█Race: Koroki
█House: Twilight - Leader
█

█

█Height: 4'10"
█Weight:
█Physical Description: Pale blond, almost white hair that is long enough to reach his cheeks. His right eye is blue while his left is red. He usually has his left eye covered by bandages so he can pass for a human child. He has tribal markings on his cheeks, a crescent moon on his right and a sun on his left. Identical ones on the back of his hands as well. He looks scrawny, much like most prepubescent children, but his legs are well-toned from years of running. Can deliver a mean kick thanks to that and his small stature positions him ideally for a kick in the nuts.
He usually wears a white shirt and a leather vest covered by a blue-gray capelet tied together by a ribbon. He wears shorts with thigh high leg warmers and is barefoot usually apart from some bandages around his feet. When the weather leaves him no choice, Kishi wears moccasins and a long, blue-gray coat trimmed with white fur.
Always carries a tan messenger bag.
Guardian spirit takes the shape of a glowing sphere of white light with black highlights. It seems to be constantly dripping a black liquid, but said liquid usually vanishes before making contact with anything. Known to be quite moody too, often following around and pecking those it does not like. His guardian spirit is also known to carry around messages for him if the recipient is close.
█Personality: Like the majority of the Koroki, Kishi is full of childish enthusiasm and can be seen bounding about tirelessly. He is a fun-seeking child at heart, but his source of entertainment is usually at the expense of others' well-being. That coupled with his position and influence makes him a dangerous being as he has no sense of rightfulness or morality. He rarely feels any strong attachment to anything and does not comprehend the sorrow accompanied by the lost of a treasured being. In short, he is armed with the cruelty of a child, but gifted with the power of an emperor.
He believes in a simple world where balance is the key and makes it his life-purpose to maintain said balance. He does not dislike a person for doing evil, he dislikes them for not doing something good to compensate. It goes both ways too and he can be often seen causing trouble during charities or fund raising events. With that twisted sense of justice, any being can redeem themselves by simply doing the opposite equivalent.
Manipulative and compulsive liar.
█Special Accessories:
-Weight-canceling Messenger bag with unlimited space. He cannot store anything alive though, should he do so, the thing will die.
-Small Dagger-knife that he uses to collect poisonous plants.
-Dagger strapped to his waist.
█Biography/History: Kishi grew up amongst a tribe of Koroki that worshiped the Moon and the Sun, symbol of balance. They were a discreet tribe that only moved about in the shadow, shying away from all major historical events even those amongst Koroki and it wasn't long before they were dismissed as a negligible even more so due to their peculiar way of living. Their specialty lies in their understanding of Light and Dark magic, a combination and knowledge they pass on to their children from a very young age.
Kishi was taught the necessity of a balance between good and evil and how to appreciate the existence of both as without one, the other could not exist. His people believed that to maintain this balance, one must act as neutral as possible, even going as far as shun any activity that brought about intense emotions. They believed that if one truly wished to be a balanced, neutral individual, one must achieve a state of inner peace for stability.
Ever the odd one, Kishi found faults in their teachings and left them. He did not approve of their passive stance to maintain neutrality. Instead, he believed that one must look after the balance of Good and Evil and act according to the tides of battle as outside of their people, wars between both factions were a constant thing. Balance was an impossible thing without subjugating all to their beliefs, an impossible feat so Kishi took it upon himself to restore the balance between Good and Evil.
His opportunity came in the form of strangers requesting his aid for his knowledge of herbs when he decided to open shop in a city's slums. The fact that he was a small, independent herbalist with no renown allowed his client to make the oddest requests and at a very low price. It wasn't long before he noticed that some were requesting healing potions while others were requesting poison. It gave him the idea to start pulling strings behind the scenes. For every lives he would save, he would also take one away and for every life he would end, he would save one.
It wasn't long before his clients started noticing a pattern and forced him to flee the city he had initially settled in and opened business. However, some clients did return, and offer him more commissions. They were the elusive ones, ones that never talked much and had made investigating them a pain. Nevertheless, after realizing Kishi's intention, they started opening up more about the purpose and use of their commissions and before long, Kishi realized that he was taking commissions from Twilight.
Rise to Power
[My take on Twilight. If you have other plans, lemme know and I'll scratch this off and rewrite it]
One of the wonders of Twilight was their subtle approach to everything, employing people without them even knowing which allowed them to remain in the dark for so long. Having realized that Kishi knew, one of the core members extended an invitation to him, one he promptly accepted.
He started working as a field agent for them, leaving the flasks and beakers behind for the more skilled chemists. His duty was often to persuade influential people to act according to their wishes without them noticing and to gather intelligence. His childish and innocent looks were exactly what Twilight needed and the fact that he was not ambitious or repulsed by their means made him the ideal candidate. He was also oftentimes given the duty of messenger and relay messages from the higher ups to other members of Twilight or sometimes requesting aid from fellow members.
The Koroki would have remained content with his position had Twilight let all other guilds opposing Evolution fall without even blinking. Enraged by the turn of events, Kishi stepped forward to challenge the leader of Twilight. He received only ridicule and mockery at first as even the oldest core members have never met their elusive leader, but he persisted, dropping hints here and there that he may be one step closer to unraveling the identity of the man or woman pulling the strings behind Twilight.
He also started forging orders which he would send to other core members of Twilight. It wasn't a hard thing as all the previous missions and tasks he had received were written with different handwriting and without any particular seal. The only thing that made them official Twilight mission were the random delivery methods. He has started poking at all his food before chewing in ever since he almost lost a tooth on a message that had been slipped into his meal.
Meanwhile, his investigation had lead to nothing. Whenever he tried to track and pinpoint the source of his orders, he always landed on messengers or intermediates that were as clueless as he. Neither did anyone ever step up to denounce the false orders he had been spreading about. It was then that he came to a rather startling conclusion that there were no leader of Twilight. There was only a vacuum of power. The only reason that Twilight had yet to collapse and suffer from internal strife was that no one was aware of said vacuum what with all the secrecy surrounding them. The orders he had been receiving were given to him by other members much like he had been doing. It was no wonder that they were losing sight of their goal and it was time that he took things into his own hands.
Without any real "leader" to come out and denounce him, Kishi started sending out orders more and more often, often employing scribes to write them so that his handwriting wouldn't be recognized and before long, he became confident of his control over the upper echelons of Twilight.
Meanwhile, he is traveling about under the guise of a physician to gather information about the left over guilds.
