more confident/dominant role. She isn’t too aggressive but doesn’t let anyone push her around. She still has some growing up to do before having a well-rounded personality. During Nivlishnas adolescence you get to see a bit more of the aggressive side she has. She isn’t aggressive in a violent sort of way, just in a way in which she knows what she wants and will do what she can to get it done. During this point of her development she is brutally honest but in a caring and helpful way. There are times when she speaks before she thinks and that will get her into a tight bind every now and again but she works through it. Most of the time it’s harmless but sometimes people take it the wrong way until they get to know her. One big thing about her during this stage is the fact that if she thinks she’s right she won’t back down until you can prove she’s wrong. She rarely second guesses herself and once she’s made up her mind on something or someone it usually sticks. She strongly believes in first impressions, so if you come off the wrong way you might as well kiss any chance at being her friend (or more) goodbye.
Adult: After some growing up, Nivlishna finally grows into a calm and collective persona. She calms down from being aggressive a bit but is straight forward and doesn’t like to beat around the bush. She still has her outspoken personality but has learned to tone it down a notch so as to not offend anyone. She is committed to the friendships and relationships she has formed and is willing to lay her life on the line for them. Overall she’s gentle and compassionate and only gets aggressive if pushed to show that side of her.
Prompt Choice: Prompt 2 Prompt Entry: (The parts with the Mother I’m going to try and make brief, I’ve read a lot of the RPs in the link and have a general Idea of her personality and what she Might say, however I’m not entirely sure how forgiving she actually is in a whole. I didn’t see anything about her forgiving Auster.)
’Why would grandpa not want mom and dad to be together. Did he really think mom wasn’t good enough for dad? What if he thinks I’m not good enough to be his granddaughter?’ She thought gloomily to herself as she walked around not too far from the teepee. Ever since her aunt broke the news to her about what her Grandfather had done to her parents it made her wonder if he still felt that way inside, even a tiny bit. She hadn’t had the chance to meet him yet and she wanted to get to know her Grandparents but she wasn’t sure if he was going to like her, or her him.
She wasn’t exactly sure if she wanted to talk to someone about what she was feeling though. Wasn’t it silly of her to feel this way? She paused and scraped her hoof on the ground and wondered if her Aunt was still nearby. Maybe she’d talk to her about it. From what she understood it was all because of her that her mom and dad were able to remain together. Maybe she’d know what she was feeling and would have an answer. Besides, she didn’t quite feel brave enough to tell her mom how she felt. She would have to ask her mom about it later though. After all she hadn’t even had the chance to talk to her mom about it yet. With that realization she decided she would talk to her mom instead of her aunt. She wanted to know her mother’s version and figured what easier way than to get it straight from the horse’s mouth, so to speak.
She headed back to the teepee and peeked her head inside to see if her mother was there, sure enough she was. ”Mom… Auntie Eli told me what Grandpa did to you and Dad and… well… I’m not sure how I feel about it, or even him.. She said timidly as she walked inside and looked up at her Mother. ”It’s alright if you’re feeling conflicted, it’s not something one can figure out right away.” Her mother nuzzled her neck lightly and the foal let out a little sigh.
She wasn’t sure how to put it all into words so she said all of what she was feeling at once. ”I don’t understand why Grandpa would be so mean to do something like that. Why didn’t he think you were good enough? Will he think I’m good enough to be his Granddaughter? What if Auntie Eli hadn’t talked to him? Why is he such a meanie? I don’t know if I want to meet him.” She took in a breath because she had said it all in one breath and looked anxiously in her mothers’ eyes. She really wanted to get to know her Grandparents on both sides but she still wasn’t sure about Grandpa Auster. Her mother smiled at her and nuzzled her nose gently. ”What he did was wrong, even if he did what he thought was best, but everyone can make a mistake. It’s if they keep making those same mistakes that make deeds unforgivable.” Her mother’s words brought her some form of comfort and she looked at the ground and then leaned against her mother’s front legs and sighed. Maybe she should give Grandpa a chance. But she was still afraid that he might not accept her, old habits die hard sometimes. ”What if he disapproves of me?” She glanced upwards with a sorrowful look on her face and her mother hugged her body against her with her neck and the feeling calmed her. ”Do not fret, your Father, Auntie and I love you no matter what. I’m sure you will be loved just as much by Him, regardless of past actions.”
The words her mother spoke made her doubt slip away for the time being. It would surely come back when she stood before him, but for now she was content with what she had learned and she decided she would give him a chance and pray it went well. She still wasn’t sure what would happen if he didn’t like her. ”Thank you Mother.” She said with a nudge to her leg and then decided she’d go hang out with her Aunt for a bit. She flicked her tail and pranced out of the Teepee in search of Auntie Eli.
Plot Ideas: (these are all rough ideas. I really don’t have anything set, but it’s a wide variety of things that could happen)
Foal: Someone dislikes Nivlishna (Nina for short) and she does everything she can to get whomever it is to like her, even if it means she gets into trouble trying to do something. I would like her to get a friend that would grow up and with her and continue to be her friend maybe even a future mate possibility that could turn the opposite direction once they get older? Definitly want to do some family plots with her, maybe her grandfather trying to set her up with an arranged marriage for when she's older? He would seem the type to do something like that from what I've read.
Adolescent: (still not sure if there is an adolescent stage) Maybe a possible kidnapping? I’m not sure how conflicting different herds are to one another and perhaps there’s a group out there that wants to rouse things up and kidnaps her. Possibly something where she learns a lesson and that’s what makes her want to learn to hold her tongue and be less aggressive. Life lessons are always a blast to do.
Adult: I was thinking she could have had a possible pact with someone when she was a foal and that she and the stallion grew up together thinking they’d be mates once they were grown and then he decides he wants to be with someone else. I think that would be an interesting twist to her life. Possibly even something in which she might get pregnant and then he leaves her kinda thing. (not sure how the rules apply here for that, these are just ideas). Something in which she’s put in a situation in which she feels the need to defend her family from someone or even something.

Hey look at me, I'm an entry!
Name: dawns_aura Basket Name: Nafiah (for either gender) Temper: If male: sensible If female: impetuous
Personality: Male- Born with a good head on his shoulders and also a kind heart, he is gentlemanly and very likeable. Unfailingly honest, he tells the truth as he sees it no matter what, but is tactful, careful not to cause offense or hurt. Proper, he was taught manners and they have become a key part of whom he is and define him in a way. Perceptive and keen. Genuine. Aware of the differences between the genders and protective of the females in his life.
Female- Passionate and fiery, living life to the fullest... though still very much a feminine girl at heart, with a love of fairytales and romance and happily-ever-afters. She is prone to making snap judgments and slow to change her opinion, unless faced with no other choice. She is generally good-natured and kindhearted, though her well meaning actions often have a habit of backfiring or making the situation worse. But this does not discourage her much or cause her to stop in her meddlesome ideas.
Prompt Choice: 2nd Prompt Entry: (will be playing as the female gender)
She was alone, pondering information she was given, in her favorite quiet place to just go and think. A place where she could do whatever was necessary. She could run, scream fling herself against a tree or whatever to just get her temper under control. Not that this was necessary all too often. Except when she got frustrated or annoyed with her siblings or parents. Which was bound to happen some times. No matter how much she loved them. But that wasn't the case this time. This time, she had come because of a tale Aunty Elisheva told her.
All her life, Nafaih had seen the deep love her parents shared and just knew that they had had the kind of love she wanted to experience for herself someday. And that there were some trials they faced, but there was no way they could ever not end up together. Or so she had always thought. And apparently that was what she had been meant to think and believe. At least that's how it seemed now.
But then Aunty Elisheva had told her the true story. Her parents, who were so meant to be almost weren't. The trials they faced, namely her grandfather, almost kept them apart. They almost didn't have their happily-ever-after. This revelation, though surprising, wasn't the cause of her confusion, upset and deep thoughts today. No. It was the fact that she had family - Blood - out there who might resent her. Who might hate her... How could this be? There was something so wrong about it. Family should not hate one another. Not for any reason. This caused a small wound that festered in her heart.
Fine. If granddad Auster hated her, then she would return the favor. She was determined to dislike him. No matter what. Even if it caused her pain.
Plot Ideas:
Female only plots- ~Misunderstandings, Misinterpretations and Mendings: She hears her parents story from Aunty Elisheva, and forms a very unfavorable opinion of her grandfather based on the biased information she hears. She is determined to dislike him, but when she actually meets him, he is not like the monster she had built up in her mind, and she is confused. Time and more than one meeting convince her that maybe he isn't all that bad and it might be ok for her to like him. This is the first time she is forced to see that perhaps she has judged a person or situation too quickly. And that she isn't always right. This lesson will be reinforced in different times and by different ways, hopefully leading to moderating her personality somewhat, though the effects won't be obvious until later on in life. ~ Falling in and Out of Like: A romantic at heart, she is in love with the idea of love. Through several relationships that she believes are love, but are nothing more than a deep friendship. She begins to feel like there is something wrong with her, that she won't be able to fall in love, when she meets a mare or stallion who sweep her off her hooves and become her sun, moon and stars, that her life will revolve around.
Male only plots- ~ What's with the stick up your.... : Proper and a gentleman, at times almost too much so, he seems somewhat distant or boring. He meets someone, a mare or stallion (friend) who want to help him loosen up and become more adventurous and open. ~ Let Me escort you: He meets a female traveling alone, and it goes against everything he is to let her go on alone so he offers to act as an escort or bodyguard until she reaches her destination. Depending on the answer - he would go along with her, possibly get into trouble and what not Or she could refuse and he would try to convince her otherwise, using any means necessary up to the point of fighting her (not seriously) to prove she needs assistance and learning that she is strong enough and challenging his some-what old-fashioned views.
General- ~ Family; with the various aunts, uncles and grandparents and any others ~ Confronting weaknesses : everyone has weaknesses, so putting them into situations where they can learn and grow and confront these weaknesses ~ Tempering character: because they do have a few extremes in their personality, they experience situations to moderate or encourage the specific problem etc...

Hey look at me, I'm an entry!
Name: SilverLutz Basket Name: Aisteach - either gender Temper: Curious Personality: (Personality will be the same for both genders, just going to say he's male through the whole app). Aisteach, or more commonly called Ai, is a curious guy, always sticking his snout in things it doesn't belong in. He loves to learn, even if it's a bit risky to do so. Some might call him adventurous, others foolish, and even more a dare devil. But to Ai, all he does is in the name of learning something new. He is as loyal to his family as the day is long, ready to drop whatever he's doing to help them out. He looks up to his father and his way with other horses, always being kind and courteous to them. Ai wishes to be the same, although his curious nature usually leads others to find him more of a bother than a help. As he grows, he'll learn to control his nosy habits and will mature gracefully, turning into a fine adult that any parent could be proud of. His thirst for knowledge will never be slaked, though, and through his life he will constantly seek out that next bit of information to learn.
Prompt Choice: 1 Prompt Entry: Ai hung his head between his long forelegs, watching his own tail twitch back and forth at the odd angle. He enjoyed looking at things upside down, and would even walk in this way sometimes just to see what it might be like to be a bat. He was careful to only do so in the open plains, though. His first attempt had been taken too near a tree, and he had a rather sore head to pay for his efforts for a few days after.
The young foal's eyes caught something moving in the distance, and he peered past his tail to focus on what it was. A smile crossed his muzzle as he recognized his mother grazing. She was easy to pick out from the grass, what with her beautiful berry-colored coat and golden markings, Even though she had no horns or wings like some other horses he'd seen, she was still very pretty and he was proud to call her his mother. Lifting his head, Ai turned to face the rest of the small group just a quick trot away. His father was there as well, grazing just beside his mother. The two made a stark contrast, but Ai didn't look at it as something out of the ordinary. Everyone was different, after all. Where his mother was beautiful and elegant, his father was mysterious and ethereal. His spider web wings were very unusual and the mask on his face had sent many a foal fleeing in terror, but Ai found his father just as comforting as his mother.
It surprised him to learn, just a few days ago, that his mother was considered the odd one out. She was beautiful but had no horns or wings. To Ai, this wasn't an issue, and he had frowned when he had heard other horses whispering about the couple and their children. Curious as always, he had snuck a bit closer to try to hear their words more clearly. 'Such a shame' they'd said, 'the poor dear has no traits to pass on', 'that Izefiah will only make spooky children', and things like that. Ai had snorted and stamped his hooves at the adults, but had then fled when they turned to look at him. Speaking about his mother like that! Plain? Pah! They didn't know plain if it hit them in the face.
Shaking his head to rid himself of the memory, Ai gave a soft whinny and trotted over to be with his parents. They were different, but amazing in their own ways, and he was very happy to have them both for parents. Besides, it wasn't what on the outside that counted. It was what was inside that did! Both of his parents had beautiful personalities, even Ai could see that at a young age. He tossed his head happily as he broke into a childish run, bucking and twisting as he ran. He hoped to be just as beautiful as they were one day, but for now, it was time to play!
Plot Ideas: Oh man, this would be my first SoQ, so all the plots! All the things! D= I'd love lots and lots of family RP during his young days, strengthening the bond between father, mother, siblings, aunts, uncles, whoever is around to play with him! I'd love for him to get into some trouble as well. Nothing too major, just enough to get mum or dad to scold him for wandering off to find out where the baby foxes lived or something like that. At the same time, having mum or dad or even auntie Eli encourage his hunger for knowledge, perhaps showing him a few tricks of the horse trade, would be most appreciated!
As he grows I'd like for him to find some friends to play with, to go on adventures with, tease, torment, crush on, etc. Perhaps a youth to have as a rival so to speak, one that he 'fights' against for the attention of a female they both like. Mostly just kid things, helping him grow and mature into a fine adult.
Once he's grown I'd love for him to travel the plains and meet all kinds of SoQ, learning as much as he can about their different ways of living. I see him getting hit with wanderlust, but always returning home to his family. Perhaps meeting a girl and being faced with settling down with her and starting a family or continuing on his never-ending search for information. Or she could be similar and crave adventure and they could go off together, happy to call no place home and see the world as much as they can! Either way, lots and lots of RP =3
