In the second post I will list available races, basic physical descriptions and traits, and any specific information pertaining to the race.

In the third post I will list the available classes, their abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and such information pertaining to that class' restrictions.

-=Typical Equipment=-

This post will be used to show the typical kinds of equipment characters can start with. In some stories, like Steelborn Saga, I might extend 'Typical' equipment to include 'Potential' equipment that the characters can purchase as well.

Should religion be a factor for some characters, I will list available gods, goddesses, and demi-deities in the fourth post for each story. Sometimes a god(dess) will grant its followers a benefit of some type. In other stories your god may determine your magical ability and spell repertoire. In others, it will just be a matter of preference.

-=Magical Ability=-

The fifth post will determine how much magical power is available in the story (none, marginal, average, plentiful, extreme) and in some stories will extend to what spells are available to whom. (in the interest of making all characters equal in potential power)

In some stories, Magical Ability might include skills, not just magic. "Inhuman feats" might be a better description. (such as fighting abilities like in Hero, or Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon where the characters run on water, or bamboo shoots.)

-=Backstory=-

In the sixth post I will write the backstory of the roleplay. As I sometimes become long-winded I have saved the seventh post for extending the backstory. (I have maxed out the character limit on forum posts in 3 different forums and on deviantART.)

I might add to the backstory as the story itself develops. I often gain insight into my creations as I work on them, and others might have something good to add in.

In case I need it this post will be reserved for extra backstory. In some cases it will be used for alternative backstory, like a different culture's view of an event, so players from that culture can have their own beliefs.

In the eighth post of a story's page, I will list where players can start. If you're joining a party, please don't start halfway across the world. rolleyes

I will typically list how far away a certain place is from another, and how long it takes to get there. The climate, danger level, racial inhabitants, etc. If you're playing a dwarf you'd better have a durn good reason for starting out in an elven island community.

-=World Exploration=-

More areas to explore. I might have to use one (or all three) of the reserved posts to contain world details. Just because you can start in this town, or that city, doesn't mean there's nothing of interest between the two places.

I will list the location's proximity to a few places but if it makes more sense to go from one town, through a forest, another town, across a long bridge, and into the nearest town, I'm obviously not giving the proximity to all those places. lol

Maybe one day I'll even get maps for the first post of each story. wink

Updates about certain areas, events that might be happening in a party's area in the near future, etc. Not entirely sure what I'll put in here. However, better to have and not need and all that rot, eh? wink
