Phee had learned a lot since growing up to how she was now. Such as she needed a proper place to live...and to get a proper place to live she needed a job. To get a job, well that had been pretty easy honestly. She'd gone to the one store that had all that music she'd liked as a child and gotten a job there, though she'd also gotten a second one at a store in the mall that sold clothes like the ones she liked to wear. They were perfect jobs for her!
She'd been working both jobs long enough at this point she'd saved up enough money to get herself a little house. It was called a "fixer-upper" which she discovered meant it need a lot of improvements made to it, but she didn't mind. She'd gotten to be friends with some guys at work and one came over and did the little bit of repair work needing done for her, which hadn't taken him but a few hours to get done, and then helped her clean out the chimney which had the remnants of discarded bird nests in it, and a few other things.
Today, she was off from both jobs, and on something of a hunt. She had been slowly decorating her little house, loving where it sat between the beach and the forest...and while she had things to give it the beachy-feel, she had nothing to bring a forest feel into it...which was a must as far as she was concerned.
So today, she was searching for various things. Maybe a moss covered log to bring back to the front yard, some larger rocks for the back, a few fresh pine boughs to hang up for the smell, or to put into the fireplace even. She wasn't sure what she'd decide to bring back with her.

It was starting to get cold in her usual hiding spot, so Cecily had moved south, to a slightly warmer area of forest closer to the beach. She still wasn't feeling quite brave enough to tackle more heavily-settled areas, but she no longer felt the need to hide away in complete isolation - if pokéballs really didn't work on her any more, then she was safe to explore!
And maybe even meet more people?
Ooooh, like that blue lady over there! The shiny Celebi child crept from tree branch to tree branch, finally dropping down in front of the stranger and blinking up at her. She stared for a moment, then blinked again.
"...Did you know you have a rainbow on your head?"

Well that was certainly the most interesting reaction to her choice of clothing and style...and it brought a smile to her face and a laugh.
"Yeah I know I do. I put it there myself actually. What about you? You look like you have fairy floss on yours. It's cute."
Phee had...well a big handful of nothing foresty at this point. But it was nice to explore around her new home anyhow.
"Where'd you come from anyhow? I didn't see you."

"Fairy Floss?" Cecily echoed, shaking her curls curiously. "Do I? It's just like this..." Getting to her feet, she reached up to Phee with curious hands, pulling them back as she realized it probably wasn't very nice to try and touch someone else's hair.
"How'd you do that? Get a rainbow in your hair?"
She blinked at the stranger and shrugged. "I came from the trees. My bed's up there, see?" And she pointed up to a sturdy branch, which had her little cloud blanket wrapped around it.
"What about you? Where'd you come from?"

"Oh uhm...it's spun sugar...some people call it cotton candy as well." Phee laughed softly as the girl reached towards her and she crouched down. "You can feel my hair I don't mind. It's a little spiky though so be careful." The question made her smile. "It's called hair dye, I can make my hair all sorts of colors with it, neat huh?" she was glad the girl didn't seem afraid of her. Too many did, and at times it made her wonder at her decision to not be seen as "cute and sweet" and if it was the right choice. But she didn't falter in her decision despite wondering. "The trees?" her head tipped back and she looked up with wide eyes. "You live up there? Really? Aren't you afraid you'll fall?" it was so high! "Oh, I have a house through the trees there. You can't see it since the trees are so tall but it's situated between the trees and the beach."

"That sounds.... weird," Cecily said, making a face. "How do you spin sugar? Or eat cotton?" Both concepts were strange to her and she didn't have much good to say about the imagery either one inspired in her mind.
But that wasn't anywhere near as interesting as Phee's hair, so she reached out to brush a careful hand through the spiky strands. "It's so pretty," she said, cooing. "You're very pretty, miss!"
Pretty and tough.
"I bet nobody tries to mess with you, huh?"
At Phee's expression, she giggled and shook her head. "Not really! See these?" And she spread her wings - she was too heavy to really fly with them any more, but they could help her slow a fall and angle in a safer direction.
"What's a house like? Is it like a nest?"

"It's candy! I don't know how it's made but it's sure fun to eat." she smiled at the girl, laughing softly as she touched her hair. It was styled softly today so no spiky bits, really. The compliments made her smile a light blush to her face. "Thanks, and you can call me Phee. You're right no one really messes with me." her head tipped some at the wings. "Cute wings!" they were! "Hmm...hard to explain. Come with me and I can show you my house. Its kind of like a nest I suppose, but...really not." She stood up and motioned. "Come on, I'll show you so you know." why not?

"It sounds weird," Cecily said and shook her head as she pulled her hand back. "I don't think I'd want to eat it," she added, blinking up at Phee curiously.
"Thank you, but they're just my wings," Cecily said, shrugging. She didn't think her wings were anything special! "My name's Cecily; it's nice to meet you!"
A house was like a nest but not? Hmmm....
"Okay, I'll come."
It wasn't like she had anything better to do, after all!

"Well sometime when I get it and I see you, I'll let you try a piece. It melts in your mouth when you eat it."
"I think they're nice, but I don't have wings so maybe thats why I think they're so nice." it was one way to explain it she figured. "It's very nice to meet you Cecily. My house is just over here."
Phee led the way, her knew house looming up into sight and she couldn't help but smile. Sure it needed a bit of work, like new paint and a few small repairs but it wasn't anything drastic.

Lirilei ((Sorry this has been so long. Life's been.... rough. To say the least.)) "That's a house?" Cecily asked, tilting her head as she peered at the large structure. "What do you do with it? It's so big!" Since the little Celebi girl hadn't really ever known a home other than her favorite spots in the trees, she wasn't quite sure what to make of a whole building to live in. "It's pretty, though!" It was pretty; maybe nothing extremely fancy, but Cecily wasn't sure it would be half so nice if it did. It looked... loved. And worked on. Which, looking at the girl who had led her here, it probably was. "How do you get in? Does it have a hole for you?"

Redbud-Tree No worries. I know it has been. *hug* Also know the quoting thing sometimes doesn't notify very well. xp "It is a house yes...and well you live in it. There's bedrooms for sleeping in, and keeping personal belongings...and a kitchen to make food and eat and a living room where you gather with friends who visit, or others who live with you and spend time together and stuff. Though it's just me here." she'd really only ever been inside one house, but it'd left an impression on her! There was a smile as she moved towards the door. "There's a door which is like a hole. See I have a key which locks it so people can't just walk in when I'm not home and it goes here." she pointed to the lock. "But there's no one else around here but you, and it's not locked. So I turn the knob and....tada!" the door opened inward giving access to the house. "See? Sort of like a hole. Come on in, and I'll show you around."

"Ooooooh," Cecily murmured, inspecting the door with the innocent curiosity of someone unexposed to houses. "That's much better than trying to hide a tree knothole." She made a face. "I had to fight off lots of Pachirisu who wanted my home," the shiny celebi explained, trotting inside the door.
Immediately she stopped and stared around in awe. "There's so much room! So much stuff! But room! How?!?"

"I imagine that it is. A few things have tried getting in, but definitely no pokemon. Houses tend to make wild ones wary." which was a plus! There was a smile at the surprised expression. "Well a house has various rooms. A living room to spend time in with others, doing things like reading or watching tv. There's a kitchen for eating. Bathrooms for taking showers or baths, and relieving ones self, and then there's bedrooms where you sleep, and keep clothing and all. So it's like a very roomy tree I guess. Here let me show you around."

Lirilei It's alive. It's ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE! "It would take a lot of trees to hold everything in here," Cecily murmured, expression awed as she poked experimentally at one of the walls. "Uhm... what's a TV, though? And why do you watch it? Does it do tricks?" She frowned, pulling her hand back, and peered at the Manaphy girl almost suspiciously. "And how do you keep from getting trapped inside? That 'door' thing - it opens both ways, right? You don't have to be outside to open it? You can go back out whenever you want?"

Phee gave a warm laugh at all of Cecily's questions. "Here, lets start with the door since we're right by it." and she opened it again from the inside this time, letting it swing outward. "You can open it and close it from either side, no worries there. TV's show pictures on them. I'll show you that." and she reclosed the front door and crossed over to it, and turned it on, a cartoon flitting across the screen.
