Evangeline walked into the ice cream shop and looked around. 'There's no one here.' She thought as she walked up to the counter.
"Excuse me? Is anyone here?" She called out.
"Yes, dear. How may I help you?" An older woman asked as she appeared
"Is the store open?" Evangeline asked.
"Of course my dear, how can I help you?"
"Can I have a chocolate shake please?" Evangeline asked with a slight smile.
"I'll bring it out to you, my dear. You go on and take a seat." The elderly woman said.
"Thank you!" Evangeline said and slowly moved to a window seat. 'Everything is so close together, I'm surprised my wings haven't hit anything.' She giggled softly and sat at the table. 'It'd be harder if there were people in here.'

Evangeline sat there, waiting for her ice cream, staring out the window. 'I wonder if anyone else will come.'

Evangeline was sitting quietly, lost in thought when she heard the bell over the door ring. She turned around and got a glance of a guy walking in and standing by the counter, a small smile on his lips. 'Who is he?' She thought and shook her head. 'He probably won't come and talk to me anyway.'

Evangeline turned back to the window and her hand fell to her harp beside her. 'Mother, it's so peaceful here. I'm sure you would love it here as well.' She ruffled her wings a little bit to get more comfortable and then settled down to wait for her ice cream.

Evangeline jumped at his voice. She looked at him, "Oh, I know you. You go to the university!"
She blushed when she realized that he already knew where he was from. "Sorry, I guess that was a little redundant. And I don't mind if you want to sit here."
Evangeline blushed even more when she was realizing that she was rambling. 'He;s going to think I'm some strange angel if I keep this up.'d
"I don't think we've properly met. I'm Evangeline, it's my first year here." She smiled at him.

Evangeline looked at him in surprise. "If you would like to. My father used to call me that, a long time ago." She giggled. She glanced at the pad that he had placed on the table. "Do you mind if I ask what the pad is for? Some kind of writer?" She giggled softly.

Evangeline smiled at the elderly lady as she placed her shake in front of her. "Thank you." Evangeline said to her and then looked back to Neah. "What kind of project are you working on? Hopefully something interesting." She laughed softly. 'Then again, almost everything interests me if I'm told enough.' She thought with a soft smile.

"Medical?" She asked, "Like healing wise? Or something else?" Evangeline was curious about what Neah was talking about. 'Mother taught me many songs of healing but she always said that the ability was for those with the true desire and the magical touch. Can Neah heal as well? Or is he simply trying to understand more about the connections?'

Evangeline smiled at him. "Sorry if i ask to many questions, i guess you could say that I am a curious person." She giggled softly.

Evangeline was stunned at what he was saying. 'If music is the strong, that powerful, that capable, then music is far more then I ever imagined.' She thought. 'Why did he blush and look away? If he nervous about something? About me?'

"You know, music might have that ability. While I use the music my mother taught me for healing, I also do it because it's fun and lifts my spirits. So it's possible that music can be inspirational as well." She smiled and leaned forward. "My mother might know more about that then anyone else, or at least know someone who might. But what on earth made you think of such an idea? If you do not mind my asking.
