It had been no more than twenty-five hours ago when Hannah was awakened by Sheena, the brown furred long haired kitty, into Sailor Acrucis. Finding out that she was the senshi of prayer, that she had the ability to help others gave her a sense of excitement and eagerness to to out despite Shangri-La's warnings.

However with the clones running around especially after what happened to both herself and to poor Sheena, could she really just sit around? Of course not. Though she should have called Phact to come out with her since Shang was fairly adament about not going out alone. However she didnt plan on being out for more than an hour, just testing the waters if anything.... what could go wrong?

At least Acrucis had the know how to at least head his other warning regaring the dangers of the park, which is why she currently sat atop the grocery store roof. Rubbing her hands up and down her bare arms Acrucis gazed up at the eclipsed moon. "I hope this ends soon" she said aloud to nobody but herself.

He hoped it ended soon as well, he did not like encountering his darker (kinda) self. He hurt, should be at home probably, and instead out in the cold with his side aching and sore, as he made his way from roof top to roof top. Little hops, well little for him, and jumps brought him down the streets length as he headed for a signature. It was a senshi - a low level one. He wondered what a senshi was doing out, had no one warned them of these clones? Smirking, hoping they had a shade which would turn up, the General finally caught sight of them and from his own roof top he called out to them.

"Did no one tell you that it's not safe to roam in the darkness?" Referring, right now at least, to the eclipse and lack of light from the moon."It is rather....unsafe." He spoke, the last word drawn out in a smooth drawl, as if warning her that perhaps he himself was not safe - not that he was. His cape billowed about him in the cool night air as did his coat; it was a wonder neither thing got in his way more then they already did. Slate eyes looked over the senshi and he had to wonder what she was senshi of; given her uniform.

"Do tell, what are you senshi of?" Perhaps he as curious, and he was, but he had no intentions of letting her know that.

Even as she sat unblinking at the eclipse above her, Acrucis was not at all oblivious to her surroundings. She felt the strong, almost overwhelming, chaos power signature as it approached her, the same kind of signature Shangri-La had warned her to stay away from. Though technically speaking she wasn't breaking any rules as she was not the one seeking it out, rather it seemed to have zeroed in on her.

The sound of his voice brought her visual attention down to the rooftop adjacent from her, his form blocked by blue circle afterimages of the moon. Acrucis brought her hand up to rub her eyes in an attempt to clear her vision before offering him a smile and replying to his question. "I've been given the lectures yes." Shang had been fairly thorough in his warning of dealing with agents of chaos and she had the unfortunate luck of having first hand run ins with the clones, both her own and Sheena's. "Didn't sway my decision on coming out this evening though"

Acrucis watched as the wind danced with his cloak. His attire no doubt shielding him from the evening fall weather significantly more than her own outfit did. Judging by his clothes, the way he stood, and his power signature he commanded respect which is why she didn't delay too long in responding to his last question. "I'm the senshi of prayer." Realizing that just by saying what her sphere was didn't really explain what she could do she added "I have the ability to heal minor injuries, which is why I'm out here now." she admitted "With all the clones running around I though I could help people. Though your the first person I've ran into this evening." If he was injured she couldn't tell, not at this distance.

"I see....I wonder though. Do you go against the lectures because you are that daring and bold or because you don't care about your life - consciously or not." He spoke, his voice thoughtful, as he looked her over slowly. Eyes slowly appraising her as if her appearance alone could answer his question.

Senshi of prayer...how interesting. Did they have a senshi for everything? Because it certainly seemed like it. Knees bent before his sprung toward her, to the roof she was on. Landing slightly, with the clicking of heels, he stood there in front of her. Short and rather petite but his power signature certainly stated that despite his size he had power - and a good deal of it. "You heal people - that is a useful gift." Although he valued those who could fight he also was smart enough to know you needed people who knew medicine, you couldn't keep going to hospitals for injuries. To have senshi who could heal was a good thing for their side; and he did dislike that greatly. They lacked, the Negaverse, in people who knew medicine and could truly help and keep their people up and running. They weren't without their people but it seemed that a senshi who could heal was a little more useful.

Maybe they had, or could gain, a corrupted senshi with such an ability. It would help in battles rather then just seeking out such people after the fight was done.

"The clones...yes, they are rather dangerous and something to be taken care of - by both sides." For once they had a common enemy and were working together, though in an unofficial manner of course. "I am unfortunate enough to have had a clone of myself - something which I could not allow to continue. It would be too dangerous." He stated. With his weapon and his power...it was not a good thing to allow to continue. So he'd had to take it out.

"I am General Benitoite. May I ask your name senshi?" He questioned even as he kept his tone polite and on the friendly side. This senshi could be useful, perhaps even brought to the other side? If nothing else he was learning.

Acrucis found herself mildly thankful for the distance between them, the smile that she had shown him a moment ago faltered, slipping into a slightly sad expression when he inquired whether or not she cared about her life. Eyes downcast she tugged on the hem of her white skirt in a feeble attempt to cover her bare legs.

She heard soft click of his heels touching down next to her, felt his power signature the sensation similar to standing in front of a bonfire without the heat. "Neither," she replied raising her eyes back to meet his own "I've spent the better part of the last two years fighting for my life, I have no intention of stopping now. I just can't sit around at home hiding knowing that I have the ability to help people who are injured."

Now that he was close enough she looked him over, not in an attempt to size him up, rather to see if he had any visible injuries, especially since he had just admitted to having a run in with his clone. "So you're out here to take care of your clone then?" she inquired, maybe, just maybe, if he was out here looking for his clone she could help? "My clone tried to kill me in my own home a few days ago, and yesterday I witnessed a knight killing a cat's clone after it shot him with some beam. It looks like you made it out far better than he did" She offered him a smile satisfied that it appeared he was unscathed, given she couldn't be certain with his many layers but with how he effortlessly closed the distance between them a moment ago, he didn't act like he had sustained any injuries.

Scooting back away from the ledge so she could stand up, Acrucis rose to her feet with little effort. "It is nice to meet you," tilting her head to the side with a sincere smile she replied "My name is Acrucis" She reached out with her right hand in a friendly gesture. "I'm named after a star in the Southern Cross, the Crux constellation. We're too far north to see it but, it's in that general direction," she pointed with her other hand in the general direction of the constellation.

Watching her he felt curious about her - she was interesting. And decided to question her further. Even if he could not bring her to their side it would be information learned and that could help in the future, any little bit of information could always prove useful at some point in time. It was just a matter of right time and right, or wrong, situation which could make a small little tidbit of information useful.

"The better part of two years fighting for you life? Don't tell me you've been a senshi this long." And still not made it past first stage. No, that didn't seem to be the case. So what was the case? "Mmmm...the ability to help people. Yes, that is a noble thing to do. It is what we do as well - help civilians." Although they also took energy from people, it didn't harm them so much as it scared them, despite what the white moon said and believed. Yes, some civilians were killed, had been killed, and would be killed but that was a much smaller number when compared to how many were simply drained of energy.

"No, I have thankfully succeeded in removing my clone from existence." He said this with something akin to pride tainting his words. And why should he not feel pride? It had not been an easy thing to accomplish - to kill ones own doppelganger. It had his weapon and could teleport, it was not physically weak either. It had also been a task which had needed to be completed and not because it wanted him dead, although it did play a role in the need to kill it, but mainly because he felt it a threat to civilians and thus it needed handling. "Mmm...perhaps. A few bangs are of no real consequence to me to be honest. I have had my fair share of injuries in this war so by comparison the clone has done little damage to me." Stitches was a minor thing, annoying and he disliked bleeding all over the place and being dizzy from it, but compared to broken bones it wasn't nearly as bad.

"A pleasure to meet you Acrucis. I do hope your clone did not do you too much harm." He spoke while taking the offered hand for a shake. He could, and was, being very polite as it seemed this meeting warranted such. He was also hoping to bring her around to his side, eventually, but until then he would gain whatever information she may have - get to know her as well as he could. If he could befriend her it would be easier to turn her.

She had hoped that he wouldn't ask further on her statement but alas he was quick to pick up on it. Shaking her head she replied, "I think we would have met each other before now if I'd been a Senshi for that long." It was a round about answer that didn't indicate her Senshi age and hopefully he would be content with that.

Had it of been Phact standing in front of her instead of a General she had just met, Acrucis would have started removing his cape and cloak to see exactly where he had been injured. However this being their first meeting and at least having the know how to keep her hands to herself, she instead rubbed the palm of her hands up and down her arms to warm herself up a bit. "Had I not of had a friend spending the night, my clone would have killed me in my sleep. My mother let it into the house thinking I got locked outside on accident and sent my clone upstairs to take a shower and go to bed. She didn't realize my friend and I called it a night early and were already passed out. Thankfully my friend woke up, otherwise I would have been skewered by a letter opener." she gave him a lopsided smile. She was still alive and nobody got too seriously injured except herself. "I got a few cuts and scrapes from things falling off bookshelves and shoved into furniture but since I have the ability to heal, the injuries are all but gone now."

She looked at him wondering what thoughts were going through his head. If he was as bad as she was lead to believe him to be, was he thinking she should have perished that night? Or was he possibly relieved that the clone had not won that fight as they seem to be a common enemy. "I'm not entirely sure of the full mechanics of my renew, I don't think I need to be able to see an injury for it to work. With your permission, I'd like to mend what minor injuries you did sustain from fighting your clone." She hoped he would accept her offer but wouldn't be offended if he instead rejected it. There seemed to be a natural distrust, or even hate, between Chaos and Order and understood there are some boundaries you don't cross, but it didn't hurt to ask.

"Mmmm, perhaps. Their are many senshi and knights in this city and by comparison very few that I have met." He spoke calmly. He had seen, and met, very few by comparison. It felt as though there were so many more of those who served the white moon; it made winning the war seem an impossible and rather hopeless task at times. But he didn't give up hope - he couldn't.

As he watched the senshi it seemed the cold was getting to her; and how could it not? Her uniform lacked in coverage and so he did the gentlemanly thing in such a situation, he was hoping to win her over to the Negaverse in time, and took off his cloak. Stepping over to her he offered her the heavy fabric. "Here, it is not much but it will cover you from the cold and wind." He knew there was a motivation behind his actions but not entirely so, he also didn't need her to freeze while they were talking together.

Her question, her offer, surprised him and he let it show. He didn't bother to hide his surprise and shock as he stared at her. "You would help me? A member of the Negaverse?" He questioned, as if to be sure of the offer and if she knew just what she was offering and to whom she was offering. "If so then yes, you can. I wondering now...is this an offer you would make to anyone on my side?" He questioned honestly.

Surprised by his unexpected generosity, Acrucis accepted the heavy cloak. The weight of the fabric came as a bit of a surprised especially with how effortlessly he had jumped from the adjacent roof and how it had wafted in the wind from moments ago. it's soft she realized as she ran her fingers over the fabric, not unlike wool which was generally a scratchy material with coarse fibers. "Thank you!" she smiled at him, genuine appreciation apparent in her voice; grateful for his kindness and temporary offer of warmth.

Taking a hold of the ivy pins, the Senshi of Prayer brought one corner of the cloak behind her head and securely fastened them to her caplet. "And yes," she looked back at him once she was satisfied that the cape wouldn't fall off, her expression taking on a more serious look "I would help you. I don't like seeing people hurt. So long as I have the ability to heal others I intend to help as many as I can. It doesn't matter what side a person is or isn't on." Her mind shifted to Dr Jacobs the same way a doctor doesn't choose his patient, those in need are all treated the same with equal amounts of care.

Looking him in the eyes, she tilted her head to the side in childish curiosity "Haven't you ever helped someone else before? Someone on the other side of the war?" She asked despite already knowing the answer to her question. Acrucis raised her eyebrows as if saying you just helped me but kept quiet, silently hoping he picked up on the hint.

As she waited for his reply, Acrucis brought her hands up in the same manner she did back at the park when Shangri-la laied on the ground from being blasted by the clone cat beam. "Prayer of renew" she spoke softly reaching her arms out in front of her, palms face up in his direction. Please work she inwardly hoped, unsure if the attack only benefited those on her side. Considering she couldn't see his injuries, there was no way for her to confirm that it was working unless he said something.

Sailor Scout Attack: Prayer of Renew
Sailor Acrucis brings her hands together in a prayer motion and whispers her attack after which she holds her hands out in front of her in the direction of an injured individual within 15 feet of where she is standing. Both Acrucis's hands and the individual are bathed in a soft yellow light as a heal over time is cast. Over the next 10 seconds Renew has the ability to fully heal minor cuts, scrapes and bruises and can be cast 3 times without wearing her out. In order to mend a moderate wound it would take 2-3 casts on the same individual but will not fully heal the wound**. Her target must be in front of her or to her sides, it cannot be cast on someone behind her.

"I would offer my coat but I'm afraid I need that." Or he himself might freeze. This was the one time of year he was happy for the layers his uniform was made up of, the shirt, vent, coat and cape. It all went to keeping him warm but in the summer it was not a good thing; it caused over heating. And if you worked up a good heat in a fight you could over heat even in winter, it was the one big problem with the much loved uniform.

"I see...so you would help anyone on my side - regardless of their deeds?" He questioned. He knew that among some senshi he had a reputation, how could he not? How long before this senshi found that out? Would that change her mind? He wanted - no he needed to know. He needed to know if their were limits on her generosity. There had to be a limit, right? Everyone had limits to things they did, and didn't do, so this had to be the same.

At her question he halted his thoughts for a moment. Helped someone on the other side of the war? He hadn't in the past, and would have even laughed at her question, but now he couldn't say that nor laugh at the question. He had helped that knight and the senshi only a few evenings back. So he nodded his head after a moment. "Against the shades - I did." He answered honestly. He was also sure this was something that wouldn't happen again once these shades were dealt with properly. He didn't think of just now as helping her. This was him having manners and him wanting to charm her to his side, he was sure of that. There was a purpose to it; and so it didn't even register for him.

Watching her use her magic, for once not worried about what magic a senshi was casting upon him, he watched as her hands glowed softly with power and bit back a gasp of surprise. He couldn't describe just what he was feeling but he was more aware of the stitched up wound at his side, covered by the heavy uniform he wore, and wondered what was happening. He didn't know it wouldn't fully mend but it would put it closer to being completely sealed where only a thin scar would remain.

"It's okay" The heavy fabric was more than enough to keep her mostly shielded from the cold so long as she kept her back towards the wind. Even if he had offered his coat, she would have rejected, at least this way both of them could benefit from the warmth.

"And Yes," she replied to his question, only waiting till after she cast her attack before responding. "I would, I don't see why not." Shang didn't give many specifics on the deeds of Chaos when they spoke on the rooftop, only that she should avoid them. Her features softened, if she was scared she didn't show it; despite his overwhelming aura she felt oddly at ease. "Though I don't quite understand what you mean by 'regardless of their deeds'. Aren't we working together to get rid of the clones?" He had just admitted to helping someone with a shade, that's good right? "Plus you're kind enough to offer me this." She smiled twisting her body side to side so the end of the cloak wafted in the wind a bit.

The light yellow glow faded from both of them, his reaction to her renew remained unreadable; leaving her to believe that either it had no effect on the General or he had an amazing poker face. With a slight tilt of her head, her eyebrows furrowed a bit, not liking the possibility that her attack didn't work on him. "Did it work?" she inquired hugging the cape around her self.

"Ahh...right now we both have the same goal in mind. Normally we are on opposing sides of a war - enemies if you will." He was wording it nicely but he spoke honestly, their sides were enemies. Right now though it seemed both sides did indeed have the same goal in mind - kill the clones. "

She was new, very new, and didn't know much about this war. She had obviously not seen any fights or how the two sides really got on - not well. Gloves fingers ran through his hair gently; ash locks of hair falling back into place. "Because we are enemies, normally, does not mean I am without manners. I do know a cold person when I see one and I do posses manners enough to offer something to warm the person I'm speaking to. I was taught well as a child." Very well in fact. he couldn't go around to the events his parents went to and be a risk of embarrassment to his parents, especially his mother, or say things which could get people in trouble. He knew better and had grown up learning these things.

"I believe it did. Seeing as the wound was stitched together I dare not prod it and ruin the stitching my...friend did." He spoke though his hand did wander down to the side which had been wounded. Gloved fingers prodding through the fabric of vest and shirt. "The stitches remain but it does not trouble me as it did before." He would have Alois look at it later and explain this interesting run in to him.

Acrucis straightened up all proud of herself, finding out that her heal wasn't limited to only those who were 'order' was the happiest news she'd had received since powering up for the first time yesterday. "I'm glad it worked!" She said with a triumphant smile.

The pride and happiness she displayed however was short lived. Taking on a more serious tone she looked him in the eyes not liking what he had said a moment ago. "Why?" came her simple yet loaded question. "Why does it have to go back to being that way? Why can't we just keep working together?" Her heart wrenched at the thought of having to possibly be faced with having to fight against him after he'd been so kind and generous. "I don't want us to be enemies" a selfish statement yes especially since they had just met, but she honestly had no desire to fight anyone regardless of the side they stood on.

"Ah, I wasn't referring to us per-say but our sides. I would be content to have things remain as they are between us." Said the spider to the moth, oh yes he was hoping to bring her right into his web and perhaps bring her to the side of chaos. If he could do that he would be most pleased, like the cat which had gotten the canary and the bowl of cream. Even if he didn't succeed it would be good to have her willing, and able, to heal those on their side. He would be keeping things good between them for as long as he possibly could.

"That is of course if you wish us to stay as we are. Do not take it to mean others on my side will be as I am - everyone is different and I speak for no one else but myself." He didn't wish for her to become confused, somehow, and think he was speaking for his whole faction - he wasn't.

Acrucis nodded her head when he inquired whether or not she wanted things to stay as they are. She understood that his offer of ‘truce’ only extended between the two of them. As he had said, he couldn’t speak for anyone else the same way she couldn’t speak for Shangri-La. Never the less be it an olive branch or an olive twig, she intended to grasp it with both hands and hold onto it like a lifeline and use it as a symbol of hope that maybe just maybe she had a chance to connect with others as well.

“If your right and things go back to how they were before the shades came, what do you suggest I do? How will I know who I can trust not to kill me on sight?” A part of her reason for asking was to see if his suggestions mirrored Shang’s. She had already received validity to his words of caution by Benitoite’s last statement that others on his side wouldn’t necessarily respond to her the way he had. However what she was asking for now was direction on how to handle a situation should she have the unfortunate luck of encountering someone who sought to do her, or others, harm.
