With the last skirmish over, the group took some time to rest before they had to continue on. Once the two new companions joined them, making up for Wallace staying behind the help to village, their party was complete.
Kieran, the knight, part of Learania's armed forces who has taken part in both missions to apprehend the Necromancer.
Aruna, the 'cleric', who works at the Hostess Club as a waitress and has also taken part in both missions to apprehend to Necromancer.
Alex, the archer, captain in the armed forces who had to face the reanimation of the man he replaced in the last mission.
Sunil, the cat, who is still a cat and does cat things and I am disappoint that he didn't land on one of the trap spaces last game that would have caused him to fall in the water and get swept down river because omg that would have been funny as hell.
Clara, the myrmidon, member of Abel's mercenary company whose village was allowed to be destroyed and has decided to join and help put an end to this.
Annis, the thief, also a member of Abel's mercenary company who was in the next village over on a job and heard what was going on and decided to help out.
Ganon, the bard, bouncer of the Hostess club and Aruna's The Bomb Diggity, who was wandering around as he tends to do and so happened to also be in the next village over.
These seven individuals stand together before the mouth of the cave and await word from guild vice captain Rath, the knight, who took it upon himself to take part in this campaign personally for some reason.
"Our target awaits us within. There is nowhere else he could have gone to. We have him trapped. Now all we need to do is go in after him." He narrows his eyes at the opening of the cave. "We know already how dangerous he is. We aim to take him alive, but if he resists... you have permission to use lethal force. That's all there is to say. Let's go." The group proceeds into the cave in the order of Sunil, Aruna, Rath, Annis, Kieran, Clara, Alex, and finally Ganon taking up the rear.
Inside the mountains, darkness abounds and the group hasn't a torch among them. Those with the ability to move farther than others have to cope with their enclosed surroundings. Thankfully, the sharp eyes of some of their team come in handy to lead them deeper and deeper. They continue on until finally, they spot some light up ahead. The group hurries out into the area where they are met with heat hitting their bodies. Beside them are stone walls, ancient by the looks of them. The chamber was clearly constructed, or at least parts of it. The group proceeds with caution as they venture into the lighted area inside the mountain.
Notes: As always, I make mistakes when tiling maps. You need to be on space 20 to interact with the door or broken wall on space 24. However, you need to be on space 42, where the Axe Armorknight is, in order to interact with the door or broken wall on the same space. Also, if you are on space 19, you cannot attack the Lance Armorknight with melee, only with range. Those two spaces, while adjacent, are on two different elevations. And lastly, this is an indoor map, so those with tantivy use the six-sided die. I think that's it!

Rath takes a moment to assess his senses. The heat begins to slowly cause sweat to form on his brow and the air reeks of death. He knows now that they are close...
He trots casually like a pimp nomad onto space 1 and trades his mine to Aruna so that he has inventory space.
As the vice captain gets RNG screwed first turn and stops on space one...
...he finds an Antitoxin!
This may come in handy.
Annis rests a hand against one of her knives in its holster before stepping towards the mouth of the cave. "Eugh. Smells like eggy farts." She sighed, then managed a little smile. "Well, let's get this over with, anyway. See no reason why I shouldn't help Ganon out again."
With that, she casually fluttered in to Tile 2. Can't go too quickly through unfamiliar territory.

Seeing how everyone started to move further into the cave, Alex followed suit and took his first step.
Taking a couple steps foward, Alex stopped at space 1
"Let's get this over with quickly, I don't like the air in this place."
Ganon had well and roped himself into this, but while he normally wasn't one to rush into battle, Aruna was heavily involved already, and he couldn't in good conscience stand by when he could assist with the apprehension of this nefarious necromancer. He took a deep breath, and slowly began strumming out a tune to give his allies inspiration. His own music seemed to echo on itself, creating chords and harmonics a single guitarist should not have been able to perform as he wove the elder magics of bardic performance into his song, echoing himself.
He stepped onto tile 2 calmly, flicking out his tongue to taste the brimstone on the air. "Well. Gotta give him credit, he broke the mold by not leading us to some creepy crypt. This seems more like a demon-summoner sort of place, but..." He shot Annis a grin, flicking his tail sharply to snap in time with his music, and wove her shape into the song, his music wrapping around her as, as gratitude for her assistance in tracking down his girlfriend, he bolstered her strength, offering her some solace against the heat so that she could continue moving.
"You okay, Aruna?" he added, looking her way with a soft smile when he was done.
[In case it wasn't clear, Ganon did a standard Performance for Annis.]
Annis laughed softly, idly removing one of her knives to spin and twirl it across her fingers. "Certainly better visibility than a crypt," she commented back, taking in a deep, relaxed breath as Ganon's music caressed her form, breathing energy into the muscles of her legs. "I figure I should look around to see if he's got anything hiding, anything he don't want us to find or anything valuable. You and Aruna wanna stick with?"
With that, Annis stretched her wings, folding them against her back again before darting forward to tile 5.

Annis tried not to dwell on why Kieran was staring so intently at her completely-covered chest. Seemed pretty obvious, so unless the boy had laser vision, wasn't like he was going to get much out of it.
"Let's keep moving, Ganon," she called to the hgi-val before moving up to tile 4. She passed the Antitoxin off to Alex with a little wink, tossing one of her knives idly in the other hand before catching it by the hilt. "We need everyone in top shape, especially our archers."
Kieran rides to space 11 clapping rath on the back as he passes. "That was all you sir!"
"and this one is mine!" he yells swinging at revvy 10+7= 17 damage
and then cantos back to space 7 after things get a little heated "Ill bet that looked impressive!" he cries as his hair is set afire for the next 5 turns without him noticing.
As Kieran stops on space eleven before cantoing away...
...he is burned by the hot rocks!
He takes 5 damage and is burned.
Clara moves to Space 4.
She then uses the Second Seal to Reclass to Wyvern Rider.
(Seriously I'm starting to get FE4 vibes here.)

"Why thank you," he thanked Annis. Alex took a deep breath tried to shake off the poison feel and pressed on.
Giving himself a little push, Alex managed to walk all the way to space 5 before taking a break.
"And I'll take that if you don't mind," the captain said towards Rath as they traded for the long bow
Eyeing the risen that Kieran had attacked, Alex prepares to attack

As Alex stops on space five after attacking...
...poisonous gas spurts out from a hole in the wall!
he takes 5 damage and his poison is reset.
As he looks down at the ground...
...he also finds the dropped Arms Scroll!
|o/ Ganon leapt forward, continuing to play as he darted around jets of poison, leaping easily over them to space 4. He strummed roughly, seeing that Alex had been offered an antivenom, and nodded. "Alright, keep moving, man! You don't want to be trapped there," Ganon called, using his music to manipulate the air around Alex, creating a path for him to get out of the poison trap.
[Alex's turn!]
Alex nods after Ganon plays his guitar which reinvigorated the archer once more. "I could get use to this amount help," he said towards the bard before moving again.
Alex moves back towards space 5
Alex then uses his antitoxin to get rid of the poison status.

Sunil had a very unamused face as kept some distance between himself and Mr. Flaming Hair (seriously, how did this guy not notice it?). After taking an attack from the Revenant, the cat shrugged off the damage.
"You call that a hit? Lemme show you how it's down, Revvy."
Sunil strikes for 10+2 = 12 Damage!
"Not as good as it could have been, but I can't help it. Mr. Flaming Knight here is getting too close for comfort..."
Annis smirks up at Rath, gripping her knife tighter in her hand. "You got it, boss." She hurried past him, using her wings to propel her. "And the name's Annis!" She called over her shoulder as she flew forward to tile 7 with Kieran and Sunil. "Hey, boys!"
