                  APPEARANCE:

                  Dark-haired and dark-skinned, with a pair of grey eyes peeking past stray wisps of loosely tendriled hair. She is tall and slender, with a purposeful gait; her eyes always lifted towards the path ahead. Of mixed race, being made up of the Panymese equivalent of Middle Eastern Indian (her father) and African American (her mother).





                  PERSONALITY:

                  Diligent and steadfast with a mind for what she wants in life and hands not unaccustomed to reaching for and grasping those goals firmly between her fingers; Amaryllis is the type to always have a goal set before her, a checklist- per se- of meticulously planned errands. Organization, cleverness, connections, are three of the most important traits she strives to uphold- and uphold she does, with a sense of pride; an air of responsibility. Though stubborn at times, and very much prone to heavy discussion of subjects she disagrees with, her opinion is one of logic and reason, subject to change if the right argument is presented. She keeps her mind open to the many possibilities that life may present, and is quite unabashed whenever she is met with a person that does not. Closemindedness, ignorance, are two traits she'll never be able to forgive in a person. Whereas, a healthy curiosity and a sense of purpose are two she will forever admire.

                  Hardship has given Amaryllis a purpose in life. A thing to strive for. Rather than dwelling on the past, she chooses to learn from it; chooses to wield it to her advantage. She takes situations and she always does her best to see the light of it, the positive side to every negative; as, she does indeed always say, there absolutely must be a positive for every negative. "It's a rule of nature, after all."

                  Being the owner of a very one-track mind, however, can certainly prove to be detrimental. She often comes off as selfish and brash; putting her needs before others, despite- perhaps- them being in a more dire situation. She's seen as a quite aloof figure in the ways of social interaction, rarely interested in the everyday and preferring to speak of work or politics. True emotions are not things she very often comes by; though she seems in a constant state of stress, anger, and exhaustion. She simply does not have the time, she says, to toy with things so coy as emotion. Logic, reason, and her own brain are much more important than the heart. That said, empathy is not something commonly found in the hardened insides of Amaryllis Nirinaya.

                  HISTORY:

                  1381: Birth-17. Amaryllis Nirinaya, the first and only daughter of known mages Allucard (alchemist) and Thisbe (apothecarist) Nirinaya is born on January 2nd, 1381. She spends most of her childhood in Maycove, Shyregoad being tutored in both magic and general studies by her parents and various other residents of the Fellowship base. Her childhood is, for the most part, uneventful and without too much strife. Though she does isolate herself, somewhat, from the rest of the children living in Maycove; she has a happy period of growth and learning.

                  1399-1406: Aged 18-25. Travels away from Shyregoad for the first time in order to continue her education at Trisica Academy, in Gadu, Helios; with a major in Magic and a minor in Plagueology. It is here, at Trisica, that she opens her mind to the possibility of becoming her own, individualized self. Instead of following the path of her mother and father- she spends 8 years studying, working towards a doctorate in Magic. She joins the Council at age 23, deciding that the way of science is a much more logical path to take. Her parents, though surprised, prove to be quite supportive of their daughter’s decision.

                  1407: Aged 26. Graduates from Trisica, with a doctorate in Magic and a masters in Plagueology. Following orders from the Council, she moves out to Stillcrest, where she joins her fellow councilmen at base Polaris.

                  1408-1410: Aged 27-29. Spends most of this time working as the base commanders assistant; often traveling to Helios and other regions in order to coax people into funding the base. It is during this year that her mother, Thisbe, contracts the Plague and dies only a month later; inspiring Amaryllis to work on prolonging the life of those plagued.

                  1411: Aged 30. Becomes base commander at Polaris, after the previous commander is promoted to a better-funded place of work.

                  1412: Aged 31. Established as the command of Polaris; working towards the goal of bringing it back on the map, as well as continuing her studies of prolonging the life of someone plagued.

                  Inanimate > Phasmus > Quietus, with an affinity towards white magic.

                  PERSONALITY:

                  Lengthy, internal dialogues. Introspective.

                  I'd like her to standby as a hunter kills a creature. Maybe another reindeer.
                  And she'll console it in death, but does nothing to stop the hunter.
                  She gets it. People are part of nature. She can have figured them out a while ago, read them for filth, but condones it.

                  People aren't super hard to figure out. She should know them all too well and not care for it much, but still respects them enough not to murder them.

                  What is their purpose?

                  They are idealists and perfectionists, who drive themselves hard in their quest for achieving the goals they have identified for themselves.

                  INFPs are usually talented writers.
