It was highly embarrassing and humiliating that he has fallen asleep in waiting for a Ysali to come to him. He had stayed in that nice, shady area for it felt so nice and comfortable. When he woke up, he saw the tracks of a Ysali dragon had actually walked up to him in curiosity of the stranger. Takeo just wanted to smack his head against a tree just to get the embarrassment out of his memory. "Stupid, stupid, stupid . . ." Instead, he is just mentally smacking himself as he walks around in the forest to think of another plan. The ninja can't go home now after what happened. His family can never know what happened for he might be disowned from the family as a failure. And he didn't want that at all.
He thought of another plan of what he has been trained for doing: trapping. He will make a trap to capture a ysali and then he will strike. It sounded good and so the ninja went to work of gathering all the vines he can get his hands one. His time was then spent on sitting on the ground and weaving the vines together in making the large net that will be at least big enough for the beast. The vines was then tossed up and looped over a branch to prepare the trap. It was camouflage with leaves and it was ready. The ninja lay in wait with the arrival of the Ysali dragon to come up to the trap. It was a while, some few hours, until finally a small dragon showed up and Takeo was lying in wait until it was just in position. With a flint knife he made of a sharpen rock, he cut the vine and it had snagged on to the dragon! Successful capture!
The ninja was proud with his work that he was able to capture the dragon. He was celebrating in his mind, but the celebration was over when he saw the Ysali . . . eating, the vines of the his net. ". . . no way . . ." The young apprentice didn't even thought it was possible for it to actually eat the net but there it was just chomping a big hole and it slipped right through and continued on its way after having a full meal. "Damn it, I'm going to be out here forever . . ." And her certainly might be out there forever too . . .
