Class: **** HP: 100/100 Description: This creature is entirely covered in armoured platelets, making it very, very difficult to find a weak spot. It will also released electrical charges along its spine that become dangerous if left unchecked for too long. To neutralize this, the electrical charge points must be attacked before they literally explode and knock Hunters back outside of its blast radius. Upon defeat: Has a 100% chance of dropping Insanity remains usable for the R & D.

Gear, weapon, partner. Sherry had what she needed to get this done. More or less, hopefully. Dying was not part of the plan, ok. And she'd never admit it, but her head had hurt for at least a day after that last outing, so she was a teensy bit wary. But not too much. This was still safer than half the crap that happened to them. Which was kinda...Wow. When giant beasts weren't the worst thing you'd ever dealt with, what did that say about your life? Sherry had to smile at that. It seemed she had. Adventure, blood, nightmares, death... that one decision had changed everything. On the flip side though, she'd seen some amazing things and met some amazing people. She was still smiling when she looked to Jake. She didn't regret it one bit. Whatever her life was, she was happy. There were a dozen different reasons for her being happy, but she didn't need to count them. It was hard to count the good things in life sometimes. "You ready?" She figured she'd better say something...she was kind of staring at Jake by this point.

Giant insanity beasts may not have been the worst thing they faced, but it was the most action he'd seen in quite some time, and he supposed the closest thing he'd have to training for a real mission, which meant he really shouldn't take this for granted. But having already beaten two before (albeit the last being a close call), he couldn't help but feel a little bit confident. Perhaps that was what he lacked to resummon Chester; confidence. Maybe beating a couple more, and he'd be able to re-summon him again!
Occupied with his thoughts, he hadn't noticed Sherry staring, but when she spoke, he turned, giving a nod.
"Let's do this."
First, mounting the titan. He could do this.
A few moments later, he was on top of the titan, securing his end of the cord.
"Ready on my end!!"

Sherry returned the nod.
She then watched carefully as he did his thing, taking on end of the anchor right on up onto that beast. Now it was her turn.
The anchoring was something she knew how to do. Unfortunately, it was never easy.

So she decided to try again.
She thought she had it, for a moment, but the ground below her feet shifted. “Crap!” if she couldn't get foothold they'd get hurt.

Third time was the charm. Her footing held, and the runic anchor kicked in. A good solid hold.
“Okay!”She called to Jake. “It's tethered. Time to start beating it!”
With an luck, this guy would go down fast. Or at least they wouldn't get too beat up.

Sherry took only half a moment to switch gears. Time to keep Jake alive, if she could.
“Mind the spikes! And stay focused!” She flashed Jake a smile as she moved, hoping she could keep her end of the deal up.

They probably shouldn't be doing this for sport, but it never hurt to get a little more practice in. He looked a little concerned as Sherry fumbled a bit, but when the cord was secured on her end, he let out a sigh of relief.
"Will do!"
Pulling out the daggers, he aimed for one of the spikes.

“Good!” Sherry grinned again, but her gaze didn't linger on Jake. Jake, spikes, and a giant beast who owened the spikes. Those were the the things she had to keep track of. On top of watching her own hide. She could handle it though. They had this.

If he thought about it, he would realize Sherry's job was a lot harder than he'd have thought. Not only did she have to keep an eye in the Titan, but him too, all the while making sure that she was safe from the Titan also. As it were, all he had to do was concentrate on hitting the spikes and not falling off as the creature let out a roar. He really had to do something to make it up to Sherry, and not take defensive roles for granted.

Sherry would have argued that Jake's job was rather dangerous, more so than hers. It was why he needed her for this afterall.
Though she wouldn't turn down compensation. Nope.

Sherry deserved all the cuddles and hugs after this. And naps. He had never slept so much in his whole life, or well, but that was something he should think about when this Titan was down and they made it out of this in one piece.
And so he put more effort into the next strike, determined to get this over with quickly.

All the cuddles. And naps, especially whey they were training so hard. Surely that would help Jake with his issue. The training. The naps would help with the training, while the training helped him get to where he needed to be in order to summon Chester. Right? Right. Which was why she needed to try so hard. It would all be for nothing if Jake was electrocuted or eaten or something else just as terrible. "Spike to your right is sparking!" Warnings were just one weapon in her arsenal of defense. Or something. "And keep me updated on your shield!" Heals were another of her weapons in this. Defending Jake for: 8 HP:40 [A.V.] You are the best~ jsyk. Hearing her call out, he turned, giving a nod and redirecting his attention to that particular area. It was a shame he couldn't remember his past memories with her, considering they seemed to be in sync at the moment.
...or perhaps it was better he didn't remember, considering that a majority of them had been unpleasant. Sadly, he remembered being impaled and such. Even had the scars to show for some of them.
