Anger boiled under the hybrids skin. She wasnt sure why she was so upset, but she knew the best way to deal with her anger was to hunt dragons. The very thought made her feel alive. Battles made her feel alive. Erionda turned the hastar to the side. Even with Lanzecki and Uassae flying above in their usual formation the hybrid was still alert to every sound. Gaili had a way of sneaking up on her out here, and while she had yet to fail at killing one, they were more than capable of dealing extensive damage. Rio touched her shoulder lightly. It was starting to feel better, even if it remained somewhat sore.
Calling the hastar to a hault Erionda looked around the expansive dessert. As much as she wanted to be hunting anything other than Gaili. The expert hybrid had to admit, they gave her the most learning. She wasnt capable of defeating a Diabi or an Aeduan on her own. With a push, Erionda's feet touched the sandy ground. Her dual colored eye's blinked twice at the sand picking up in the warm wind.
It was a wonder she hadn't run into any firani or kaindri so far. Did they realize that this place was flooded with the hard to locate Gaili? Taking the lead of her hastar Erionda continued further on foot. The soudul mount while dependable in many ways, Startled easily. Erionda did not want to be on its back if it reared or bucked in fright. Especially with the injuries she harbored. She could accidentally further damage to her shoulder.
Catching movement Erionda's head turned to see Uassae coming to land near her. "Do you see anything?"
The older Drakein nodded his head turned to look behind him. "These dragons really know how to blend in out here. We woke one up after you passed by. Seems younger. You could probably kill it in no time." Uassae puffed iut his chest proudly.
Erionda smiled, giving the drakein a firm pat on his neck. Now that one had been located all she had to do was kill it. Walking forward at a swift pace, the hybrid quickly located the dragons mentioned. It was smaller then the other Gaili she had fought recently. A devious smile pulled at her lips. This oone would fall quickly by her blade.
Leaping forward, Erionda drew her blade from its protection. Her eyes shining as she dispatched of the small Gaili in quick time.
