Appearance
A willowy teenage girl, she's got pale freckled skin, shoulder-length brown hair and blue eyes, her hair's usually in a low ponytail. She wears a lot of blue and white, and wears some simple pieces of jewelry that her father has given her.
Personality
Camellia, despite her girlish appearance, has big aspirations. She dreams of becoming a pirate, where she can live a free life where she can do what she would like without repercussion. She can be rather impulsive at times due to her age, and so she has a bad habit of rushing into potentially dangerous situations. She is also incredibly softhearted, the kind of girl who cries at the thought of animals dying, even for food, and Cam likes to help people. Under her rather silly-seemingly childish antics, she truly is an intelligent young woman who could go on to do great things if she applied herself...
Which is why she doesn't want to become a merchant like her dad, although it is what Charles would want of his young daughter. She has an interest in naval activities, and she is surprisingly skilled at games like chess and other thought-provoking games. Cam also has an interest in poetry, particularly the poetry of a certain woman who wrote love poems for other women... Thankfully, Camellia has the fortune of not having been married off yet, as she is not interested in the young men she has met, although she seems to have a liking for the older gentlemen she has met in her travels.
History
When Camellia was very young, her mother, Klementina, left her and her father behind, leaving behind only a letter of farewell. Aside from that, Cam has no notable history. She was born in Sunderland and lives a pretty well-off life in her home in Palisade. As a child she spent a lot of time travelling alone with her father, and so she has come to enjoy the company of older gentlemen. She is a chosen now, which is pretty cool.
Family
Father - Charles Lahart - A successful merchant of Sunderland, he focuses on the sale of clothing. He's struggled with raising his daughter all by himself since his wife left. He doesn't like to talk about it.
Mother - Klementina Lahart (nee Vovk) - Cam's missing mother, she left when Cam was very young and as of her last letter, she was in one of the Belastrana territories, which is also her own homeland.
She also has her own horse, in addition to the horses used to pull the merchant carts and carriage. He is a gelding named Day.
Currently
Talking to older men in an attempt to feel more mature and grown-up. She has a bit of a bad habit of rushing into things that are potentially dangerous.
Future plans
Getting over her pirate obsession, making some friends. Getting into an actually dangerous situation, being wounded in a serious way.

Personality
Elise could be described as "prim and proper" by human standards, she's a doe who thinks she knows best when it comes to her chosen. She is truly a gentle soul, much like her chosen, but without the thrill-seeking Camellia engages in. In fact, she's rather against all that sort of thing. She really prefers the peaceful life that Camellia has as an upper middle class woman, rather than any idea her chosen has had so far. Elise dislikes Cam's disposition and the way she likes to hang out with older and dangerous people, especially foreigners.
Relationship to Chosen
Although they do get along well, there is a fundamental difference in their attitudes about how Camellia's life should be lived. Elise would rather Camellia settle down and take the wonderful life offered to her by her father's successful business instead of chasing childish pipe dreams. She worries for her chosen's safety in her dangerous endeavors, and fiercely protests against all the strange things her chosen desires.
