Caterpie's Forest Beginner Rank, Levels 1 - 10 Home to Bug and Grass Types Just west of Armonia lies a small but flourishing forest. In the sun, it glimmers with colors; red, yellow, blue, and multitudes of green. Though it's labeled as a dungeon, if only for the mysterious moss covered stairs that appear to lead explorers deeper into sun-flooded groves, most Armonians don't think of Caterpie's Forest as particularly dangerous. Guild leaders send their new recruits here for practice. While most of the wild Pokemon who have taken up residence in the forest are peaceful, the Bug types can be quite territorial...
For this dungeon, you will roll for10 roomsusinga 10-sided die.
Wynaut, after many stumbles and trips, finally made it to the Caterpie Forest. She looked around at all the trees in awe. "Woooow, it's so big." She mused to herself, venturing further into the forest. "I hope I don't get lost." It sounded like something everyone would say, but this little Wynaut was clumsy and had not so fair luck. It was really probable that she would truly get lost.

Her current surroundings seemed to be empty, which meant nothing to trip over, crash into or roll under. On the other hand, it also meant no treasures to come back to the guild with either. Wyann sighed softly and continued through the forest.
After making certain that the last area had absolutely nothing in it. Wyann moved to the next area, still ever more awe-inspired. She hoped she found lots of items to take back to her guild to prove that, just because she was clumsy doesn't mean she couldn't get things done if she put her mind into it.

Wyann had almost thought that her 'curse' wasn't going to happen in this forest, but she soon proved herself wrong. Her stupidly short legs caught one another and she took a tumble forward. Luckily, her fall was broken by something squishy, unfortunately, that squishy thing was a Caterpie trying to make its way to another bush.

With a squeal, Wyann used her long ears to smack the upset Caterpie into the bushes and ran... or waddled away as fast as she could. When she was clear, she stopped and let out a breath. "Whew... that was close." She mumbled to herself.
After calming herself down from the ordeal, Wyann soon waddled to the next area. The only good thing about not finding anything yet was there was nothing she could drop or scatter while she ventured.

Looking around again, she frowned at the sight of the empty surroundings. Perhaps her bad luck is taking the form of not going to be able to find anything but angry Pokemon. Wyann sure hoped not.
With a sigh, the little Wynaut continued to the next area of the forest. She looked up the trees for anything dangling, into the bushes for roots sticking out, or perhaps, something good she can take back.

Instead of finding anything good, Wyann found another Caterpie as she was inspecting the bushes. Apparently too close for comfort, the little bug ran out toward her.

Again, she used her ears to swat away this Caterpie as she did the first one she came up against. Dealing with these Pokemon would go so much better if she actually had attacks that dealt physical damage, but until then, her ears will have to do.
She quickly waddled to the next area, stopping momentarily, panting and catching her breath. It seems she was halfway through, perhaps she should quit now? She shook her head as she finally continued searching, she made it this far, she might as well finish

Yet again, she was attacked by a Pokemon. This time, it wasn't a Caterpie, but a Combee. Why a Combee? They were so creepy. She shuddered as the angered bug flew toward her

With this attack, Wyann was a little too scared to try swatting the Combee away from her. Instead, she screamed and waddled away to the next area as fast as she could.
Reaching the next area and no sign of the Combee, she sighed. "Phew... that was so close. Why didn't anyone tell me there were Combees here?!! I hope there aren't any Beedrills." She said with a shudder.
