At least within the list of rules and limitations that Thackery had been given. He didn't mind following the rules, and was still strictly clinging to them, but the longer he stayed, the more repetitive it got. It was nice to meet the humans, and interesting to see how all of them worked. Unfortunately, the one building that he was allowed in was the labs, and he was not at all clever enough to understand that work past a very basic level.
And they never really wanted him to bother them, which he understood, as disappointing as it was. It was probably super serious stuff, since they had to focus so hard on saving the world and everything. He was just one Cerberus who wanted attention, among what was definitely a bajillion humans and creatures just like him.
It would have been humbling, if the concept stuck at all. But it hadn't, and the thought was gone as soon as he left the labs, his mind focusing on the problem of boredom again. After walking in circles and grumbling 'uuuughh' over and over didn't do anything, he'd begun to collect an armful of sticks, with no real reason in mind. Once there were no more sticks in sight, he'd flopped down to inspect them.
They were bendy enough to make nice little crowns, he discovered, and was now busying himself by making small circlets of sticks.
