Lasarra Lasarra walked outside of the hut, a sword in her hand, her whip at her side and a bag slung over her shoulder. "Come on sister, we have to go before it gets dark. Plus I've already locked Izsha away and if we stay any longer than she will start to whine." They were going to get food and she hoped that they would get enough to last them for a while. It wasn't that she didn't like to go hunting, it was just that it would be nicer if food just came to the door. She preferred to catch and tame animals rather than kill them to eat. However she liked the taste of meat far too much to stop eating it.

Kelina
Kelina, who was of course excited about this trip, gave Lasarra a pat on the back. "I'm ready." She said as she threw her quiver around her waist and her bow ofer her shoulder. "We'll have to try and get some to last awhile. If need be, I can go hunting again for meet for Izsha and any other animals you tame." She knew that her sister hated hunting animals, but enjoyed eating which was why she tried to accompany Kelina on hunting trips. Making sure to always keep a firm grasp on her beloved bow, she kept a decent pace that would allow them to cover enough ground and not be out too long. "Right over there in that clearing is where I saw some animals the other night. If I perch up here in the trees, and you on the ground, we should have better luck."

Lasarra She nodded. "Hopefully soon Izsha will be able to hunt for herself, that will at least make it easier since we won't have to feed her. Maybe I can teach her to catch things for us?" That would make things even easier, and would mean less work for Kelina and herself. Looking at Kelina's bow she frowned for a second before smiling again. She was proud of her sister for going up in rank, she really was, but she wasn't happy that she hadn't. She wasn't sure exactly who would promote her, or anything to do with beast taming. Most of what she knew she gathered from random people along the way. The clearing was pretty close, which wasn't all that bad. "Just make sure not to shoot me." she teased her sister as she looked for some where to hide in the clearing

Kelina Kelina rolled her eyes at her sister's joke. "I'm almost positive that I've practiced enough not to hit you. It would be very helpful if you could teach Izsha to help. That way when you tame even more animals, you'll have a helper!" She always enjoyed spending time with her sister, especially when they were out of the house. But, it was time to get serious. They need to bring home some food so they had to focus now. Climbing up the tree, she stood near the trunk since that was where the limb was more stable. "Let me know if you see anything down there."

Lasarra Lasarra smiled. Yes she still liked to mess with her sister, though she knew that Kelina was perfect and wouldn't hit her. She had seen her sister practice and knew that she was skilled. Plus she wouldn't have been promoted if she wasn't good at it. "Yes, plus that means if I'm busy she will be able to go with you and keep you company." She wanted to sound more time just chilling with her sister but unfortunately they had to catch something or starve. "Okay I'll call up to you if I do. We need a secret code sound that won't give away the fact that we aren't animals." she realized

Kelina Kelina's smile was constant as Lasarra of course was one step ahead of her. "Just whistle like a bird or something and I'll hear it." Kel couldn't think of any other kind of signal that would work. Standing at the ready, she waited for Lasarra to get into a good position before they would just wait for some animal to come along. Kelina's eyes were big as she took in every speck of light and watched every movement in the forest for even the slightest sight of an animal. It was several minutes and still nothing. But this is why they were patient. They would have to wait for the animals to come to them. It wasn't easy sometimes, and Kelina often wished she could will animals to appear, but that wasn't how it worked. An inaudible sigh escaped her mouth but she wouldn't let her guard down.

Lasarra Lasarra nodded quickly before disappearing from her sisters view into hiding. She moved around a little, trying to find the best cover, but eventually grew still when she found a place she was sure she wouldn't be seen by anything at. Time had passed, and Lasarra was considering telling Kelina that maybe they should find another place to go look since the animals must have heard them coming when she heard a sound. From the corner of her eye she spotted it, the largest radaku she had ever seen. It was scratched across the face and looked murderous. She was pretty sure this wasn't anyone's pet. She made the bird sound and took out her whip slowly. Hopefully Kelina would hit it with her arrow and than Lasarra would finish it off.

Kelina Kelina snapped her vision to where her sister had hidden when she heard the whistle. Panning her vision across, she looked down the arrow shaft to always have the line of vision that her arrow will take. At first, Kelina didn't see it from the viewpiont she had. It took a few moments and for the Radaku to get dangerously close to her sister for her to finally have a line of sight on it. Lining her arrow up with where the animal's heart would be, she let loose her arrow. But something went ary. Be it the slight wind that moved the arrow the slightest bit, or the radaku's thick skin for his large size but the animal wasn't taken down immediately!

Lasarra Lasarra waited for her sister, with any luck there would be no problems and everything would go smoothly. She heard before she saw the arrow and moved into view as it struck the beast. However even though she thought it would going to be a fatal arrow, and she was sure her sister thought the same, the radaku was nothing more than enraged. "s**t…" Lasarra said as the beast came running towards her. She managed to strike it with her whip but not before it lashed out with it's claws at one of her legs. "Kel help!" She screamed hoping her sisters next arrow would finish the animal off before it could do any more damage to her leg.

Kelina Worried on behalf of her sister, her second arrow wasn't far after her first, but it wasn't quick enough. Even with Lasarra's whip, the animal still stuck out, it's claws scraping against her legs. An enraged shout of her own accompanied her second arrow. Following her second arrow that flew straight and true, right to the animal's heart, Kelina jumped down off the tree even before the arrow struck. She ran as fast as her legs would carry her towards Lasarra. The radaku having fallen just to the side of Lasarra. Whipping out the small dagger that she always kept with her, she made sure to slit the radaku's throat just to make sure. Precious bow dropped, she kneeled beside Lasarra. A furrowed brow and clear shock in her eyes her head shook as well as her hands. "Lasarra...I..." But she had no words to say that could fix what had just happened.

Lasarra Lasarra didn't even know that her sister had killed the radaku, for all she knew it could have ran away, because her vision was becoming blurry from the pain. Her leg was killing her, and even though she couldn't see clearly she could see that there was a lot of red on her leg. Red meant blood, which wasn't a good thing considering it shouldn't be in her body and not out of it. Vaguely she was aware of her sister besides her. "Just… Just get home… I think I can stand with help…" she said quietly, though she wasn't so sure she could. Leaning on Kelina she might be able to make it home, but she wasn't all that sure. Some part of her mind knew that if Kelina helped her that the radaku meat would stay there and than some animal would get it before Kelina could come back but that part was quickly silenced by pain she felt.

Kelina Picking up her bow once more and threw it over her shoulder so she could carry it easier. "Come on. I'll get you home." Kelina knew she wasn't very strong, but she would do whatever she could to get her sister home. Grabbing her sister's arm, she hoisted her up, trowing her arm over her shoulder so that she would bear most of the weight. "Just hang in there and I'll get you home." Kelina made sure that she bore most of the weight. She begged her legs to be strong and not shake as they were from the sheer shock of everything that had happened. Her mouth was set in a firm line as she would not let herself cry from how scared she was. They would make it home, and Lasarra would be okay. She might have some scaring but she would be okay. Those thoughts cycled through Kelina's mind, the radaku not even on her mind at all.

Lasarra Lassarra tried to nod when her sister spoke, but even that was painful for her. She grimaced when her sister helped her up, doing all that she could to not cry out in pain. She had to be strong for her sister. Plus it couldn't be that bad, it was just a stray radaku. As long as she didn't get infected she would be fine. Right? She tried to put some weight on her bag leg, just to see if she could, and a small cry escaped her lips. Okay that wasn't a good idea, however she could still feel her leg so at least she knew that she would be able to walk on it when it healed. Or at least she hoped that was what it meant, she wasn't a healer so she couldn't be sure. She tried to put as little weight on Kelina as she could, however due to the fact she only had one good leg that was still at a lot. "I guess leaving Izsha wasn't the best idea…" she said quietly trying to make her sister smile.

Kelina Kelina's brow furrowed in concentration that when her sister winced, she tightened her grip on her side. With Lasarra's attempt to put weight on her leg, Kelina tried to bear more of the weight, and with all the adrenaline, she was fairly successfull. She could probably carry Lasarra if she had to. The moved at a slow pace, but it was remarkably fast considering their situation. "Probably not. You should have just stayed in the trees with me. It was reckless of me to have you out there like that." It was more of chiding herself than her sister. Kelina felt that all of this could have been avoided if several things had happened, she had actually got the shot on the first time, and if she would have had Lasarra in the trees with her. Inwardly, she was beating herself up over this.
