The herd was drifting ever since her Father had gone missing those months ago. Her Mother, Tiamat was doing the best to keep everyone’s spirits up but in all truth everyone felt despair. Their faithful King was gone…forever, leaving behind his mate and only daughter. So now Parvati kept escaping from depths of their caverned kingdom in search of friends to help aide her home and family. Each day she would travel a bit farther than the previous day. Sometimes she would even spend days away from the mountains that protected her friends and family. The young mare felt a responsibility to care for everyone inside the herd. She would put them all before herself and exactly why she was doing this. So far she hadn’t come across anyone. Not even those two Trolls. How far away was the herd from everyone else? It was probably a good thing they were so hidden, but also irritating and annoying when she needed help the most now. A heavy sigh escaped from her vocals as she rested with her side leaning against an old oak tree. Her legs ached and her stomach rumbled. She couldn’t remember that last time she ate. She had breakfast but that was so long ago. The young mare lifted her head and looked around. Perhaps there were some clovers growing somewhere nearby. She past a quiet stream not too long ago, but she didn’t want to go backwards…she needed to push on. “This way we’ll go then,” she said to herself as she pushed herself off from the tree and started walking again.

User ImageHer massive wings spread wide as she soared over her territory, she could sense another presence at it's edge. As Lazy as she was often when it came to lessers the presence she felt was too powerful to be a lesser another of dragonkind perhaps? It was a threat and to be dealt with. bright jade eyes scanned the ground as she circled overhead, hearing wolves running beneath her her attention momentarily turned to subsistence. She grinned revealing sharp teeth angling her wings to swoop down on the pack predator. Her claws spread wide landing heavily on one of the unsuspecting wolves, the wind having been in her favour.

The other wolves froze for a minute Looking dangerously at the dragoness that had come from the sky, Tyronica roared, causing the wolves to yelp and run off. Claws still tightly in the back her own surprised kill.

"Mm," she grinned licking her lips finally lifting a bloody claw before fixing her wings in their usual position. Before hungrily starting to devour the poor creature she had landed on. She'd get airborne again as soon as she was finished filling her belly. The food here wasn't as tasty unfortunately, and she was too hungry to kick ut,...

Parvati’s mind kept wandering the deeper she ventured into the sparse woodlands. She wondered if it was such a good idea to have left her home in search of help rather than helping her Mother keep everyone’s spirits high. What was the Princess’s duty and role in all of this horrible mess? She wanted to help out the best she could and seeking help seemed to be important, but she didn’t want her Mother to think she was just abandoning her. Would her fellow herd mates be safe while their Princess was away? A light chuckle escaped from the mare’s vocals. Of course, she told herself proudly. Tiamat was doing an excellent job at making sure everyone was safe and fed. But she wondered how long the herd could live with the bitter cold winter almost arriving. Their territory would be covered in freezing snow. No more lush berries and the trees would be bare of leaves, revealing the mountains even more. Where was the help? How come no one was…

She paused. There was a silence lingering over the woodlands. The birds couldn’t be heard chirping anymore. Parvati was sure the wind even stopped.

She lifted her head with nostrils flaring. A familiar scent could be easily recognized…blood. Blood and flesh. A kill had been made somewhere in the nearby distance. She was curious to know whom the predator was. She quickly glanced over her shoulder. The mountains of her home were far away in the distance but still…the thought of the danger that lurked in these woods worried her. She would have to eliminate whatever was hunting. She breathed in deeply with alert eyes as she continued on the path.

Raising her head from her bloody meal the dragon could sense the other presence approaching. So it as here for her? She snarled, as she licked her face clean of blood, not that you could easily tell with her crimson scales. Tyronica headed forward and smacked what was left of the corpse into the bush some scavenger would find and finish it. There was more than enough food here, she could take whatever she wanted.

Spreading her wings she quickly took off again with powerful flaps. This was the most active she'd been in a long time, it was a pain, she grumbled. With the least amount of effort she hoped to remove this intruder from her land.

Tyronica finally saw a white draconic form beneath her, how dare that dragon enter her territory had she no concept of territory? Were all the dragons in this world like that? how irritating. She'd have to teach this one a lesson. With that thought Tyronica began to descend in a dive only opening her big wings close enough to the ground to right her as she landed hard in front of Parvati.

"What, are you doing here?" her jade eyes flaring angrily. No other dragon could come into her territory without leaving unscathed. She would be certain to enforce that fact here as well.

Her jaw dropped and the young mare remained quite still as she looked at the other femme. Of course Parvati didn’t think she’d come across anyone for some miles so this meeting was completely unexpected, even more so that it was another dragon kin. She closed her mouth and remained her posture to be sturdy and polite. Even though this other dragon had quite the attitude that didn’t mean Parvati could slack. After all she didn’t want to become someone else’s lunch or a little meal time snack. Her upper lip curved into a courteous smile and she nodded her head. “I take it you’re the one that recently made a kill?” she asked cocking an eyebrow as she remembered the smell of blood not too long ago. “I’m just simply passing by,” she answered and figured this female probably wouldn’t help her herd anyways---not that she would want her help considering her appearance, but Parvati knew that she shouldn’t jump to conclusions. Maybe this dragon-kin wasn’t evil. Perhaps she was just having an off day. “Can you tell me where I am? Seems I’ve traveled a bit farther than hesitated,” she asked the red femme.

Tyronica snorted, what a pretty little thing she's caught by surprise, the other was pure white with what looked like blue scales with horns and a tail that she didn't recognize among dragon kin yet she talked like a metallic. Ick, just the thought of one of those goody two clawed dragons made her angry. They were always causing her kind trouble, going out and killing them, the chromatics... Even those who slumbered. Especially the golds! The reds were the strongest of the Chromatics, they were able to hold their own even against the golds, Tyronica didn't like the girl one bit.

The mare bared her razor sharp teeth at the intruder. Just passing through Tyronica scoffed, no one just passes through she'd been certain to mark her territory and this mare didn't look like she had any sort of tribute to give her for 'safe' passage through.

"Not to bright are you?" she hissed smoke coming from her mouth green eyes glowing menacingly. Reds when they weren't lazy were the most territorial of the breeds "only those whom give me tribute are allowed to travel safely through my territory, you don't look like you have such a thing." she flexed her large wings. "So you either get out or you get hurt." she warned coldly. Tyronica didn't really care that this child was dragon, if she made allowances for one race there would be a precedence for them all.
