The anouncements in our school are all in Irish and were doing stuff in Irish.

I would be so confused in your school. Our old headmaster was American so we wouldn't have Irish announcements.

We did Irish dancing today. It was awful we had to dance with the guys and all of the girls were trying to move places because we didn't want to be with one guy. I spent the whole time laughing at my friend because her and the person she was with were holding hands at arms length! We're doing it with the whole year tomorrow I think.

We didn't do it a second time. Although I think we'll be doing it next week after the holidays.

I know this is a bit behind the loop, but oh well.
I'd love to do something like that. I'm American (a little Irish on both sides) and it's so hard to find any Irish instruction here. I dont have the money for private instruction so I have to find it where I can. I think a time of immersion would be great to help me learn more of the language and to just be able to enjoy the Irish culture more.
