Azure rolled the a piece of quartz between his fingers as he poured over a piece of parchment, one he had read so many times it was memorized, yet he read it anyways because he processed it better that way. He was several miles from home in the forest of Loka Nei, he liked to get his 'business' done away from home due to the potential danger of it. And well... lets face it, three boys make a lot of noise. "Mother..." he whispered.
The whole mission that had been thrust upon him by the mysterious figure known as 'mother' had been put on the shelf ever since he and Dyas had found out about their surprise pregnancy. He just couldn't leave Dyas to go off for days at a time while she was in that sort of state. Then, after the pregnancy any thought of leaving the cave for a moment was a joke with three children. Now... now they were a little older, at least old enough that Azure felt he could return to this.
Azure had figured out this much in his spare time:
- Transmute meant to change in form (he had to look that up in one of Dyas' books)
"Your crystals will help guide you"- his blue crystal was the light that had led him to the black crystal
Therefore, his black crystal would lead him to the next crystal
Having figured that out, Azure's next goal was to figure out how to make a glow-y black light come out of the crystal, and he was supposed to use the quartz to do that. "Alright... Show me the way!" Azure commanded as he pulled out the black crystal and held it in the opposite hand. He hadn't really thought that would do anything, but he had hoped. Next, Azure tried pointing the quartz at the black crystal and touching them to each other... nothing.
The male sighed, he knew it was probably more complicated then that. He was sitting with legs crossed, leaning against a tree. He separated the crystals, though still had the quartz pointed towards the black. Azure closed his eyes, trying to imagine the black crystal as something more fluid and using the quartz to pull the fluid out of the crystal container. Azure could see the light shining through his eyelids now, he opened his eyes and saw a glowing black orb beginning to take the shape of a black bear. His eyes widened.
