Erionda felt the cool breeze of the Aisko's frozen land on her face. Eowyn had become intolerable to her once again. In an attempt to keep herself from collapsing at the very thought of moving Erionda had returned to Aisko. She wasn't in a great hunting mood, even though she was working on the house. All she wanted to do was explore the world around her home. Her mind wondering if it was possible to have the same kind of protection here as she did Eowyn.

On the boiling hot continent of war, Erionda had managed to kill nine of the Kiandri dragons in a single storm. All because they had gone in for the kill on her small hatchling, Lanzecki. They had deemed her the nightmare. She liked that term, and loved that they kept a safe distance from her home. Though she had to remind them once in a while she wasn't a myth. She silently wondered what had happened to the one small Kiandri that had escaped her blade that day. Feet crunched softly in the snow as she continued to map out the territory. To learn every roll in the land every mountain.

Her new home was guarded on two sides by immense mountains. One between her home and the vortex. It stretched around behind the home protecting it from anyone who came from the hot land of Eowyn. In Rio's mind this was the perfect place to hunker down. There were no towns but she had come across a home or two in her travels. They too belonged to Dovaa, though no one resided in the homes when she had checked. Either away for extended times or had not lived there for some time. Erionda wasn't sure which was the right answer but she was satisfied to know they weren't close enough to cause her or her mate any trouble.

She had told Kilian she would be working on the house again, and had taken one of her Hastar and both Drakein with her. While they rested in the barn protecting them from the storms the brew around them. Erionda wandered the frozen land silently. Pausing at a strange movement ahead. Her eyebrows twitched, her hand drawing her sword slowly and quietly. Anything that moved in this land was dangerous. Nothing was of a calm mind here. Erionda figured it was a good thing. Only the battle hardened warriors would dare step foot here. She couldn't dream of any normal Magescian even trying without a good reason.

Narrowing her eyes to focus on the creature in the distance Erionda felt adrenalin pump into her. That was an Aiskala. While they weren't very strong creatures. Erionda knew she could take one down without much of a fuss. Rolling her shoulders happily Erionda started walking forward. Her face and stance unchanging as the Dragon caught sight of her walking towards it. The hybrid could feel the wind pick up around her. Could feel the ice water crystals hit her face. The snow had little impact on her. She too was an Aiskala. No storm it attempted to throw her way would detour her from the attack.

Raising her blade Erionda smiled when it roared, understanding that she wasn't susceptible to the storm it was trying to brew. The white dragon lunged forward. Pouncing through large drifts of snow as they formed, it's wings helping it to glide over the frozen land. Erionda sliced out at it. Her sword nicking it in the side. Enraged it turned to attack her again. It's legs clawing out in her direction. Trying to attack again, Erionda stumbled as the ground below her shifted again. Cursing Erionda spun to find she was standing on the wing of another Aiskala.

Punching downward Erionda formed ice to trap the dragon's wing in place. She wasn't going to get flicked off into the air! Both dragons screamed, their muzzled aimed to crunch her in their teeth. Ducking Erionda was shocked to hear the muffled cry of a dying dragon. Blinking a few times to remove the snowflakes from her eyelashes her mouth fell open. The dragon she was standing on had been killed by the other in an attempt to get to her.

Looking up in time to see the second Aiskala's tail aim down for her, Erionda was able to roll to the side. The tail landing in the snow caused waves of the frozen white particles to cover her. Coughing Erionda tried to dig out of the mess. Her arm catching in the mouth of the living Aiskala. Erionda screamed at the searing pain. Using her other arm to inflict damage to the dragons eyes. Another Aiskala orb to add to her collection. Falling to the ground Erionda grumbled. At least falling on the snow was softer than landing on rocks.
