The shelter group consists of the players of Laurence, Gepardo, Cara, Katori, and Remmy. If you have not signed up with a group, please go to the main ORP thread and randomize a group.

Together, the stranded travelers made their way to the site where they were going to build their camp. The shelter party didn't have to do any further traveling, but they had to gather supplies either by collecting them from the ground or cutting them off trees. For this task, they were going to be needing knives. After collecting enough, they were going to have to tie the branches up using the twine the Captain had given them.
The area around the oasis consisted of tall grass, palm trees, low shrubs, and berry bushes. The plants appeared to grow out of the sand, but there was probably dirt underneath for the plants to stabilize themselves in the shifting desert terrain.

(( Bring a knife if you are going to cut branches and leaves. All rolls require an RP post with it to count. ))
Part 1. Collecting. Randomize between 0-10 to find branches and leaves! You may keep rolling and do not need to wait for others to post. Keep a count of successful materials gathered at the bottom of every post. The group will need 1150 (50 for everyone active in the group) branches/leaves to be successful. If more active people join in this portion of the RP, you will need 50 more per person. Collect all branches/leaves before moving onto part 2.Don't forget to drop off branches and leaves at the campsite if you are carrying a lot!
Part 2. Building. Roll two 10-sided dice! The first one determines number of branches/leaves. The second one determines whether you successfully bundled the branches/leaves. You will have to bundle all 1150 branches/leaves to successfully build the shelter!
1-9. Success. Add your branches to the total. 10. You used too much strength and broke the twine/branch or the bundle comes undone. Subtract your number of branches from the total! This is so frustrating, you need a break (see part 3).
OPTIONAL Part 3. Frustration. Randomize between 1-100. You can try once per failure. You decide to take a break because of your recent failure. Pokemon sightings only count for you. If you have already seen the pokemon, you do not need to do this part.
1-89. You relax and now have the energy to continue! 90-100. Spot a pokemon in the wild! If you try to capture it, it escapes. The colors on this one seems a bit different from the other rattatas you have seen.
If your group is done building shelter (or if you want to ditch your group), you may choose to help out another group. Make an exit post in this thread to go back to camp (main ORP) and then make another post in the ORP to exit to another group.

Cara got to the 'shelter site' and she and Spirit immediately started gathering branches/twigs. Cara had Spirit using Air Cutter attacks on the limbs of older trees. She hated to cut away at younger trees who were still very much growing.
Spirit's first attack chopped down three branches. "Great work Spirit, let's keep it up." Cara called up to the flying Pokemon who was quite enjoying the Desert atmosphere. She then began picking up the branches that Spirit had already chopped down.
Spirit hummed back her affirmative and struck some more branches down with Fury Cutter.

Cara picked up each branch Spirit chopped down. She knew exactly what to do as she continued her work.
Spirit was enjoying this. She quite liked the weather too, she did come from the Desert after all. The warmth of the Sun on her scales and skin felt wonderful and invigorated her.
Cara picked up the next few branches. They were off to a good start. Hopefully they could keep up the pace.

Remmy look at Cara then up at Squeeks. "Lets do this! Use Cut! Yeah!" He said with joy. Squeek smile then cut the small trees! He was liking this and he could show off his power this way.

Laurence pulled out his knife and began working away at some old, low-hanging branches. There were a lot of people and pokemon in the group overall, so they would need a lot of branches to build a large shelter. Still, that didn't mean that they had to hack away willy-nilly and destroy a large portion of the forest. These trees were probably already somebody's home, after all.
Kili jumped off Laurence's shoulder and into the tree from which he was cutting branches. She watched attentively and started gnawing a thin branch in an attempt to help, but quickly gave up the task. It didn't taste very good! She'd do much better as a director, and promptly began chattering playful commands at her trainer.
"I can't work any faster, Kili," Laurence said, playing along.

Once the tree he was working on ran out of easily-cut branches, or it began to seem a bit too thin and sad to him, Laurence moved on to the next in the hopes that he would not irreparably damage the trees. Kili would hitch a ride from tree to tree and continue to watch.
"I hope my knife doesn't get too dull before we're done," Laurence said with some concern. The branches began to pile up around his feet, and his hands were sticky from sap.

Laurence rubbed the flat of his knife against his jeans in an attempt to clean it. "I didn't think about how messy this would be," he mused. He glanced at the others; their pokemon had attacks that seemed to be quite effective against the branches. He would have to rely on his own strength... but he wouldn't want young Kili to be going through this hard labor anyway.
So he straightened his back and got back to work.

Now that Laurence had a decent pile, he heaved them into his arms and headed back to where the group was dumping their branches and leaves in preparation to build the shelter. Kili jumped onto his shoulder just in time so that she was not left behind in the tree.
Freed of his burden, Laurence returned to the task and began a new pile at his feet.

Remmy wasn't allowed to have a knife so he left the cutting to Squeeks! He Cheer Squeek out as he cut more small trees down.
Squeek like doing this and got into a nice pace. He like messing around like this
Remmy Gather the stick that flew down as Squeek cut them and sat them in a pail where everyone else was putting them. They made a good team.

Cara picked up the new bunch of branches and leaves that Spirit had cut down and decided that this huge bunch was getting too heavy. She took the bundle and walked back to the campsite and placed her pile alongside everyone else's then got back to work.
The work continued. Spirit alternated between her moves. One moment she would use Air Cutter, on another she would use Fury Cutter, and on a different bunch she would use Steel Wing.
