So, in a nut shell. He was texted down to a party in the basement by a friend of his, Shiloh. Though oddly enough once he arrived he was no where to be found? But Quinn was there anyways! So he decided to look around some. He saw a girl with a bottle standing alone in a corner, so he decided to approach and say hello. Fast forward to him now somehow carrying said girl, named 'maebl', over his shoulder out of the basement floor because it somehow was now infested with hundreds of flaming fire-bugs. Literally, at the fire bugs. Did he forget to mention that Maebl was also incredibly drunk, and he was now bringing said bottle back with him to the safety of the upper halls? He was too nice to leave the woman there, alone, in the corner. She would have probably been injured. Sure he just met her, but he felt a little responsible oddly. Once they reached the top of the stairs leading down he paused as he realized a fatal flaw in his plans. "Maebl, whats your dorm number?"

Maebe had almost dropped her phone as she drunkenly tweeted her best friend, while bouncing on Quinn's shoulder. But when he asked her a question, she thought long, and hard about the answer. She remembered it. And then promptly forced herself to forget. "I don't know. What's yours?"

Oh. Oh that wasn't good. Was she so wasted she couldn't even remember her own dorm room? "Uhm." Was his brilliant response, receding back into his thoughts once more. He couldn't just leave her here. That was just as bad as leaving her in the basement, only less dark and smelly. Who knows where she could wander off to in a drunken stupor, or who could stumble across her and take advantage. She might wander towards the beach or have some weirdo find her (some deus people were strange) and... well... with him at least he knew she was safe. Right? "Weeeellll crap." He sighed, resigning his will and starting to walk off once more, assuming towards his room. Either way a little while later there was a rustle of keys, as he opened his door.

"I'm pretty sure you can't be in room number 'wellcrap." She informed him, raising her head up when they turned for him to open his door. She was greeted with a familiar sight. "Heeey. That's Shy's room. HEY SHY, GET'R DONE." She screamed out, waving her hands frantically. She felt bad for saying this without explaining the situation to Quinn, so she very carefully, subtly let him in on the secret. "He's having some sex, too."

"Wait, how do you know Shiloh's room number but not your ow-" He stopped just inside his opened door. He soon found himself coughing as he flushed, his skin tone turning a darker shade of brown. Oooooh lordie that was not something he needed to hear out of the blue. Sure, sex happened, but screamed out in the middle of the hallway? But that did explain why Shiloh wasn't in the basement. While he tried to stop the thought, that little question of 'i wonder with who?' reared its ugly head in his mind. He shook it away, Shiloh and he reaaallyy did need to have a talk tomorrow. Trying his best to ignore that fact, he closed his door with a foot. "Well i am glad Shiloh found someone to share himself with." After placing the bottle on the small table close to the door Quinn moved and dropped Maebe on the bed as gentle as he could. "Though i have to ask, what do you mean by 'too'?" He frowned at her, she didn't seriously think what he thought she did, did she? nio love Congrats u flustered a Quinn

Maebe was dropped on the bed, right where she assumed he'd drop her. She sat there for a moment, and looked at his little room. It was the same size as hers, but far less pink, of course. She got a quick look at the bottle he'd brought with him, silently thanking him for his good planning - clearly he wasn't drunk enough yet. And then she answered him by raising her feet just enough to wrap around - and knock - the back of his knees. She assumed this would make him fall, and she was ready to catch him in her arms. And that, Quinn, was what she meant by too.

Well, that was surely one way to get an answer. Her blow hit home, catching him off guard as he soon found himself caught in her arms, his body pressed against hers. Oh god, what. "...Maebl, i think you are really, really drunk and this should not be happening." He mused, and was already beginning to use his arms on either side of her as leverage to try and push himself off. He really was not doing this, not with a random stranger he just met. A really drunk one, at that. Dark skin be damned, no matter how dark his heritage made him the blushing he was currently doing was most certainly noticeable.

Maebe stared up at him, her eyes half-lidded entirely due to intoxication, and her head swayed slightly. She looked like she might have been mad, if she could have been anything other than drunk. "God ******** damnit." She groaned out breathlessly, dropping down to lay her head on the bed. "You're gay, aren't you." She'd have to direct him over to Shiloh's room. They could have one big threeway and leave her alone to suffer.

That question, was conveniently ignored. Instead he took his new found freedom to roll over, so instead of laying on top of Maebe he was now laying beside her. "Sorry to disappoint, but i wont take advantage of anyone whom is more than a little...intoxicated." Unless he knew them well enough or was dating them. He understood random flings. But he just met her, and she was more than a little inhibriated. Call it a sort of moral high ground he stood on. So sorry Maebe, no sex for you tonight. "... Did you really forget your room number?" That question was still bugging him, she knew Shilohs room but not her own?

She'd conveniently forgotten, in all the haze and stupor that came with being this blissfully drunk, about the simple fact that she'd already labeled Quinn as a Nice Guy. It was too easy to forget an obvious fact like that when a man was carrying you like property, off to his room. But he reminded her, as he laid beside her and flat out explained why he wasn't ripping her clothes off. Taking advantage. Ha. There was no advantage left to take. "Of course I did." She muttered, staring with frustrating disappointment up at the ceiling. "Would I lie to you?"

He thought about that for a moment, and then shrugged. "I dont know you well enough to know if your lying to me or not." The alcohol was another point to factor in, but she seemed to be holding a conversation well enough. He had no idea how well she held her liquor. He stared at the bottle across the room as he thought about it. "Any reason you were hitting the bottle so hard? Just partying?"

Her eyes shifted to the side, glaring at him without her head turning. That was the kind of question someone asked when they wanted to get to know someone. That was the kind of question Maebe considered poison.
"Why do you want to know?" She mumbled carefully. If Quinn wasn't giving it up, the only thing keeping her on his bed was her current lack of ability to stand.

He shrugged again. "Seemed like you needed someone to talk with." She had been alone in that corner, with a bottle of alcohol. That screamed lonely to him, and that was something that drew him to her in the first place. Alone with a bottle of alcohol seemed like something was bugging them.
"It's your choice in the end, I'm a good listener."

It was a fair answer, but still left much to be desired. She pushed herself up just enough to lean her head on one arm, bent at the elbow. Her expression looked just a tiny bit more sober, but only because she was seriously attempting to consider the good and bad of his offer. She smirked sarcastically.
"So let me get this straight. You think I need to talk. So you take me away from the party, get me into bed, and offer up that ear for a nice chat. But you don't want a ******** afterward. Have I got all my facts straight? Because if you're just doing this to ******** me, I need to be clearer - you don't have to."

Her answer threw him a little off guard, which was her intent more than likely. Even so he should have been expecting it.
He turned to meet her gaze, giving her a little bit of a dead-pan look. Not friendly, but not unfriendly either. "Not entirely, no. I did not plan for this to happen. You want my side of the story? Shiloh texted me down to the basement, i have no idea why but he mentioned someone named 'Maebe'. I go down stairs, and i see you in the corner. I think hey, why not strike up a random conversation? She looks like she needs someone to talk with. So i did. Then when the mini fire balls started to fly everywhere, i decided it was time to leave. I couldn't leave you there with all the chaos going on, with you intoxicated and barely able to stand without leaning against a wall. So i brought you with me. At the top of the stairs i realize that i didn't know your room number, and apparently you don't either. So i thought okay, i cant just leave her here either. What if she wanders off and gets in trouble? So i brought you back here, with the intentions of making sure you were at least okay."
After his winded speech he stopped to hatch his breath, his look remaining neutral as he flopped back against his bed once more. "I am sorry if you were looking for a romp, but i was serious when i said i wouldn't take advantage of someone intoxicated."
