((This is finishing an RP between Hannah and Delilah))

Delilah's eyes were moving from her friend towards the crowd and then back up to the moon. Some people seemed to be whispering about something, others were acting like nothing even happened. A trick of the light? That both of them saw? Now that just seemed odd.

"You are most likely right. Whatever it was, if anything at all, I don't care to find out if there is more." Standing up with her, Delilah suddenly felt drained but snapped out of it the moment she felt Hannah come crashing towards her. Reaching out quickly for her friend, Delilah's face wore concern for the first time that night. She knew the girl's condition so anything surprising caused Delilah to react. "Are you sure? Need to go back down for a second until it passes?"

Once she had regained some semblance of balance, Hannah stood up straight what was that about? she wondered "I'm sure. Can we," she paused "Would it be okay if we headed home? I'm feeling really tired all of a sudden." It's like all the energy and excitement she had built up for tonight vanished.

Nodding once, Delilah offered Hannah her hand to stabilize on before reaching down to grab the blanket. Folding it up, she shoved it back into her bag. "I'm feeling sleepy myself. Like I could use come coffee to stay up. But this late at night?" She cracked a smile before gazing back up at the sky.

"Something really doesn't feel right." What Delilah didn't tell Hannah was that she felt a little on edge. After having a double life for so long, she really didn't want to believe the 'bunnies' were real but she didn't trust it anymore.

"Things will be better in the morning, I think we both just need to get some sleep." With that said, Hannah once again linked her arm with Delilah's, this time less animated than before. "Not exactly the ending I expected" she said, followed by a yawn. "I was really looking forward to doing some of the games with you." She smiled at her friend and gave her a soft nudge. "I still had fun though, thank you."

Smiling as she leaned her head towards her friend, Delilah was trying to push the dark feeling from her core. She knew it had to be nothing, right? Wouldn't others have noticed it as well?

Still, casting her eyes at Hannah, Delilah took a deep breath. "What? You mean flying pink rabbits are not your idea of how to end a night? I say that is a different one for sure."

She jested for a moment before really watching the girl's face. Of course she wanted to play games and do other things but Hannah's health came first. They could play board games another night.

Hannah laughed and shook her head, strands of periwinkle hair tickling her brow from both the motion of shaking her head combined with the light evening breeze. "No not quite, though they make me think of Bunnicula from the book we had to read back in elementary school." Taking on a stereotypical Dracula voice she added "Sent here to suck the juice from all our vegetables!"

Turning her head to smile at her friend she noted the concerned look on Delilah's face. All joking aside she gave her friends arm a light squeeze "I'm ok, I promise. I was just at the doctors last week and they said I'm fine. I'd say don't worry, but I have a feeling that won't stop you will it?" She gave Delilah's arm another reassuring squeeze and a softened smile in an attempt to put her friends mind at ease.

Arching an eyebrow at Hannah, Delilah had to wonder how on Earth the girl remembered that book. It had been so...so horrible! Shivering at the thought of that silly bunny with fangs, Delilah sighed. "You know that book gave me nightmares. Cut it out!" she called out in a mock warning voice before her face melted.

"I was never able to hide what I was thinking from you, was I?" Delilah smiled and returned the squeeze on the arm. "Well, if he said you were okay, then I believe him and I trust you not to go out an run a marathon. Just maybe a half one"

Hannah raised her hands in a 'who me? I didn't do it' type gesture."Haha, I'm sorry it was just a random thought ."

"Not really," she admitted without hesitation "we've been finishing each others sentences since elementary school. I think it would take more than two years apart to change anything." She playfully leaned her body into Delilah, pushing her sideways so she walked at an angle. No matter the distance between them, they were family... kinda. Both her parents have called Delilah their 'adopted child' for as long as she could remember. She was the one person who knew Hannah inside and out, like an open book, and was the only person whom she trusted with her secrets and fears."But don't worry, there are no marathons in my immediate future. Not unless you count running like a crazy person across to street to meet a friend."

Shaking her head at Hannah's 'random thought', Delilah was doing her best to push it out of her mind. Stupid bunnies.

But then again, they weren't with fangs but those bunnies did feel like they took something from her. What was it?

Suddenly she was leaning and it took all she had to balance with that bag on her shoulder. "Hey! I haven't mastered walking sideways yet so no pushing." Throwing herself lightly back, she tapped Hannah's side and shove her a few inches. Hannah was the only girl Delilah could ever be herself around. She was glad she was back.

"So what do you think they were? I mean, you saw them too right? Just a trick of the light or something...magical?"

"Balance check!" Hannah laughed till she herself was caught by surprise nearly stumbling over or own two feet when Delilah had nudged her back "oof! Haha, it's okay I'm not much better." Laughter, a sound that was for a while was all but foreign up until recently, sounded harmonious when coupled with the company of a beloved friend.

"To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what they were." Hannah shrugged her shoulders, "But I honestly don't think they were a trick of the light. Unless there was a projector somewhere bouncing light off mist or something." She gave her friend a lopsided unsure smile. "I don't know, they seamed real enough but then they ... it just vanished. What do you think?" she asked, curious what Delilah's guess was.

Delilah's own laughter mixed with Hannah's as they walked before their tone dropped towards the flying rabbits. Honestly she didn't have a clue and frankly, that worried her. If anything, being a senshi made her jumpy but today, she was with Hannah. She didn't want to even think about being Sailor Phact.

"You know, that would be an impressive trick. To cover the entire city with smoke and trick us all into seeing something? But come on. Do you really think Destiny City would spend the money on that?" She countered and shrugged. "You know, I honestly just hope it was something in the hot chocolate. Because what if it was something with those terrorist?"

Delilah tried not to let Hannah on too much about the worry of her friend's reaction. They really had not talked much about the powered creatures walking around the city with them but now seemed like a good time to bring it up. What did her best friend think of them? Of the secret Delilah was being forced to keep from her?

“Probably not, Destiny City doesn’t seem to be hurting for Monday, buuuut… she paused for a second "they also probably don’t have much to spend on pranks. It would be kind of cool though." A city wide prank put on by the officials... oh that wouldn't go over well with the tax payers.

At the mention of terrorists, Hannah leaned forward slightly, and tilted her head to get a good look at her friend “What do you mean? What terroritst?” Her questions were slow yet full of concern. What had happened in the two years she was away? The only terrorist activity she was familiar with was the Boston marathon and 911. Then again the nurses that took care of her at her previous hospital tended to either keep the television off or played movies, never the news. What am I missing? she wondered

Nearly tripping her own two feet as Hannah responded, Delilah was fighting back laughter. "Hannah...think about what you just said." She brought her hand up to her mouth to hold back but it was failing. " Hurting for Monday?" Looking over at the girl, she couldn't fight it and started to laugh so hard she had to stop walking.

Holding her gut, she tried to answer the question about the terrorist but could only wave it off as she attempted to breathe.

"I'm...surprised..." She finally managed to get out as she got her laughter under control. Standing up and brushing away the tears in her eyes, she looked back over at the other woman. "Are the strange things going on here really not in the news?"

Hannah stood up straight again, with pursed lips and furrowed eyebrows as she attempted to replay what she said a moment ago in her head… She was about to ask ‘what part?’ when Delilah blurted out ‘Monday’. “On no…” Unable to contain the laughter that was building up realizing what she said, Hannah brought one hand up bonking herself on the forehead in a ‘face-palm’ esk move. “Money… not Monday. Sorry my first day back to public school is Monday.” That was the only logical explanation she could think of as to why she’d have such an epic verbal flub. Still though… Monday… really?

There was no containing the laughter fit that bounced between the two, sides aching, tears nearly spilling from her eyes, cheeks cramping… the Lord only knows how much she missed this.

Finally able to breath, Hannah replied “They probably are, I just haven’t watched the news recently. if two years could be considered recent. "Plus we don’t have cable or internet hooked up at our house yet.” Hannah turned the corner and headed into the Pinecrest neighborhood guiding Delilah to her new home.

Following Hannah's lead between chuckles, Delilah was trying to use her signs to relax the laughter. It was still failing.

"Ah. No extra stress at the hospital but really? Your father could make it this long without TV?" Delilah cocked her head in surprise wondering what else had changed in the years.

Taking note of the turns once more, Delilah was glad the house was still pretty close. Not as close as before but not bad. "Well, anyway, some strange things have been happening in the city so please be careful if you ever find yourself alone. I still can't believe some of it myself. "
