Tossing his head around and grumbling,Tsalar was trying to get leaves and twigs out from his mane and horns. He could already tell that during the winter he would be a mess.No one to help him clean himself up or even try to help him.That of course was because he didn't know anyone in the lands that was so generious. Or maybe they were,but they were so scared of the beast before them that they wouldn't even think to offer. Inside he loved the way he looked,but on the outside he hated it with a passion because no one could bare to speak to him. The normals just ran away. Why did his parents give him such hideous traits? It became a burden on him. He had met other monsters like himself,but it didn't make him feel any better. Picking leaves and twigs out of his mane still he stood in the middle of the plains near some small bushes. Maybe he could finally get them out if he wasn't sleeping near any of those tall trees from the forest edge.

The young female managed to get away from her family and her sister long enough to go exploring on her own. She trotted for a long while before stepping out into the plains hating that she had to travel so far out of the woods just to see some kind of sky. She smiled at the sight of the bright blue sky and even though she had an adventurous spirit, he mother was a bit of a worry wort so she had never traveled this far before. So she cautiously stepped slowly forward seeing a large stallion in the distance looking like he was having trouble with something. She slowly made her way over and kept her distance. He was a stranger after all and she was a little on the defensive side. Even with her small size, she wasn't afraid to attack him if things got rough. There was something that made her curious though and she wondered when she could sneak that into a conversation with him.
"Hey mister...are you having trouble or something?" She asked seeing him look her way making her brow raise a little bit. "Hrm...do you need help?" She asked seeing all the twigs and things in his hair. "Your kind of funny looking. You have a bird butt...those are feathers right?" She asked trotting behind him and nipping his one tail feather. "I eat birds so seeing one as big as you is rather weird." She mentioned slowly trotting around him then stopping in front of him and peering up at him with big eyes.

Finally giving up,Tsalar rolled his eyes.They would come out eventually.But that eventually would be a really long time from now. He hated the fact that his parents weren't around to teach him things that he needed to be taught and a colt. Tsalar and his idiocy made it rough as a colt living alone. Out of the corner of his eye came trotting a little filly. Looking around behind her trying to find someone else that could be following her as well,but not a sound. He grumbled under his breath when she started speaknig of his butt feathers and how funny he looked. But Tsalar knew she was just a baby yet. "Maybe,Yes,they are butt feathers..." He looked at her tail. Eyes shooting back to her as she mentioned that she ate birds. Tsalar gripped the ground with his claws. "Oh? Small birds?" She looked exactly like him besides the tail and color,plus a little fluff. Didn't know weither to call her adorable or ugly,his mind made him think both. "what are you doing alone?" Asking her as he watched her wander around him. Was he that interesting? To him they looked the same and nothing was really different. "Am I really that weird to you?"

Chosovi made note of his claws digging into the ground. She had to keep an eye on that stuff if she was going to be a hunter when she was an adult. "Yeah small birds. My father taught me and my sister how to hunt. I still need some practice though so that when I'm older I can hunt bigger animals." She grinned before looking at the twigs in his hair once again sighing deeply. "Well if you need help getting those out of your hair I can help. Just you will need to get down on the ground for me to reach." She nodded digging her own small claws into the ground. "I"m not alone I'm just exploring. My family doesn't let me go outside of the family zone which is the forest. So yeah...this is the farthest I have ever gone." She nodded to him wondering if this stallion explored as much as her. "No your not that weird. I mean look at me. I have feathers on my head, four claws, and a wolf tail. I think I'm just as weird. Why don't we be weird together?" She asked grinning a little more before looking around the wide open plain sighing deeply. "So what are you doing out here alone? You seem sad..." She frowned sitting down.

"Be lucky you have someone teaching you." Saying softly as he looked off into the distance. His head feathers started to move around in the slight breeze. Wiggling his wings he tried to keep himself a little warm. "Bigger animals,you say?" He nodded at the foal,she was going to be quite the hunter by the looks of her.Though he didn't see her in action yet. Tsalar looked over to his mane when she started talking about it again.Slowly bending down to the ground he made it to the foals height. He was laying upon the ground. If someone seen him with this filly,he would be a very easy target. Making sure to keep his eyes around him,he looked to see if anyone was watching over this little filly. Boy did this filly make him feel a bit down,someone cared for her,fixed her mane and tail. No one ever did that for him and here he was getting help from a tiny being. It made him think about what it would be like if his family came around.It probably wouldn't be what he expected. "Sure.Let's be weird together."Said softly as he picked at the grass on the ground. Tsalar started to feel even more down and lonely when the filly asked about it."I don't have anyone you see." He let out a grumble. Talking to her and telling her these things was out of his element,but he couldn't bring himself to be rude to a filly.

The young filly began to take out the imperfections from his mane making sure she got out everything she could see. She felt sorry for him because he didn't know what a family was since he said he didn't have anyone. How could you be completely alone? "So you don't even have friends? I don't know if I can replace your family or be a good friend to you, but I can try to be both? I mean family is very important and if you don't have any family then....who do you really have?" She said before finally picking the last twig from his hair and placing it in the medium sized pile of things. "Geeze you had a lot of things in your hair, but now your all clean. Don't go near any bushes again alright?" She smiled to him before rising up on her feet wagging her tail back and forth happily. She didn't know what it was like to not have a family. She had a huge one and it just kept on growing, but this stallion....he only had himself to start one. "So what should we do Mister? Do you hunt or do you only eat veggies like my mother does?" She grinned wagging her tail some more as she slowly began to trot away from him. She wanted to play, but it would be hard with someone who had so many advantages over her.

As she took the twigs from his mane,he whinced a couple times. It hurt and hair is so sensitive when being pulled. "I have ones that I know,but they aren't considered my friends." He shook his head at the filly. "I don't think your family would be very happy that you would want to be family to a complete stranger,little one." He stood up slowly and looked down at her. "I think they would chase me off in a second." Looking at the pile he didn't know what to say. "Promise."He said to her.Tsalar watched the filly start moving around,did he look like that when he was that small? That was another thing he wondered about. It was hard not to think about your family,or what you could remember from your childhood.Which his wasn't very wonderful since he spent it alone. "Anything you want to." He thought about what she asked him."Anything that I can get my claws on."
