After a long shift at the infirmary, Jason decided he needed a break to clear his mind, and for once was eager to get to the training fields. Though not his usual place to hang out, it provided a different sort of relief for the moon as he hacked and slashed at the wooden dummies. At least this didn't require any number crunching or long hours of reading It was good to get outside. At least sometimes.

Chel came crashing through with her bow in hand, looking for anyone she could spar with. Such was the way of Sun.
"Hey! Jason! Let's fight!"

Oh hey wasn't that- "Hey Che-" he started before blinking. Oh, she wanted to spar. "er...sure, w-why not?"" He turned around, and waited for her to make the first move like the good sport he was.

And just like that, Chel was off. "Sweet! Thanks man. I've been trying to get people to fight all day. It's lonely fighting an immobile dummy, you know?"
She shot upwards, throwing 3 or 4 arrows up in Jason's direction. She'd learned that one from watching an old medieval movie. Now if Jason could dodge them she'd be in trouble, but hopefully that would be good enough!

Before he could even react, Jason had a lovely pair of arrows sticking out the top of his head. Thankfully his shield kept them from hurting his head, but it was still pretty startling. "...g-good Shot!" What else could he say? HP: 45 Damage: 0

"Y-yeah, I don't feel anything at all." He said to reasure Chel. He was thankful for the time given to ready himself, and with a nod he jumped forward, striking down hard and fast on the Sun's barrier. ..Maybe he went a little to hard. "A-ah! are you alright!?!" He asked with concern. HP: 45 Damage: 7

With Jason's harsh attack, Chel was knocked back a few feet. She still wasn't good at this fighting thing. Maybe she was pushing herself too much, fighting intermediate after intermediate.
"I'm fine," she confessed through gritted teeth, "Keep it comin'!" The more hits she took, the more she learned, right?

Even if she did ask for it. Jason did want to go so hard and fast, seeing as Chel was still recovering from the last blow. "I'll wait a moment." he said. "Since you waited for me, it's only fair." HP: 45 Damage: -

Chel stared at Jason with narrowed eyes. "Dude. I don't want your sympathy time. Just hit me, okay?"
She slung a single arrow at him as though it was a permission slip. "Come at me."

"T-thats not what I me" He held up his hands to protest, but found a arrow stuck out of one instead. "O-okay then...I just didn't want you to get hurt." With a sigh, his sword was out, and he stepped closer to strike against the bow of her weapon to force it out of the way, before it came back to cut at her shield. HP: 43 Damage: 3

"That's more like it!" Chel cried with a jaunty smile. She deflected his sword with her bow, causing a metallic sound to ring throughout the training field.
She then used her bow to bash Jason on the side of the head. Yowch. "Weird, I always get better hits in when I'm usin' Tensy like a sword."

Well, at least she was happy? Jason thought about it for a moment, then decided that even if she got a little roughed up, this would be a learnign experience for her.
Distracted as usual, the moon took a nice hit to the head. He was pretty sure it was ringing. To retaliate, he side stepped Chel and smacked her on the head with the flat of his blade.
Hey, he could thwack people too!

While he was busy thwacking her side, Chel was focusing her power into one monstrous attack. She had a single arrow load, leaving it charging the whole time.
When the right time came, she released it, point blank at Jason. A pinkish white beam of light shot off in his direction, erupting and exploding outwards.
"H-Holy ..." She had never done that before. Jesus Christ that couldn't have been legal.
