History: Hollin is the daughter of Shrike and one of the many women he has slept with over the turns. The twins, Sunny, all his children had different mothers and there could be arguments that he is not the biological father though he has taken them all under wing. He managed with a lot of help to keep the twins alive and the caravans came through for his daughter and then Sunny later.
The only girl and just starting to blossom into a teenager and into a woman, Shrike certainly isn’t going to let his little girl be taken advantage off. She knows how to fight, and to fight dirty at that. Having a burnt out ex-guard for a father has some advantages. She knows how to use a knife, having help Naanash skinned kills and chopped up vegetables and herbs and then having spent a candle mark with Loche every evening at dusk for weapon practice.
It was familiar, travel in the wagon, unpack/set up camp, learn some more about carving, weapon practice and repeat. Help Naanash with stewing dinner or numbweed, or prepping lines into bandages. Help Vaail make charcoals and inks. Round up her little brother, help gather firewood. Make stone arrow heads for the hunters. It took her a quarter of a turn to make a good arrowhead. And longer to learn how to properly hunt.
Then they ended up in Trine, and there was a clutch and the twins became candidates and Vaail now V’ail impressed and everything is crazy. Lanterneth is gorgeous but she was tiny, and frail, and they would not abandoned family not when there was a chance she wouldn't make it.
Trine is nothing like the camps. Too many people, some of them nosy, and the work her father could get was degrading.
She been working at her craft since she was eight, carving wood, bone, and knapping stone that fractures conchoidal such as flint, obsidian, and chert to make arrow heads, blades, and scrappers out of. Her work includes buttons, toggles, knife/ scrapper/ and fan handles and the creation of hair clips, combs and pins.
Description: Hollin has black hair in a bob cut. She, like her older brothers, has a lanky frame but in a way that suggests a feline grace when she is gets older. She never going to be curvy, straight and slender. She had soft lips, heavy lidded eyes, and bright green eyes under thick lashes.
Hollin enjoys being feminine in a subtle manner. She isn't one for dresses but she likes short skirts, half skirts, and other types overlaid over skin tight leggings. Bodices, shirts with long sleeves, cropped jackets and spats are her clothing articles of choice and she takes very good care of them.
Personality:
V’ail throws himself head first into trouble, Naanash snarks and frets. Hollin watches and listens. She is quite, introverted and rather let the flow of words wash over her then to join into the conversation. Often she will be doing some small project, carving or sanding buttons or using antler to chip stone to shape an arrowhead during her free time. She always seems to have some project on hand. Hollin works. She has an intense focus and drive that makes working with Naanash a joy and working with V’ail a bit of a chore.
Hollin and Naanash both have the same, get it done attitude while V’ail is very much the dreamer of their family. Sunny too, but Sunshine is five, he can be a dreamer. She is mature for her age. She calm, rational, and has done without. She takes very good care of her clothing since there is no guarantee they will be able to afford new things.
What is this privacy you speak off? Privacy is a pipe dream in the caravans. She shared a wagon with her father, his live in boyfriend; twin elder brothers and her baby sibling. It was cramped. Most of the families in the caravan were in similar circumstances, maybe not as cramped but certainly not a place of solace. They bathed in groups at the river or strung up cloth to catch rain in camp showers. Separating things by gender tend not to work with younger kids underfoot in need of supervision. If you wanted time alone, you left the camp for the woods.
Now there are houses and buildings and streets and odd looks because she has never been body shy. She been raised with men, she has help bathed her younger sibling. She seen things okay. It doesn’t mean she is improper. Or easy or anything else… it means she has eyes and she just hates you all.
Hate, hate, hate, all you noisy judging biddies… she doesn’t want to get married and to be a lady! Or hold proper, and stop judging her father and his live in boyfriend and her siblings. Well, some of you. When Hollin judges, she judges, harsh, sharp, and can drag it on to the point of pettiness. It takes a while for her to calm, or Nash or her father calling her on it. Loche is the great instigator.
Family loyalty, Hollin is loyal to her family. Her elder brothers and Loche, and her father. Protective of ity bity Sunny, who always seems to be underfoot. This deep loyalty makes it difficult to make her own decisions.
Flaws: Judgmental, quiet, blind loyalty, lack of body awareness and empathy

History: He's five. The youngest of Shrike's broad, Sunny has mostly been raised by his siblings as this father slows down in age. The city is new and exciting and he misses his elder brothers. His care is mostly falling to Hollin, but Naanash and V’ail help when they can.
Description: Sunny is named for his bright blonde hair and blue eyes. He actually looks a bit like Shrike, if one erases the heavy scar tissue on his face and erases fifty some + years. Sunny is the only child that is light skin. Tanned from the elements, hair bleached blond, and big blue eyes, he certainly stands out among his elder siblings with their more olive tone skin and dark hair.
Personality: I love you! Sunny genuinely likes everyone. He is full of questions, curiosity and follows his siblings and strange parents like a little duck. He is talkative, and has a short attention span.
Other: He is going to be around… but less character, more plot possibilities. - Mainly here so I don't forget
