History: Hikari was only an infant on the day she lost both of her parents during an assault on the Kirigakure Village. Because of this she was taken in by the 6th Mizukage and was raised along with him. Despite her relations to the Hozuki Clan, Hikari chose to keep her surname "Yuki" (ユキ, Yuki) in remembrance of her late mother, Sahara Yuki. When Hikari was around 6 years old, she was able to master some Ice Jutsu's on her own. Sawaii soon entered the Academy and was placed in the same class as her soon-to-be teammates Miguel Ohnoki and Shizuo Hozuki . She befriends both of them, along with others. Hikari explained to her friends that she preferred being called by her own name, since she wanted to be treated like everyone else instead of the 6th Mizukage's "Sister".Her small height and figure also made her the target of bullies, and was called "chibi" or other names. Hikari paid no mind to them and would merely return their insults with smiles. The bullying helped her grow more confidence and strength in herself despite her small body. Hikari was a very bright student, as she was very good academically and was very interested in studying. Her "brother" however insisted on her becoming a full-fledged ninja and later on, after learning how her parents had died, she became determined to become a strong kunoichi. She was proficient in using kunai and shuriken, but did not have a strong stamina but she had excellent chakra control. She was also limited in her taijutsu abilities. When Hikari graduated, she was placed in a genin cell with Miguel Ohnoki and Shizuo Hozuki.
Personality: Hikari is a calm and patient person, overall she’s friendly and polite, but she does have a certain rigor about her, which seems to keeps people in line. This is especially true with children.Its not because she’s such a prude person, this trait is caused by her strict but fun mother who raised her. Hikari has a weakness for children, and loves to hang out with them. She doesn’t seem to have any difficulty with handling troublesome children, as being a patient person she takes her time to attend to the children individually. At Kirigakure’s ninja academy she’s been praised by several of teachers for her good behavior against children.
