A soft sighing sound escaped from Junjie's lips as he looked across the dark blue water, not sure what it was that he should do at the moment. He wanted to fight with the Peisio but his inability to swim really was making things a lot more complicated in that aspect, weren't they? He had to prove himself though against these dragons as he had all the others, as well as grow in power so that he would be able to protect those that he cared for. It was a careful balancing act, to grow in strength without going around reaping the orbs of too many dragons. It wasn't as though he wanted to wipe them out or anything. It was just something that he had to do he thought to himself, glancing over at the two Drakein that he was traveling with, "Any thoughts?" He finally asked of them, wondering if they would be able to help him out in this instance with suggestions about what it was that he should be doing when it came to the Peisio.
Instantly Arjan was on his feet, his little wings flapping, tail lashing, "We charge!" He growled, teeth barred, looking as though he wanted nothing more then to knock a few Peisio senseless himself. It was something that had Junjie starring for a long moment at the little Kiandri before he gave a laugh. The laugh was something that had Arjan giving a growling sound in his throat, teeth barred, "You asked for suggestions!" He said, feeling quite insulted that Junjie was laughing at him for the suggestion. He felt that it was a good one! They shouldn't be standing here like a bunch of slack jawed fools. They needed to charge forward, issue a challenge, and draw the Peisio forth from the water so that they could battle them!
It was a thought that caused Junjie to glance over at Arjan before he turned back to the water once more, "Draw them forth from the water? That... that just might work." He murmured, trying to figure out exactly how they could do that. Maybe... maybe he could go fishing for them? Tangle the dragons up with his vines, drag them forth from the depths, and then they would be forced to battle with him, right? On top of that they wouldn't have to fight in or on the water, something that would keep him from risking being drown by the dangerous dragons. Instead it would be a more fair battle if not one that would be more in his favor since the Peisio were surely used to being in the water, not on the land. He wouldn't mind having to deal with them if that was the situation, at least he would have a chance. This time he would be able to battle with them for real instead of having to hide behind someone else looking for their help. While he didn't have anything against the sailor it didn't mean that he wanted to be a weakling that hid behind others instead of helping.
"Alright, let's go and see about going Peisio fishing." He said as he set to work casting a spell, drawing forth some vines from the ground. They weren't as powerful as he'd like, not in Eowyn, but they would hopefully serve their purpose. He had no idea how difficult it might be to fish a dragon out of an ocean with a vine but he would do his best! Giving a smile as his vines burst forth from the ground he sent them into the water, letting them swish around from side to side, searching out something to tangle them around. The moment he found something the vines entangled around the target, then started to pull. At first what he had entangled was still, allowing itself to be dragged, before suddenly it was thrashing. Junjie stumbled a bit then turned to look over at Abellio, "Help me out, Abellio?" He called to the feathered Keinova who was watching the fishing battle with wide eyes.
Instantly the Keinova was at his side, adding his own Ysali powers to those of Junjie, helping him with the entangling spell. A short time later the Peisio was dragged forth from the waters, allowing them to see the big creature, and he couldn't help but to stare at it, "D-Damn... bigger then I was expecting..." He said, a look of shock on his face. How nice it would be if he knew some sort of powerful attack spells. Not that he really wanted to know them at the same time. Sure, it would help when it came to things like this when he was battling a large dragon but he didn't want to be the sort that was seen as a formidable fighter. Instead he'd much prefer to be known as a powerful and reliable healer, "Alright... well, we have our Peisio, now we just have to figure out what to do with it." He muttered to himself.
A moment after he said the words the rather displeased dragon that he'd entangled gave a great roar and came lunging at him, stopped short by the vines that it was luckily still tangled in. He gave a gasping sound before he lifted his dragon headed staff up, pointing it at the dragon, and then released another of his spells. It was a lot harder to accomplish, which was saying something since the previous spell was him trying to drag plants forth in the desert. He was able to do it though, blinding the dragon with a flash of bright light, allowing him to then step forward and end the battle with a well placed magic blast. It wasn't as powerful as if he could use a true spell but it would have to work. The dragon was soon crumbling away leaving behind nothing but a dark blue orb. He starred down at it for a moment, then smile, stepping forward to scoop it up, "This one is a pretty one." He'd had a couple in the past but this was the first Peisio orb that he'd obtained from battle. It really was a pretty one, wasn't it? Though still not nearly as special as the one he'd gotten from Arick. Then again that one was special for different reasons, wasn't it?
Tucking the orb into his pack he said, "How about we try that again? Since we proved that fishing for Peisio is actually possible I would like to do just that again." He said, giving a smile as he set about manipulating the vines that were still standing by. He would see about catching some more of the Peisio dragons if possible and if he was lucky would gather another orb or two from them.
The rest of the afternoon, as well as some of the evening, would be devoted to just that. He would cast his vines into the water in an attempt to entangle the right thing, that being a dragon. On a couple of occasions he instead pulled forth a big fish, something that the Drakein were more then happy with. The fish were handed off to Abellio and Arjan, the two of them feasting on the scaly creatures, while Junjie continued on with the task that was dragon fishing. It wasn't one of those things that he felt he would do too often but at least once wasn't bad. Not to mention that they were in no way near as scary as that big, dark dragon that Rio had taken down. Peisio felt a lot easier to deal with even if that was because he was now dealing with them on land instead of doing so in the middle of the ocean on a ship. That day had been rough since between the location and the Blood Moon none of his spells were wanting to work. At least now they were working to a point. He could only hope that meant that the Blood Moon would soon pass. He'd celebrate the moment he was able to cast his spells the way he wanted to once more.
By the time that he finally decided that it was time to call it a day he'd found that he had come out on top in the end. He had gotten himself four Peisio Orbs, several large fish, and he'd only had to retreat once when one of the dragons he dragged forth from the ocean seemed to be a bit too big and ornery for Junjie to handle. It had been much easier, as well as smarter, for him to release the creature and retreat. No matter though, four out of five was a respectable number he thought to himself, so much better then the first time he'd run across them. After tucking the last of the Peisio orbs into his pack he turned to look at the pair of Drakein who had fattened themselves up on fish, "We should be going now you two." He said, picking up one of the fish that the pair had left for him. He'd cook it up in a bit, for now they should move away from ocean, just in case, then find a place to settle down and make camp for the night, "It was a good day! Let's hope that tomorrow is just as good." He said happily as he walked along, once more flanked by his Drakein.
