Small fingers remained tightly curled in the front of Al's shirt as she jerked him along harshly behind her. She was pissed, not just at him and Noah for their insanely rude and invasive behavior, but at the fact that she alone had been the only one really bothered by the fact they two boys had been peeping on the girl's showers. Nevada had cared, to an extent, but not as much as Peyton felt she should have. She really didn't feel like dragging the pair of perverts out and kicking their asses was being cruel, or going overboard. She felt justified. This wasn't okay. It just wasn't.
And, yeah, maybe the fact that no member of the opposite sex had thus far seen her in so much as her underwear, let alone naked, had something to do with how very upset she was, but she couldn't be the only one that didn't feel comfortable having her privacy stripped away like that.
The boys were lucky the dainty Sun had only removed her tee shirt. If they'd seen anymore skin she might have just murdered them on sight.
When they reached the training field she gave the front of his shirt a rather sudden yank and shoved him away from her, across the grass. Summoning Warrick the second her hands were free. For the moment she wasn't saying anything, but the narrowed glare of her eyes, the upward curl of her lips. All of it spoke to just how livid she was. He knew why he was here, she didn't have to remind him.
<Destroy him, Halfpint..>
I plan to.

AL had gone mostly limp and heavy at the hold she had on his clothes. Just lumbering obediently like a big dopey dog on a short leash. When she finally let go with a shove, he stumbled backwards. Just barely catching himself before falling in a heap.
He looked at her, distant and somewhat scared. He was going to get it bad enough from Rep. Perhaps he was already dead at this point? Was it really worth trying? He hadn't summoned Nuru just yet.
His lips curled downward. "I'm sorry," his voice squeaked uncertainly.

Al stumbled, tripping over his own feet to land himself on his a** in the patchy grass. He hand't protested up to this point. Hell, he hadn't said a god damned word, which, if she hadn't have been so narrowly focused, might have come off as strange behavior. But she didn't notice, and maybe she wouldn't have cared even if she had. "Get up." She growled it at him, advancing a step as her tingers tightened almost painfully around Warrick's rings. "Get up and summon your damn weapon." No ******** way was he going to back out now. He'd made his bed when he and Al had entered that closet, now he had to lay in it. She didn't want to hear his squeaky apologies, they were beyond that point. < What are you going to do if he refuses..?> Warricks voice was a low his in her mind, but he had a point. There were consequences for drawing down on an unarmed hunter. Even if they were on the training fields. She contemplated that possibility for a moment, weighing everything out, and realized she didn't give a s**t for consequences. Not this time.

Al flinched, expecting all hell to rain down upon him. But he still did not draw Nuru. He did not advance. He just stood there staring at her like a dumb animal. Waiting for her decision in this encounter. He was not going to encourage one by his own actions in this matter.

He just kept sitting there, staring up at her..
"Get up!" She screamed it at him as she finally advanced on him, and before he had time to decide one way or the other she was jerking him up on his feet by the collar of his shirt. "If you do not summon you're weapon I am still going to beat the s**t out of you," she hissed at him. "I don't care if you're ******** sorry. You went too damn far. You had no right!" With every word her voice got higher, more emotional, until finally she was screaming at him.
"Summon you weapon!" It was her last warning. She let go of his shirt so she could take a step back, and when there was ample space between them she brought one leg up and thrust out with it, driving her heel for his stomach.

Al continued to submit feebly to her whims. He wasn't going to do this. There was no point in it. He held no grudges for her and he was sort of.... distantly grateful that she ultimately chose to pin the whole thing on him. Allowing Noah to flee before their arrival to this battleground.
Her attack came, swiftly and it felt like he had a massive rock in his gut. The swelling and throbbing quite painful.
However, Al's choice in the matter had been abruptly terminated as his thoughts were overrun with one prevailing roar. "NO!" Nuru's voice cried out in desperation through Al's mind. The weapon summoned to his hand as he reflexively swung out to graze the staff against Pey's fear shield as he ran past her. Fleeing the interaction. nuru would not stand for his hunter being threatened.

Finally!
The weapon materialized in Al's hand, swiping at her and grazing her shield, but he wasn't really attacking her. He was running past her, away from her. Trying to escape the situation. It shouldn't have been surprising, really it shouldn't have been, but somehow it was. Pale eyes went wide, and there was one short second of stunned inactivity before the Sun had pivoted on her heel to go after him.
"You are not running away from this, you jack a**!" Peyton got up with the sun three to four days a week and ran. She trained her body to be fast, to be agile. She caught up with him easily, and when she did she sent a foot into the back of his knee.

Al let out a loud yelp as the attack sent him flying head over heels in a tumble. Al did not do those things. He wasn't perfect. He had no wild dreams of ever becoming so. What he did have though was a will to live and.... unusual... survival instincts.
He caught himself eventually and proceeded to dart past her a second time, again sliding the staff out to give her a gentle knock as he passed by.

She almost didn't register the soft thunk to her head as he tried to dart past her again. It made her pause, her breath sped out in a humorless laugh. "What's the matter Al? You didn't have any ******** trouble slamming that thing into my temple last time."
She wanted him to fight back. She wanted him to turn and face her and own up to what he'd done and take his beating like a ******** man. There wasn't as much satisfaction in chasing him around, and she was beginning to feel like a bully.
<You're not a bully. What if you'd undressed more before anyone had noticed them. What if you'd gotten into the showers?>
Peyton reached out and grabbed a hold of the back of his coat and jerked him back around to face her. "You are going to stop trying to run away, and you are going to face me like a man, and you are going fight back!" Her fist cocked back, and she brought it back, shoulder rolling forward, to dig her knuckles into the side of his jaw.
"I don't care if the other girls don't give a s**t who sees their bodies. I don't care how much of a big deal they think I'm making. You don't get to be the first man that sees me naked! You don't have that right!" She was screaming again, and her emotions were getting the better of her. Mindless, anger fueled confessions that she didn't want him to know, that she didn't want anyone to know.

Al was easily caught up to again and hauled back by the excess material of his jacket. Despite her request, it wasn't in him to attack directly. That was never in him. Not when it came to other hunters anyway. Other people. People were outright terrifying. No, instead, he tried to swing his weapon up at her hand to get her to release in desperation.
He heard her words, every last one of them, but he was too determined to get away to allow them to sink in just yet.

The girl gave a rather rage fueled cry as her opponent once again responded on Peyton's attack by trying to run away! "You don't get to run away from your problems, Al!" Specially not ones he made for himself. He'd dug this hole, he wasn't allowed to simply crawl out now. Another laughable brush to her head made her hair move, and she sprinted after him, past him, to block his escape with an elbow to the sternum. "You are such a coward. A spineless, underhanded, creep. Is that really how you want people to view you?" HP: 47 DMG: 5 CHG: 3/3 | 0/2

Al clutched his chest with a snarl of pain at the attack. As he fell back, he turned Nuru on her - flames bursting from behind the staff's teeth directed at her face.
He turned to run yet again in the other direction. He huffed desperately to catch his breath as he ran but it just wasn't going to happen.
"I don't fight people who are being raving loonies!" he spoke back finally. He was trying to shout, but his voice was strained and breathy. He was moving towards the practice dummies this time.

The fire was unexpected. In all the time Peyton had been on the island thus far, she had yet to witness anyone wielding a weapon though could do any sort of elemental damage. It probably would have been neat to see the flames if they hadn't whirled out and into her face. She shrieked, back peddling away as Warrick shouted in her head that the flame couldn't hurt her, that she was alright. It took a second or two for that to sink in, but it did, and the hands the Sun had jerked up to protect her face fell back to her sides.
"Is that so?" She laughed, she couldn't help it. "You run around this island after the biggest ******** psycho on the bunch, and you've never faced off against him? I find that truly hard to believe."
He was running again, and she started after him, blocking his escape at the dummies with the spikes of her knuckles sinking into the dummy beside him. "This island is filled with raving loonies," she hissed at him, lavender eyes very level. "We're all crazy, every one of us. So why," she prompted, tearing the spikes out of the wood and bringing them back around to sink into his stomach. "Would you even think," another fist to his side. "About doing anything," His shoulder. "That would piss us off, Eh?" The last hit was an uppercut, aimed straight for the base of his jaw.

Her rambling on and on fell on deaf ears as Al's instincts concentrated on one narrow point. That point was to get away and to do so as soon as possible. It wasn't fast enough and he soon found himself caught in a storm of flying pieces of dummy, spikes, and fist. Nuru was only able to eat so much of it before the final blow sent his fear shield back and away with an invisible ripple of force that parted to allow the sharp spikes to rake across his cheek. Blood drawn and splashed onto her hand. He stared at her with wide almost wild eyes as he fell back to the ground.
He wasn't looking at a human, but rather a monster.
There was no more arguing. There was only getting the ******** away from the psycho. He wasn't playing dirty this time as he clutched a fistfull of sand from the battlefield, he was trying to survive. He abruptly lept up, tossing the sand in the direction of her face before turning to run full tilt.
