Stumbling forward on the sand Erionda froze. Today wasn't going according to plan. Even the Hastar on Eowyn didn't seem to want to be tamed. Grinding her teeth Erionda shifted to take a seat in the sand. She wasn't worried about something popping out at her. There were no rocks for miles so she couldn't see any Gaili, and Kiandri knew better than to take her on. Stretching her sore limbs Erionda extended her legs out. Hoping that she could cool off faster if she were more spread out instead of hunched together. Groaning she lifted a hand to her eyes, trying to protect them from the harsh light. Morning had come a while ago, and the day had only really started. Erionda sighed, it was only a matter of time before she had the luck to stumble across anything in the desert. And she liked it that way.

Since the medal ceremony, Erionda had found less and less people came to hunt her. Part of her wondered if it was because she had faced something so fearsome. Or if it was because she had defeated so many that had come her way that they no longer even tried to attack her. She sat there entertaining the idea of wandering into town with a cloak on just to see what people said of her. To see if the posters were still up all over the port. It wasn't like she hadn't been traveling there quite a bit lately. Catching a boat between Eowyn and Aisko had become a weekly thing. So much construction was underway on the new house.

Uncapping the water flask from her hip Erionda began slowly sipping at the water. She could feel the liquid cooled from her magic race down her throat and into her stomach. Her eyes closed with pleasure. Three droplets of water splashed against the hot sand. Causing the ground under the hybrid to rumble.

"Not again." Erionda cursed. She had already killed three in the course of the morning. While noon was approaching quickly, Erionda also found her body exhausting much quicker now with the sun gaining height over her. Rolling to her feet, Erionda swiveled around. Her breath caught in her throat. She was nose to nose with another Gaili.

Erionda's arm shot up to shield her from the incoming attack. The blow hit her hard, knocking her towards the ground with tremendous force. Digging her heals into the sand Erionda scrambled backwards. Her sword gripped in her other hand. The blow was painful against her shoulder, even though she hadn't heard it crack. Erionda was sure that after a second blow for the day it wouldn't hold up to a third or fourth. The dragon moved just as quickly after her. Rage filled it's eyes. Erionda huffed, they were all blood thirsty heathens. Arms moved behind the hybrid as she shifted her body. Her back arching as her head fell towards the ground. Her legs kicking up into the air. Connecting with the dragons jaw as she attempted to flip onto her feet.

She was successful in landing with a lot of effort but in also making the dragon even angrier. Panting at the effort Erionda spun on her heals. Running along the now scorching sand of the Malro Desert. Skidding to a halt near a long scar in the sand. The Gaili was tearing after her with such speed. It probably hadn't seen the scar stretching out behind her. Biting her lower lip as she looked back towards the deep ravine Erionda looked back towards the Dragon. It would be close. Uncomfortably so, but perhaps luck would be on her side. Running towards the dragon Erionda turned before she could collide with the beast. Her feet skidding in the sand leaving long trails behind them. Swallowing a lump in her throat Erionda corrected her direction and started back towards the ravine. Her right foot hitting the edge, her body pulsing into a leap. Her wings burst from her back to carry her over.

She had miscalculated the landing. Her ankle twisting her around. She could see the dragon leaping after her. Pushing all her power into her arm Erionda threw her sword forward. The sharp point digging into the dragons belly. Injuring it turning it to dust. Falling backwards her arms and hair landing wildly at her side. Her sword landing a few feet to her right with an orb rolling another foot further. Heavy breaths pushed their way out. She wasn't sure she would have been able to survive the attack and here she was. Alive!
