The crowd was completely silent, awaiting what ever they were waiting for. Suddenly they were aware of what they were waiting for when El Mascara's theme song began. The crowd all rose to their feet in excrement, and turning to the stage. After a few seconds, No one came out from the entrance. The music would static a bit and then completely shut off.
"Five to One" by The Doors would be played throughout the arena and the crowd was confused. No video played on the titantron, nor a minitron. Not only were the fans confused, but the commentators/ring announcer was confused. This was scheduled to me a El Mascara promo, but for some reason he wasn't the one coming out. Finally, the "mystery man" walked out, and it was Alexander Martinez.
The crowd wasn't sure how to respond. Some boo'd, some cheered, some didn't respond at all. Martinez stood on the top of the stage and he studied the crowd, and the arena. Alex had his simple rock expression on his face, with no emotions what so ever. Alex Martinez would slowly walk down the ramp, staring at the crowd, not allowing any fans to touch him once he got to walking down the ramp. When Alex reached the bottom of the ramp, he stayed there and looked at the ring. Martinez would turn to his left towards the steel steps. He walked up them slowly onto the ring apron. Alexander Martinez would go into the ring and stand in the middle. He looked towards the camera still with his emotionless face. Martinez looked back at the ring announcer who was in the ring, and they handed them the microphone in their hand. Martinez took a second to examine the microphone, as his new theme song began to fade away.
Martinez would lift the microphone up, "For the past few months I've been away. I've been away under training in Mexico. I wrestled under a mask there for 5 months. You see, my time in Mexico allowed me to realize something that I have always deep down known. That is that I enjoy the fact that no matter what I do as Alexander Martinez, or Alberto Guerrero for that matter, that you people completely despise me. But now, I have come to face it, I now accept the fact that you people hate me for just being who I am. When I was in Mexico, however, it was different. Those people respected me when I had that mask on, they saw me as a hero to them and honestly I have no idea why. I had a mask vs. hair match scheduled against my biggest rival in Mexico, the biggest enemy to the crowd in Mexico. The people depended on me to beat him and to shave his head completely bald for them. However, before the match I realized that the mask was holding back who he was. I stormed out to the ring and ripped that mask off myself, even before the match, completely breaking the Mexican tradition. I ripped my contract up and left Mexico for good. When I signed again with TNWF I wanted to prove my theory, and I threw the mask on again. The second I walked through the curtains as El Mascara you people were behind me, now you boo me as I enter the arena. Well let me make it clear, I will come out here every single week and be who I am, and that is the most controversial superstar in TNWF, until I receive my deserved spot light"
