So I have a guild called WARNING: High Voltage and what with all the craziness around Gaia it's been really hard to keep it as healthy and active as it's been in the past, so I was thinking of making a thread next month when Gaia launches its holiday event to hopefully generate more traffic.
My idea here is two-fold: - One, if you guys want me to list your guild as an affiliate in the thread I'd be willing to do so to help you guys out too. Just lemme know if you're interested.
- And two, the thread is going to be an rp thread, but will have an item giveaway to spice things up. However, I decided what would do the most good is to give away only gold shop items because every little gold sink helps. I know gold shop items aren't exactly the most eye-catching and coveted, but what I was thinking is that I could try to get my hands on some of the rarer items like Durem Depot Grab Bag and those featured in Dernier Cri! Even if people just turn around and sell them on the MP, at least the gold I spent on the items is now gold that's been taken out of circulation. I figured I'd just let you know about the idea in case it was something you ever wanted to try. A lot of inactivity can be traced back to people's frustration with the inflation issue.Posting threads during an event can be really hectic, a lot of times if they drop off the first page they get lost forever, so if anyone wants to help out, I'd really appreciate it. And I just mean help out to make it a success in general, I'm not looking for donations. ♥

guild, and I agree with your sentiments and actually like your idea.
The guild I'm in would be more than happy
to be affiliates with you and help you out in this event.
(In my guild we're actually planning a Christmas Ball event for the
RP section in our guild, so it seems timely seeing your thread and all.
Currently in our events we use gold shop items as rewards.)

This is an excellent idea! And if you would list us as an affiliate that'd be excellent, and we'd do the same!
And your item giveaway sounds like a great idea! Sorry for the long-awaiting response!
