I myself have been doing very well lately....but I find myself in the Sin of lust very often.....
I never act on such filthy sins....gratefully...however...pornography is something I am always trying to avoid. I just ask for prayer to keep my mind clean and focused....to ensure that my goals are pure that the only things on my mind are things that will lead me closer and closer to the path we all must walk.
I would be very grateful for prayer.
Been there. I realized that it was easy to destroy this sin. Prayers are okay. But what really defeats this sin is when you realize that there is no power in lust. Lust is the idea of the mind and heart that says " this is good". You must realize that if you actually think why Jesus called a harlot his Daughter, you will be able to defeat this sin easily.
It seems complicated the way I am trying to explain it... simply just remember, who you lust at, is one of God's daughter. In the end, your own mind starts saying " wait! I am not feeling lust at all". You will now say " until I am married with the one God gives me, they are my sisters."
this idea may take a while, but whenever you're at that point in about to see pornography, remember this. It will keep you straight. Try it! I cannot just say it.
