Mathia's ears barely had a chance to swivel towards the sudden, booming sound behind him, jumping a little mid step and just about to glance over his shoulder when something went barreling into him, forcefully pushing him into the ground. " ................." For one, brief moment, he was stunned into complete silence and then. "WEG VON MIR!" Enoh Love I'll title it when I know what the heck is even going on here XD

"SHHHHHHHHHHH!" Helmut hissed out in a panic, wrapping her ice cold arms around his head to cover his mouth with an awful lot of sleeves. The fabric really did nothing to stop the natural cold radiating off of her. "THEY'LL HEAR YOU!" The ghoul whispered very loudly into his ear, and then ducked her head against the poor boil's back, low enough to force the muzzle of her skull helmet to sit on his head too.

There was a whispered shushing sound in his ear that had Mathias shuddering, though the shiver might have also partially been from the very cold thing plastered against his back. Being a warm blooded animal, the wolpertinger did not very much appreciate the chill that whoever was on top of him provided, but at least his wings provided him with some amount of protection against it. Though his mouth was suddenly covered with fabric, the wolpertinger let out more angry curses, and would have attempted to bite his captor if he could have, with fangs that jutted down over his bottom lip. And then another loud whisper in his ear which did not require to be loudly whispered into for him to be able to hear and he was attempting to get his arms underneath him to rise up and buck her off, his wings flexing beneath her. ....Suddenly darkness as something came down to obscure his vision, and Matty was opening his mouth to speak, though first he had to spit out the sleeves that were nearly jammed into his mouth. "Who vill hear me?"

Helmut was a small ghoul, but she knew how to throw her slight weight around. When the poor boil under her insisted on trying to get up, she tried her best to keep him down, at least for a little while longer. Her own ears were perked, listening for the sounds of whatever it was that startled her, and when she could no longer detect them she put her hands on the back of his shoulders and pushed herself back up. The skull helmet of hers toppled fully onto his head as she rolled off of him to sit on the ground near him, a bundle of worn clothes and a fluff ball of hair.
"The Bankers." She answered seriously, though a little belatedly. "They want to do your taxes and talk to you about Aresspees." The ghoul frowned unhappily, her droopy eyes peering out from behind a curtain of hair. "They'll take all your monies and put it where you can't get at it!" As it had before her voice never left a loud and panicked whisper, but this time her tiny black hands went and buried into her hair, holding the sides of her head as if it was a legitimate concern. "I don't even know what monies are!" She confessed unhappily.

He had managed to lift his face maybe just a few inches off of the ground before something was shoving it firmly back into the dirt, his teeth clicking together and his fangs digging into his chin. With the skull helmet thing over top of his head, all he could see were it's contours, his eyes able to see in the dark but well...not through bone. And then one final shove and whatever had been atop of him was gone, though she left behind that which blocked out the light. He let out a soft grunt as what was left of the air in his lungs was pushed out with that final shove, before pushing himself up to his hands and knees. The helmet pressed his ears down flat, but he was still fairly sure that he had heard her correctly. And yet even so, none of it made any jacking sense at all. "Bankers?" He repeated back to her. "Vut....that is..." He turned to flop down on his butt, reaching up to pull the helmet off of his head. "Is absurdity." Wait, where had she gone? He carefully glanced left and right, gaze sweeping low in search of feet...knees...anything below the waist would be safe. "Bist du Verrückt? This is joke, nah? Or do you have that...oh, vut is vord...Insanity? Schwachkopf." He growled out the last word, spying the ghouls feet and tossing the skull helm towards her. "Do not be vaisting my time."

Helmut nodded vigorously as he repeated the word to her, though she didn't realize he wouldn't have seen her do it. The skull helmet was tossed at her feet and she was quick to scramble and get it, setting it down firmly on her head. Sideways of course, just enough to let one of her own tiny horns peek out from the massive eye socket.
"Is not!" She defended herself in a near whine. "What's a veriduct? Is it a very big duck? Can I see?" She only had a moment to stare up at him with oddly wide droopy eyes before she realized she didn't really have to look up at all. He was sitting down! More than that, she realized just how warm he was. She could feel it, even from here. It was as much of an invitation to her as anything, and she scampered forward quickly to sit against him, trying her best to curl against his side. Waaaaarm.
"I'm not sick!" She insisted with a pout, before a series of tiny, overly happy chitters left her throat. "You've never heard of bankers? Where are you from?"

Veriduct? What? "Verrückt." He repeated, slowly, but no less harshly then before. "It is meaning that you are the crazy, lunatic, mad." He squinted into a scrutinizing glare, eyes raising a fraction, then stopping short of reaching her face. "Not duck. Ente is du----ACK!" He squwaked rather indignantly when she scrambled towards him, cuddling up against him as though they were somehow on those kinds of terms with each other. " Please be moving away." he stated, while shuffling his own body backwards to attempt to put distance between them. As for her odd laugh and question, his ears flattened behind him. "Am from most vonderful place vhere all volpertingers live, deep vithin large forest. No bankers. No need for such foolishness."

"Verruckt." Helmut repeated alongside him, her tone more in awe than ever. He knew another language! He was so cool! When he told her what it meant, she gasped as if hurt, her ears drooping. "Am not! I am...what is the opposite of Verruckt? Not-verruckt?" Nailed it..
"Why, are you hurt?" Personal space didn't seem to be part of her vocabulary if you didn't seem threatening. It had taken her a little bit to start to latch onto Hel, but that was only because Hel was an intimidating individual. This boil was tall, but that was all he had going for him in her mind. Plus, she saved his life. Clearly. But she let him move away regardless, just in case he was injured. She didn't want to make it worse!
"But that puts you are more risk! Bankers are Humans, you know. They go for the populated and undiscovered areas and put mortgages on things!" She whimpered, clearly very sad for him. "Didn't your Mama tell you about Humans?" She crawled as close as she dared to try and catch his heat from a distance, chittering almost sadly.

rkred]"Better." He grumbled, though he was barely willing to give her any praise at all for her language butchery. However, when she denied that she was crazy, Mathis simply shook his head. "You are. You are the most Verrückt ghoul..." He stopped, unsure now because he hadn't exactly looked to make sure.
"You are ghoul, nah?"
To her question he only pulled his lip back from his teeth, and scooted further away. "Not hurt. Not liking to be touched by complete stranger. Crazy stranger." He growled.
And then, finally, she explained further about bankers, and Mathias scoffed a laugh, and then really laughed because she was an idiot.
"If human then no need to vorry. They vould explode in Halloveen. Do not know anything?" He asked her, huffing as he pushed himself back up to his feet and beginning to dust himself off. "Even meine Mutter knows this."

"Verruckt!" She said again, trying to pronounce it better, or at least more like he did, simply because he grumbled his approval of her other attempt at it. She liked learning new things, and random words in a language she didn't know the name of sounded just as good as anything else to learn. His question though, made her pause. And stare at him for a very noticeable length of time.
"You can't tell?" Helmut asked in disbelief, her head tilting to the side. She looked down at herself and found the question understandably strange, but otherwise she didn't really confirm one way or the other. He scooted away, but this time she stayed where she was, her posture slouching and her ears drooping unhappily. "I'm not a verruckt..." She paused again, her gaze shifting and a cheek puffing out as she suddenly thought of something. "What's your word for 'stranger'?"
"I know lots of things! Like how to tie my shoes and talk and make beds and cook and hunt and---Oh, that's a...um. What's that word for a question you didn't really want answered? Is that what you were doing?" Hrm. This boil was a tough one to talk with. Actually making her think. "And there are humans in halloween! My Mama - Mutter? - heard about these Hunter things, they're Humans! Sort of. Semi-human. But Human!" She stuck her tongue out at him in a distinct neener neener you're wrong way, puffing herself up proudly. "Don't you know that?!"
But before he could answer - or more likely as he was answering, she interrupted with a sudden thought. "And I'm not a stranger! We intro---" Oh wait. They hadn't introduced themselves. Okay, so maybe she was a stranger, but she could fix it! "Ah...ha...Whoops. Um. I'm sorry, I didn't--" The ghoul coughed into a tiny, black clawed hand. "My name is Helmut Purge and I'm very pleased to meet you, Mr...?" Her introduction sounded more like it had been read off a paper a hundred thousand times, but it was an introduction nonetheless.
