Personality: Shy to outsiders, but those who know hatsumi know that she is not a quiet person around friends. She speaks her mind and does as she pleases with her time so long as her friends are with her. But as soon as she gets plopped into a room with only strangers and no friends, she immediatley shuts up and keeps quiet. She's self-conscious in a way, but she acts egotistical and brave when she can to keep other people from noticing. Over all, she is a very mature person.
Likes/Dislikes: enjoys heights and wind, dislikes being dirty or patronized by others.
Biography: Hatsumi was born and raised in a quaint neighbourhood with many calm, middle classed people leading calm, middle classed families through a calm, middle classed life. Her family was no different, and for that she was always grateful, but Hatsumi longed for the thrill and adrenaline of an exciting life where you have to fight for your food and struggle just to make it through the day. She fantasized about tragedy befalling her family, and her and her sister having to make do with whatever they could find. But these were all childish dreams that she knew were wrong and never going to happen, so she dropped them at a young age and moved on to something else more... invigorating.
Hatsumi learned to titerope walk at the age of 3, and taught herself many of the techniques used by professionals at that age. She entered many contests and won many prizes, and before long she was minourly popular in her grade for being who she was. She earned the name 'tip-toes' from the way she taps her tiny little feet across the wire, waving around umbrellas and such for the amusement of the audience. She was a popular girl for sure by this time.
Her other nickname, cloudie, was earned when she started going up on the highwire. She set up the wires as high as she could get them until she swore she could touch the clods if she jumped up a little bit. Obviously, this was not true, but her exaggeration was enough for people to laugh and nickname her for something silly she did in the past.
Talents/Abilities: Training to be a titerope walker since she was little, and as a result she is very talented at what she does.
Other: Though she feels at home on the titerope, her stunts are a little rusty, so she's been taking classes to try and sharpen up a bit.
