Personality: Lothaire is very persistent in his efforts. Everything he puts his mind to he makes sure to follow through. When the herd started to stray from the core values his sense of pride got in the way. The things in which he most valued was that he never strayed from the core values of which makes him a Kalona. His whole life was spent to serve the values which he holds most dear. They define him. Yet he is still prideful. His pride is something he could never put down. Some could call it his weak point. When confronted with the fact on what he thinks of the lessers he wouldn't hesitate to defend them. Everyone has their advantages. They just have different advantages.
Any Future Plot Points?-A rp where he would have to have a long debate and possible fight with a loyalist.
-I would love to have a rp where he meets his mate. Though that would be later on.

Personality: Loyal;

Devoted to his kin, he shalt never run away and will strive to bring great honor to the kalona race.

The war has fallen in favor of the lesser side. The leader has dispersed the herd and all is left in utter chaos. Killian, a stallion of honor makes sure to be there for the very end of it all. Helping the kalona which have been abandoned by their leader and making sure those who are injured are capable of escaping a lessers’s attack. Killian, is indeed a devoted warrior however he will no longer follow the orders of a failure ex-leader instead he will live the rest of his days serving his kin and one day when they rise up again he too will battle once more for the glory of the kalona.

Any Future Plot Points?

1. Crossing the paths with the ex-leader:

Killian has a few words he’d like to say to him---can’t promise a happy reunion.

2. A lesser:

He meets a sweet mare while injured. She attempts to help him but he’s reluctant of her aid. He finds it near impossible to bring death upon her for her heart is much too kind and that kind of blood is not something he’d wish to shed.

3. Next Leader:

The herd is split and he tries his best to find his place with one of the herds. Though now since everything is so broken apart there’s more trouble in the way when certain kalonas try to take up leadership. He finds himself debating if the next leader is worth following.

Personality:

At the very instant Zeilvar was of the proper age to receive training from the highly respected herd protector, Claymore, a spark ignited within the depths of his being. A spark so beautiful, so vibrant that it could be only one thing, his truest self. The innocent soul of a foal melted away and was rebuilt as the soul of the warrior. Every maneuver taught to him claimed his body, as though he had been meant to do it all along. Every moment he spent in a sparring match was a moment he felt truly alive, physically and metaphorically. Adrenaline would course through his system, flooding his body with more strength and courage than he had ever dreamed possible, his blood heated so pleasantly that it was enough to make him shiver, and froth would well up in his mouth as the metallic taste of blood beckoned his tongue. This was the true birth of the Kalona called Zeilvar.

He is driven by the need to defend what is ‘right’ against what is ‘wrong’, however that may be defined. And his definition of right was to uphold the credence of purity passed from The Great Kalona, through his ancestors to himself. He would not defy the will of The Great Kalona, nor would he defy the authority of their fearsome leader Shamshir who believed most ardently in the supremacy of the Kalona breed. He would no sooner betray his herd than gore Claymore in the back with his horns, which would be equally as deplorable for Claymore had awakened him. From the chambers in his heart to the sweet marrow within his bones he believes in the ways of the Kalona.

Zeilvar sees his life in terms of confrontations and his ability to rise to a challenge. It is not only unbecoming for a Kalona to have weakness, but it is unacceptable. Zeilvar knows that the life of a Kalona is one that is drenched in the blood of the lesser’s, and that is why he parted long ago with the portion of himself that regretted taking lives. To be born a Kalona means your life will constantly be a threat or be threatened, there are no alternatives. If he is unable to rise to a challenge then he is unworthy of categorizing himself as one of Kalona’s selected creations. Thus he is unforgiving toward any who are unable to rise to a challenge which is the rationale behind his killing of Thales’ son. The weakling who challenged him only to be defeated and then mourned by his pathetic sire. A true warrior's heart must be small and hard, a principle he adheres to with the utmost devotion.

Leaders play the part of the master manipulators, the string pullers; Zeilvar is not a leader he is, in the truest definition of the word, a grunt. He prefers the thrust and cut of battle to the strategizing and tactics. He is a very action-oriented individual, meaning that he prefers to be a doer than a planner and awaits orders to be handed down with baited breath. Brawn over brains describes this stallion quite well.

He is forceful and prefers to use coercion to receive any and all information. Zeilvar is not a pleasant creature to speak to for, as stated; he is not gentle of tongue. As a Kalona there is not to be any sensitivity or softness about him, he upholds this in his mannerisms. He is brash as well as blunt and not afraid to make threats in order to get what he wants. Though, at times, his technique is more of a hindrance than a help because others usually don’t respond too well to threats. When it gets to that point he is backed into a corner and usually ends up becoming infuriated instead of attempting to think of a way out.

When he heard the Shamare Yevadah divine that they would lose the war he was stunned. Their God had turned on them, had decided they would not be victorious. His heart, though small and hard, was jolted ever so slightly. Despite knowing he charged into battle with the same courage and strength of a would be victor. He did not doubt Yevadah, she hadn’t led them astray in the past. Regardless, he was a warrior and it was his duty, win or lose, to fight with everything he had. He would not hold Kalona responsible for their loss, it was just another challenge to overcome.

Any Future Plot Points?

Remnants: The herd has fallen, Kalona has labeled them as unworthy. Even so, Claymore and Shamshir continue to draw breath, giving him hope. He will once again align with them, swearing his loyalty despite the loss. He does not consider the loss weakness for his own kin turned on them and tipped the balance via treachery, the wrong must be rectified.

Questioning: Zeilvar seeks to find the traitor of his herd, the reason for their downfall. He is forced to interrogate others in order to find him but, alas, his technique needs improvement. His threats are not working and he can get no answers. Either he must change, which is seemingly impossible, or he must team up with someone more adept at the arts of interrogation.

The Rebel Leader's Son: Seeing as Zeilvar is the killer of Thales' son, and Thales is the traitor, I would like to pursue a plot of some kind. I would have to discuss it with Zactura for more information, but I think it would be a fun thing to address.

Sensitivity: Tender, gentle, delicate, soft. None of these words are to be associated with the Kalona breed. Why then, does Claymore seem so weak around the alpha? Is the one who awakened his soul weak? Does he have a hidden sensitivity? (Only if Claymore's owner wants someone to see his weakness for his mate and address it.)

A Warrior Without a War: What is a warrior without a war? How do they feed their warrior's spirit? Is a warrior without a war a creature without a passion? The only ones to see the end of a war are those who have perished. Zeilvar first awakened to his passion when training for battle, but without a battle to train for what will he do? Where will he direct his aggression? What can make him feel truly alive once more? I would like to develop a series of plots to answer these questions, especially, what is a warrior without a war?

Unrest: The traitors are his enemy, his herd has been shattered, he is hated by those in the Kawani lands, and is surrounded by lesser's. The war may not be as far from him as he initially believed, for every day he remains in the lands they desired to conquer is a danger to him. His head is still sought after, and his departure from these lands as well. This will likely give rise to multiple plots about Zeilvar adjusting to his new life, and having to live among those he truly despises.

There is Always Someone Better: Zeilvar sees his life through confrontations and his ability to rise to a challenge. If he were ever defeated in a challenge it would be a major blow to his psyche. I want him to learn that, regardless of what he has been taught, there is always someone better out there. I want to see what this would do to him.

Personality: Murgoth is a fighter, through and through, and just about as cruel a kalona as you're ever likely to come across. He shows no pity or mercy for those too weak to stand against him but has been known to lose interest in victims who give up too easily. His pleasure in the chase and the hunt is in having his prey fight back -- there's no real sport if all they do is cower and hide. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean he'll spare them..

So why did he turn on the kalona herd? It had been such a wonderful bloodbath, and they may even have succeeded if the Lieutenant hadn't staged that little coup.

Well, there's one thing to be said about a real Kalona -- don't trust them. Murgoth isn't really a liar, per say, and often enjoys twisting the truth to his whims, but when the rally had been made Murgoth thought that, surely, there could be no better opponent than one of his own kind. He'd grown weary slaughtering the weak kawani soquili. The opportunity for a real fight has spurred him to turn his fangs viciously upon his own kind.

Yet there's a sort of playfulness to him, too -- if one can consider a sadistic psychopath to be such. He enjoys toying with his victims and even, sometimes, breaking them and keeping them for awhile as pets. When he tires of them it's usually easier to just kill them, but sometimes he might let them go out of curiosity to see what they might do.
Any Future Plot Points?
- This would be my first Soq, so I'd REALLY love to be able to RP a character here c:
- I really got into the story of this while entering the other RP contest, so I'd love to be able to interract with some of the other Kalona winners if possible.
- What could be really interesting is if Murgoth managed to form his own little group of followers, maybe even a few 'victims'. I also wouldn't be opposed to seeing him grow somewhat genuinely affectionate toward another Soq, whether they be Kalona or Kawani, though the romance would be twisted and hardly 'soft and cuddly'.
- I mostly enjoy the added darkness that the Kalona bring to the table. Soft and fluffy stuff is all nice and good, but sometimes a bit of grit is a lot of fun, too. If I win I know I'd have tons of fun plotting and playing with him!

Personality: Lucien... Is not the conventional sort. When he joined the Herd, it was to please himself. Indulgent, self-serving, and greedy, Lucien is not the kindest stallion, not at all generous or kind. He sees no issue killing anything to devour it if it suits him; he sees absolutely no issue in using Lessers to satisfy himself-- or his own kind. However, he is not rabid like a Skinwalker, but calm, calculating, and manipulative. He says the words he wants you to hear, shows you the Lucien he wants you to see, and plays himself as a kinder, calmer Kalona until his use is over. As a warrior, he took pride in skill and conquest, seeing no issue in killing to sate his need for hunger, to feed. He values others like him, and values pleasures of the flesh opulently.
Any Future Plot Points? Lucien... would take a Kalona lady and call her his mate... But really he'd be playing the ladies, and males. While he will be less likely to befriend lessers he has no problems with using them for food or other pleasures. He's a creature of indulgence and self-fulfillment, feeding his own greed and pride first. He /may/ join a herd or may /not/-- though he would be fun to see play off with a completely innocent Soquili-- or another conniving, manipulative Soq. It would also be fun to see him fight a Skinwalker sometime-- he thinks of them as vile and disfigured.

Personality:

Loyal... to a point - From a young age she understood that it was her duty to fight for the herd, to die for the herd. That as a kalona she was to uphold the beliefs that kalona were to be feared and were above all else, and that if any were to disagree they were to be taken down. She also knew, while still very young, that she did not wholly agree with the alpha and protector. As she has aged and witnessed many a senseless battle and needless death her loyalties to the herd have weakened. Nemain has always been one to give her loyalty to the causes and those she believes are deserving of it, unless she sees little to no point and does not believe, then her loyalties are soon severed.

Conflicted - The herd is all Nemain has ever known, raised by her grandfather from a very young age, her parents the victims of a skirmish between the herd and a herd of lessers. Her grandfather taught her much, a staunch believer in the supremacy of kalona with a general disdain for lessers, though not quite the savage hate of some. The death of her parents sowed the seeds of doubt in her mind, she began to question her loyalties to the alpha and protector and their decisions. The knowledge of a building coup piqued her interests. On the one hoof she felt duty bound to tell the alpha, but on the other she felt a certain tug, a pull towards their cause. But this was her herd, she could not betray her herd, betray the alpha. Yet with the death of her grandfather during one of the battles between the kawani, she now knew what she was to do. Rebel.

Proud - Nemain is proud of what she is, of being kalona. She knows that they are an impressive race to be admired, to be feared. Though she does not hold the same disdain for the lessers as others in her herd did. In truth she shows only the barest of interest in them, paying them little mind. The outright hatred some bore for the lessers, as well as the lengths they would go to destroy them baffled her. After all, they often had no prior conflict. So why the needless chaos? To spread fear into the hearts of all with the mere mention of kalona? There were other ways to achieve that.

Calculative, calm, yet vicious - Nemain is not the easily angered sort, rather she is one to keep a level head in battle or in an argument. She feels blind rage often leads you to a disadvantage, or worse. A calculative mare who tends to assess a situation before choosing to dive in, finding ways to twist it in her favor and make an enemy stumble into her trap. In battle, and sometimes out of, Nemain exhibits a cool savagery and a collected viciousness, something you'd be wise not to be on the receiving end of.

Any Future Plot Points?

Ghosts of A Herd Past - Perhaps Nemain runs into members of her old herd, be it fellow rebels or those still devoted to the ex-alpha. An interesting reunion would ensue, be it a welcoming one, or one far more deadly.

You Have My Interest - While traveling the Kawani lands Nemain comes across a lesser that somehow grabs her interest, much to her surprise. For the good or for the worse, remains to be seen.
