Leora was patrolling, if it could indeed be called that. It was more like a leisurely stroll. Her body ached, and there were dark plum colored bruises on the fair skin of her throat, a vivid reminder of were her shade had tried to choke the life out of her.

She shuddered to think of what would have happened if Ilmenite hadent happened across her when he had. That had only been a few short knights But it was much easier to spend an evening patrolling, claiming to her family cram sessions instead of staying home and attempting to explain abrasions she didn't have a safe excuse for.

So she strolled, her teddy bear grasped loosely in one hand, wondering aimlessly, letting her senses search out on the alert for any sense of another powered aura. Maybe she would turn down towards the park, it was late enough in the evening that some of the stores were starting to close down, but still early enough that most eating establishments were still open, a few people trying to catch a late meal before the hours ticked over into a new day.

She turned down another road, knowing full well that a few people gave her an odd look as she strolled past. She ignored them pointedly, far to many people clustered in groups around for her to collect energy efficiently, but at the same time not enough for her to not be noticeable in her very lacy, very ruffle outfit. And one couldn't forget the teddy bear. That made the decision for her, she continued and crossed over into the area that marked he beginning of a park.

Who knew, maybe she would catch some unsavory type in the park, thinking he was the predator instead of the pray, following after a young lace clad girl into a dark park. That would raise her spirits, after getting thoroughly throttled by her shade, she could use a pick-me-up.

Teallite wasn't the only one patrolling that evening, though within Destiny City, it was guaranteed that at some point, there was someone in their powered form lurking the streets. It was only a matter of who's paths would intersect and if a fight would break out. For Super Sailor Vespa, he was growing accustomed to running into the enemy, and while his stings were still just as venomous to himself as they were to his enemies and those around him, he could feel himself growing more and more confident with each passing battle.

Granted, he lost. A lot. Most of the time. He was usually the one that ended up having to retreat, and while he felt like a failure, he was assured that any battle he came out of alive was a victory in itself. And given the hair-raising adventures he's recently survived, he'd take it.

He had reached the park in his patrols when he felt a familiar and welcoming presence on his inner radar. There was a Negaverse officer nearby! There was no time to rejoice, however, as the smallest sliver of paranoia screamed in his ear. It wasn't a Senshi, so that meant it was likely someone coming to check on his status, and he paid little attention to rank as he followed after the aura, trying to calm his nerves. Maybe he was overthinking things... surely they'd give him a LITTLE more time to gather his quota, right? Right?

When he spotted her, he wasn't quite sure what to make of her appearance, though he had to do a double take, just to make absolutely certain that she wasn't a Senshi. No, this was definitely an officer, and Vespa paid little attention to the teddy bear she carried, as he jumped right in front of her and took a knee, as he was instructed to do by General Mica. "Sailor Vespa, reporting for duty!"

Leora paused as she felt an aura coming towards her. But not one she was truly familiar with. Which wasn't that surprising, considering she had only met a scarce few other people, and all aside from one were Negaverse officers. But it still felt much different from the one Order senshi she had met.

And it was coming closer.... Rather quickly. Her brows furrowed slightly, concentrating... no... it was definitely a chaos aura, so she continued her stroll, until someone poped out right in front of her path. That someone was definitely the owner of the other chaos aura.

And he was dressed in the most bizarre manner that Lt. Teallite had ever seen. So Bizzare that she simple blinked at him with wide pink eyes for a moment, as he took a knee an announced himself. He was like... like a mix between children's super hero, a space alien from an 80's cartoon, and futuristic traffic guard. Sailor? That just couldn't be right, for he was clearly a chaos agent. His aura radiated it.

In the end though, manners won it. If this was a trap... it was a very good one. " Hello, Vespa. ' She said, sketching out a slight curtsy. She had super old fashion parents, it was just part of her mannerisms.

Reporting for duty? With an inward sigh, watching him curiously for a brif moment, wondering if she said nothing if he would simply stay like that. It was a curious notion, but he seemed an earnest character. So she stepped forward and offered him a hand to help him stand up, opting for momentary honesty. " Pleasure to meet you Vespa, I am Lietenant Teallite, and I must confess that I have absolutely no Idea what duties you are here to report. "

Vespa knew that he wasn't necessarily the most impressive fellow to look at. In fact, he was well aware of the fact that the sight of him arose many mixed reactions within others and for what various reasons. After all, his senshi attire was rather strange, especially with the bug-eyed visor, and even outside of that, his hair and mustache was usually enough to cause people to do a double take, and he tried to fight down his ever growing and aware self conscious to address the lieutenant before him.

He wasn't sure what to make of the gesture she offered him and it shown in his expression before pushing himself back to his feet. He looked at the hand before him and refrained from touching it, fearing that by doing so, he'd overstep his boundaries, but he remained obedient and respectful, hoping she didn't think too poorly of him.

"My duties? They're to serve the officers of the Negaverse and Queen Metallia, like you, like all Corrupt senshi. I was instructed to address every superior officer with the utmost respect." Vespa said, suddenly feeling very uncertain about his approach and berating himself mentally for it. Was she knew? Did she miss the memo, or did he really overstep his boundaries? Whatever happened, Vespa knew he messed up, and he gave a flustered sigh. "I'm sorry... I think I assumed you were checking on my progress for the night?"

Teallite's brows creased into a frown as the Senshi blatantly refused to take her hand, an offer to help him stand, doing so on his own. She wasn't quite sure if it was a snub against her or some silly macho thing that often befuddled her. So she retracted the hand, sense he just kind of eyeballed it like it was a cobra, and folded her arms in front of her, listening to him babble for a moment.

A corrupt senshi huh? Well wasn't that an interesting little concept that had never even crossed her mind. The poor lad practically was throwing out buckets of uncertainty, his body language showing how very awkward he felt. Teallite toyed with the idea of playing with him, wondering just how far she could play the superior officer card, Sense that is how he seemed to view her.

He sighed, very obviously a little ruffled, and the Lieutenants lips twitched in a grin. He reminded her very much of a puppy bumbling around doing his best to make people happy, but pretty sure he had just knocked over vases and lamps in the process. The thought made her grin, so she opted to be kind. Or at least what passed for kindness from her.

" Its quite alright. " He obviously took the military aspect of the negaverse very seriously " At ease " She said, almost jokingly " I was just on patrol myself, and as far as I know it is not part of my own responsibilities to check up on yours. Though if you have anything of interest to report, you are free to do so. " She tilted her head to the side. " Your manners are acceptable, though. " She raised a hand, wagging her pointer finger at him. " Looking at an offered hand of assistance as if it has the plague could be considered as rather rude. "

Vespa might not have been the most insightful youth in Destiny City, but he could tell when he did something wrong, and he could only wonder in how many ways the lieutenant could seek to belittle or punish him for his misconduct. He chewed on the insides of his cheek and tried to remain still, and by her mannerisms, he had a distinct feeling that he overdid it with the military approach.

Which just sent all sorts of mixed signals in his brain. Her order was not ignored, however, and his shoulders relaxed and his feet spread apart slightly as he brought his hands behind his back, mimicking a stance he had seen in war videos and movies about soldiers. He wasn't sure how good his form was and he was certain that junior military corp would mock his stance, but he was at least willing to try.

His green eyes widened from behind his visor and his dread was clear to see, as he tried to explain himself to her. Only now did that tough military act drop slightly, allowing for a more natural flow of 'oh s**t, did I mess up or what' to come pouring out of his mouth. "I... I didn't mean it like that, Lieutenant! Not at all! You're not plague-ridden at all- in fact, you're quite lovely. YOUR HANDS, I mean... I..."

Vespa glanced away, too ashamed of himself and wanting to simply just disappear, as he tried to collect his thoughts and explain himself once more. "I'm sorry, I didn't take your hand because... you are my superior officer and I thought it was considered rude to do so. As a Lieutenant, you're above me and I didn't want to overstep my boundaries with that. That's all..."

As he stumbled over his words, her shoulders shook a little, a tiny tremor. Remarkably unnoticeable, but the only visible sign that she was trying ti fight down a fit of chuckles, though she was still grinning. He was practically tripping all over himself. And some some silly reason thought it rather charming, not that she would ever say so out loud. Though it did make her wonder if the poor guy had been mistreated for such simple mistakes before.

The thought worried her a little. She over all had no idea what the relationships between these so called corrupt senshi were with the rest of the negaverse. Until just now, she hadn't even known they existed.

She filed away the subject as something to pester Ilmenite about at a later time. Ooooh so many things to pester Ilmenite about.

Vespa looked away, and Teallite took the opportunity to evaluate him with a critical eye. He couldn't be to terribly old, which she supposed could explain his colt like awkwardness. Regardless, the senshi did seem to be making a genuine effort. So She willed herself to try and be a little less cold. What was that thing her mother always chastised her about being. Amicable?

So she swallowed down some playful barbs, sensing they would do more harm then good here. " Well, the general rule of thumb, is if someone offers your the assistance, such as a hand to get up, Its usually alright to accept it. " She started to continue strolling forward, patting his shoulder as she did so " So relax bumble bee, I'm not going to have you drawn and quartered or anything."

" Your welcome to join me if you wish. " She said over her shoulder, hoping her voice didn't come off as icy as it usually did.

It was hard not to feel so damned discouraged right now. Tried as he might, Vespa was floundering, as a simple hello had turned into another opportunity to make a damn fool of himself, and while he couldn't see Teallite's struggle to hold in her laughter, he wouldn't have blamed her for letting out a condescending chuckle. He just wanted to curl into a ball and hide for the remainder of the evening, but the choice wasn't available to him now. Face the consequences and all that jazz, and he'd tried to do some with some pride.

"Yes ma'am, I'll endeavor to do so in the future!" Vespa said, standing straight once more and remaining at attention, not at all thinking that it was this rigid nature that added to his already compacted level of awkwardness. He was grateful that she seemed more willing to give him a warning over a punishment, though, and had there not been visors, his relief would have been seen in his green eyes. Though, when she called him bumblebee and touched his shoulder, he instinctively stiffened and couldn't help but chime in, "Wasps. I'm the senshi of Wasps... they're different from bees."

The bug lover in him refused to be silent, but that didn't stop him from following after her. "Double up on patrols? Yes ma'am! I'll gladly accompany you and protect you with my life!"

She looked over her shoulder at him, quirking an eyebrow. " Wasps are the bald ones yes? " She eyeballed his oh so impressive pony tail " you strike me more as a bumblebee. " She couldn't help the little grin that she had, strolling slowly for a moment, letting him catch up. Not that she had been going to terribly fast with her short little legs.

She paused, brows furrowing for a moment. " If we run into trouble, keep yourself safe first. If I need help,by all means, dont be afraid to give it. But I expect you to live through any encounter that I do. Um... That's an order. Got it?" She gave her head a little resolute nod.

That's right boy, you better live. Its an order.

Though she really hoped a situation like that wouldn't come up, If on the off chance something like that did, and he ended up dead, because he had said it, she would have that hanging over her head for the rest of her life. She already had one death on her conscience, and unless it was a white moon agent and there was no way around it, she really didn't want another.

It was hard for Vespa to not want to immediately dip his hand into his knowledge well in regards to the differences between bees and wasps, and what stopped him was just how depressing the matter was for him to even think about. It had little to do with their appearances, though he acknowledge that a bumblebee was certainly more fuzzy and even cute, which was something people were calling him as of late and the Wasp senshi couldn't tell if they were being sincere or mocking. With him, safe to assume they were mocking him, and what else could he do but simply take it?

Bumblebees were useful to the ecosystem, only struck when threatened, and as Teallite mentioned, fuzzy, whereas most wasps were parasitic, lashed out even when unprovoked, and whatever beauty they held was meant to warn others away. Maybe Teallite was right and Lyssa got him confused? After all, few seemed to take him seriously as a threat, even himself, to perhaps he was meant to be the Senshi of Bumblebees?

That would certainly explain a lot, but he withheld this from the lieutenant. She didn't need to be burdened with his problems, whatever they may be. It didn't take him long to catch up, and he had to be deaf not to hear her order. Even when it confused him. "But, Lieutenant, that goes against my duty. I'm suppose to protect you, or any officer of the Negaverse, with my life if I must."

Not that Vespa was suicidal... wasps didn't die when they stung their foes. Only bees did. Now he confused himself again, but before she could think of him as being disobedient, he gave a nod, craning his neck as he did so given their height difference and not once complaining. "But if it is an direct order, then I'll follow it. If we run into trouble, I'll ensure we make it out together."

Teallite tilted her head back, watching him considerately. He had a strange look on his face, like he was arguing with himself inside his head. " It is. Survival first, hierarchy second. At least when you are dealing with me. " Her boots crunched the gravel " So Vespa, How ambitious are you feeling tonight? " She said, letting her brain mull over possibilities " With two of us, I am feeling quite confident we could take on something larger then a single civilian... take on something a bit more challenging? "

She clasped her bear behind her back, wondering if they could gather enough energy to do some serious good for the Negaverse. Maybe even drain one of those silly white moon senshi. Images of Sailor Disneya flickered through her mind, and she had to squelch the little frown it wanted to pull across her face. It would feel oh so good to teach the ditz a lesson in manners, and get some nice energy out of the deal, not that Teallite figured she would run into the girl twice in the same park.

He was warned that different Negaverse officers constructed business and treated the Corrupt senshi differently, and once again this was considered truth, as he found himself taking in a whole new set of orders that contradicted the orders he received from Mica and other officers. But as much as it confused him, he found himself rather thankful to receive these sets of order... it certainly sounded less painful and there was genuine concern from her. It was different and strange, but not an unwelcoming order, and it showed when he dropped the former title as he addressed her. "Yes, Teallite. I'll do my best to remember your orders."

Maybe it wasn't so bad, meeting different officers? Maybe there were more officers out there like Teallite, or maybe she was just one of a kind and he was fortunate to have bumped into her? Either way, he couldn't help but smile, even if her next question confused him a little. "Um, not... all that ambitious, really, but if it's an order, then I can be. I'll do my absolute best for you!"

And he absolutely meant it. He may have been a mess up and maybe he couldn't control his wasps from attacking him, but with Teallite there, he actually felt a sense of pride and confidence he seldom felt within him. Maybe with her there, he'd actually stand a chance? He still seriously doubted that his luck would change so rapidly for the better, but he was still willing to give it a chance. "Lead the way, Teallite. I think we could at least try taking on any senshi foolish enough to challenge us, right?"

Maybe they'd run into one, maybe they wouldn't. Either way, Vespa would protect her, and himself. He wouldn't disobey an order from anyone. Ever.
