22 + 20 (familiarity) +10 (drakein) - 5 (Drakien) - 30 (capture bonus) = 17 Failed.
Erionda followed the next hastar she could find for several miles. It was painful to feel such a lack of success with the creatures. Had the one she had caught on Soudul been a fluke? Lanzecki whimpered softly against the cold. Uassae had taken to the air in hopes of finding a warmer way to travel. Running her hand along Lanzecki's head, Erionda attempted to comfort him. Unlike her companions Erionda didn't feel the cold as deeply. Something she could attribute to her clan. Aiskala were naturally good with the cold, especially the snow storms.
Hunkering down behind a snow drift Erionda watched as the Hastar approached a much younger one. Guessing by the size it could only be a baby. Was it possible to capture them at that young of an age and raise them in her barn? Posing the question to both her companions Erionda wasn't surprised they didn't know.
Sighing Erionda continued to watch and study the creatures. She had no intention of trying to tame them today. Not when there were clearly more than two starting to gather around. Biting her lip Erionda ducked out of sight. This was getting harder and harder and Erionda wasn't sure she was going to be able to catch another one again.
