Personality description:
On the surface: Quiet and gentle, Kat is generally calm and centered, though she has her limits. For example, she takes great exception to the mistreatment and neglect of Pokemon; it's one of the few topics that will provoke her into raising her voice.

Underneath: Kat's quiet nature hides a lot of sadness and a deep lack of confidence.

Abilities:
She spent her childhood learning medicine at her grandmother's knee, as well as a love of cooking.

Brief Biography:

Kat's dad died shortly before she was born in a car accident. Her mother was left deeply embittered by the experience, and projected her unhappiness onto her young daughter. She was unaffectionate and very critical, leaving Kat deeply unsure about her self-worth.

Her grandmother was her refuge, and practically raised her which was quite fine by Kat. She passed away a year ago, however, which only redoubled her mother's bad attitude. Finally fed up with the abuse, Kat's 18th birthday present to herself was a ticket to a new start in Zatao, about as far from home as she could get.
