 Squad Four Captain: Jisaku MorimotoA Senkaimon opened within the Shinigami R&D Bureau. Jisaku Morimoto staggered out, clutching the battered and bloody Gatomaru by the collar of his robe. The young Captain's breathing is ragged and heavy. "Ayumi-chan? Anyone?""I'll take that off your hands."Jisaku turned around to see a person wearing what appeared to be a white hazmat suit, complete with breathing mask. And to his surprise, that person was floating. "...Hotaru?""People are so paranoid around here. The nerve of them, sticking me in such a ridiculous getup. I can hardly move in this."

Squad 4 Lieutenant~ A few lab techs were huddled around a counter full of beakers and lab tech made to examine the disease or anything microscopic. They all were wearing protective gear and quarintined the lab so the disease would not get out into the gotei.
Ayumi was overseeing all efforts to make the cure here the Lieutenant looking into a microscope like device to see the pathogen she was working on. "The pathogen seems to be accepting the chemicals .. can you tell me how things are going with test group 2?" asked Ayumi to squad twelve members who were helping her monitor the disease and the potential cures for it.
"Scrapped .. didnt stand a chance just like the last group but still theres progress" said a squad 12 member.
"Membrane too weak? or just not trying" asked Ayumi quietly.
"Both, for the most part .. we need more time with this to be honest, " said a squad twelve member once again..(pretend she's busy lol)

Squad Four Captain: Jisaku MorimotoJisaku turned to the sound of voices discussing something about pathogens. "Ayumi?" He handed Gatomaru to Hotaru, who cradled him like a newborn kitten, before they both followed the voices and found Ayumi with a group of Squad 12 NPCs, all wearing protective gear. "Am I interrupting anything?"

Squad 4 Lieutenant~ With Jisaku here Ayumi turned around and walked on upto him with a look to Hotaru and Gato then back to Jisaku, somewhat sensing Sani. With a worried look she was a little quiet as things in Osaka kept reading up as bad news on this end so she stood there for a second seeing Gato in the state he is in. Sighing heavily she walked on over clutching Jisaku's captain's haori with her little hands and embraced him by resting her head on his chest. Burying her face slightly she was a little scared she lost him since they all almost died today, one of them being gone already, Sani having died.
"I thought I lost you both" she said quietly as she kept embracing Jisaku before looking up and backing up a little to keep up appearances with ranks here, eyes a little watery. "Place .. Gato with Isana over there" she said getting back to work suddenly as Isana was revealed to be laying in a pod nearby sleeping, just like Gato not waking up. "Isana Kuchiki stopped responding and wont wake up .. we lost three more of the infected so far .. dropping like flies .. Lieutenant Korogame has been working on a pathogen that seems to naturally resist the Disease but .. we need to alter it. Lieutenant Korogame also is trying to keep Miss Kuchiki alive .. we dont want the Kuchiki clan angry over loosing someone like Isana." said a squad 12 member nearby.
"What happened at Osaka .. " asked Ayumi a little quiet and worried over her friends..

Squad Four Captain: Jisaku MorimotoWhen Ayumi clutched his haori, Jisaku put his hands on her back before crouching down to properly embrace her. She may feel something odd inside Jisaku's robes. "I'm sorry I made you worry."Without a word, Hotaru placed Gatomaru in a pod similar to Isana's. The feline looked peaceful in his comatose state, if you overlook the blood caked on his fur. Meanwhile, Jisaku pulled up a chair and sat down as the Squad 12 NPC explained the situation. They have been working on a pathogen that would naturally resist the disease. However, it still needed work. The other "survivors" had been dropping like flies. Jisaku took off his glasses and ran a hand through his messy hair before looking at Ayumi again. "Sigh...Where do I even begin? First of all, I'm sure you know, but Sanijishi is dead. She had just been pushing herself for too long...and her regenerating ability just stopped working. All the wounds she accumulated opened up all at once and..." He briefly looked back at Gatomaru's pod. "Also, it turned out that Gato-san's barrier was, in fact, keeping something...and someone out of Osaka. There was this yellowish gas that flowed in and combusted like crazy when it touched Jasmine-san's flames. I'm not sure, but I think that's where the disease is coming from. Also, there was another person there, a big guy, wearing all black and a gas mask. There were other people with him too. They looked like Soul Reapers, but they looked way old and...battle worn, I think. Rei-san, Jasmine-san, and Kaz-kun are the only ones down there fighting them.""That reminds me." Jisaku pointed to the Squad 12 NPC from earlier. "Do me a favor and send out an alert. Contact anyone who is available and send them to Osaka to help them out. Also, provide them with whatever gas masks you've got."A Samurai ((Anything I've forgotten?))

Squad 4 Lieutenant~ With everyone there looking at Jisaku tell whats been happening Ayumi was in shock that Sani appeared, then died so she looked down wondering what on earth was doing this. Squad 12 members ran off and began setting up messages and alerts to other squads to go in and handle things as Squad four's ranking members remained here for now. "We can pull up records on whats going on but .. we need to ID at least one of them and-" said Ayumi quietly as a reading went off in Karakura of illegal Shinigami activity in the area of the suburbs. "Theres a large concentration of Patrols in the Karakura area .. Who sent all those patrols? Thats way too many Shinigami for a human population." said a squad 12 member nearby making Ayumi perk up slightly so she walked off and looked to Jisaku.
"Tell everyone we need an ID on at least one of them, we can try and see who is leading them. It could be a rogue squad and its captain but we are all accounted for .. Jisaku, do you think you can go to Karakura to help ID one, take Chiyo .. I'll try to get ahold of the others in Osaka to try and ID them or go to Karakura when they are done there" she said at a little pace since she was a bit worried for the safety of the humans. IDing one of them was going to help, it wouldnt hurt to see who was doing all of this if all of them were Shinigami, a Lieutenant was indeed in Karakura but who was the captain she was following?

Squad Four Captain: Jisaku MorimotoJisaku jumped out of the chair when the readings in Karakura Town went off. "How the heck did we miss that?" He then looked over at Ayumi as she barked out orders and was slightly bowled over by how authoritative, how professional she was in this place. "Yes, of course I can. Hotaru, you can take a break now.""Anything to get out of this stuffy suit." The visor glowed green before the whole suit slumped on the floor, signifying that the spirit had disappeared into the sword. Jisaku turned around to open a senkaimon, but paused and turned back. "Oh. There's one more thing." Jisaku reached into his robe and took out the glass spheres, handing the pink one to Ayumi. "Rei-san and Jasmine-san made these jewels from Sanijishi's ashes. You can still feel a bit of her spiritual energy inside, I think."

Squad 4 Lieutenant~
Ayumi slowly reached over grabbing the glass sphere of pink and still sensed Sani so she looked to it remembering how rare her Reiatsu was and how unique she was. Looking at it she was a little heart broken that someone like her had to die today so she looked to Jisaku knowing he saw her die so she held in a few tears, having been emotional more today than she has in her entire life. "She was very strong .. not even Aizen could kill her .. she told me that once" she said quietly as she stood there thinking about on what to do with this jewel to pay respects to Sani since both had Sani with them due to her ashes. "Thank you, Darling" she said cupping her hands seeing the little pink jewel in her palm, Sani having a long life with the Arrancar of Las Notches but met her end not too long ago.
"Be careful .. " she added eagerly as she thought about everyone and Jisaku Rei and Jasmine were the ones still going out there while Isana, her and Gato were out for the count here in the gotei, Ayumi still reeling from the wound she had from Sani but was fine other than that..
"We pulled up records on squads .. just waiting for a name" said a squad 12 member as Ayumi walked off to tend to Gato, Isana still alive and things moving along here at a squad 12 and 4 get together.

Squad Four Captain: Jisaku MorimotoJisaku knelt down to hug Ayumi again. Perhaps it was his imagination, but he could swear he felt Sanijishi embrace him as well. When you think about it, one good thing did come from all of this. Thanks to Sanijishi's actions, Ayumi has shown more emotion than Jisaku could ever remember. If only Gato were awake to see it... "I'll be back," Jisaku said, putting his glasses back on and grabbing a spare respirator. "Chiyo-chan, we're outta here." Jisaku drew his sword and opened a Senkaimon. A black butterfly guided the two of them through. ((Next stop, Karakura Town...right?))

Squad 4 Lieutenant~
Ayumi was standing over the pods of Gato and Isana as they were being scanned and monitored regularly, their infections at the worst stage at the moment so their lives were hanging in the balance. Having not told the Kuchiki that Isana is at risk of dying she wanted to avoid any arguments or angry family members from the clan urging her to keep her alive. They were not responding and were out cold but Ayumi was taking a risk and used them as a testing ground for the cure.
"Batch sixteen put up a fight, scrapped ... membrane wall just cant take the punishment .." said a squad 12 member nearby examining some virus to Pathogen samples through a lens that was part of a machine made to observe microscopic material. "Increase reiatsu input and up the dosage of the serum ... we dont have enough time .. even if this requires time" sighed Ayumi looking over Gato and Isana who were just sleeping or suffering from the disease. "Do they know that Shingaara and miss Kuchiki are the last of the survivors?" asked a squad 12 member to Ayumi as she stood there looking on.
"No.. they need all the morale they can get .. I wont tell them that they are doomed to die in two or three days if they are infected .." said Ayumi quietly as she kept looking over the pods of her friends. Sighing she looked up with a worried look and kept staring ahead as she controlled her breathing, blinking her eyes a bit to avoid crying. She really broke her emotionless wall because of this...

Squad 4 Lieutenant~
Ayumi and several squad 12 members were around Shingaara's pod with the light beeping every few seconds in the color red to state he's not doing well, the Lieutenant standing there looking on. Everyone was a little quiet as things were a little slow around here at the moment, the cure stewing a little to let changes take affect to the pathogen. "His vitals have gone down ever since he arrived .. .. Miss Kuchiki's has stayed where its been ... " said Ayumi quietly while examining her friend. Taking a moment she turned looking at Isana then to Shingaara and had her mouth open slightly where she looked up getting an idea but turned to the staff. "Its the Reiatsu .. the more Reiatsu in their bodies the longer they can hold out against the Black Death ... Gato wasted all his energy but Isana still has stores of it left .. Thats What he wants!" she said sternly as she walked off to the Pathogen vials lined up in an experiment counter lit up with lights of various Reiatsu colors and chemicals.
"The black death to soul reapers kills you anyway, but it kills you faster when you are low on Reiatsu .. on average .. two days .. .. " said Ayumi quietly as squad 12 members tried to tend to Shingaara as he was slipping away due to the disease and the injuries he suffered along with the loss of blood. "We need to finish the cure maybe we can save Gato still" said Ayumi in a wee bit of a hurry.
"His vitals are bad, I dont have to be of squad four to know he doesnt have much time Lieutenant Korogame .. " said a squad 12 member, Ayumi seemingly letting personal feelings overshadow her profession as a healer, Gato's fate clear but she didnt want to believe her friend was dying..

A Senkaimon open it just right outside of squad 12 as Jasmine and Hiragana both step out of it and walk right into squad 12 where Ayumi said to go. Jasmine look over at a few members and ask where is Ayumi Korogame
Squad 4 Lieutenant was. They told her where to go as Jasmine went and saw Ayumi. "How is Gato and Isana doing Ayumi?" Jasmine said, as she walks right over to her.

Ayumi was seen scrambling to get a cure made by tending to the cures that were in the process of completion a little too closely as Jasmine walked in asking about Gato and Isana. "Miss Kuchiki is hanging in there Captain Seshiro ... Shingaara isnt doing so well .. we've been loosing him even before he got here" said a squad 12 member looking to the pods as they slept, Gato's being tended to by squad 12 and four members to sustain his life for a while longer.
"Dont say that .. we can still save him" said ayumi rather calmly nearby but with a hint of hurry to her tone as she kept busy trying to cure the former Head Captain who was dying. "Lieutenant Korogame he's past the point of no return like the other patients who died .. Miss Kuchiki has a better chance than him at the moment" said a squad four member trying to do all he could to help Gato. Looking to Jasmine with a look of genuine hurt that her friend was dying she also mixed it with agony that she wasnt able to do anything while he slowly died. "Can you believe this Jasmine? .. " asked Ayumi being a little personal and not professional.
An alert went off signaling the urgency of Gato's health, making Ayumi sigh heavily as people rushed over to Gato's pod with Ayumi putting her hands on her head brushing her hair back.
Rushing over to Gato's side pushing her way through Ayumi got onto the pod and sat by Gato's side pulling up her green kido box with the snap of a finger. Using her fake arm she tried to fuel Reiatsu into Gato's Torso to keep his vitals going as people tried to aid her by making sure he's breathing.
"We're loosing him" said a squad four member making Ayumi wince as a tear came from her eye, slowly tapping onto the lens of her glasses as she tried saving Gato..

Squad Four Captain: Jisaku MorimotoA Senkaimon opened up in Squad 12. Jisaku stepped through again, this time accompanied by Doctor Hinanji Kigakotsu, leader of the Quincy. Jisaku immediately went over to Ayumi, who was standing by Gatomaru's pod. Her expression told him all he needed to know. "I'm guessing he's not showing any improvement?"Rei Seshiro ((Because we're tired of waiting))
