Personality:Ren is an individual who is confident in her abilities. She knows her skills and power, often showing dominance over those under her and to her enemies at times. Ren is extremely intelligent, calculating, patient, while simultaneously unwavering and iron-fisted. She does not easily bend to the will of other people and will test their capabilities to their limit. In spite of her pride, Ren is known to be pragmatic and determined, willing to cast aside pride and using whatever means necessary in order to secure victory, even if it threatens her life
On the surface, Ren can appear quite human, of course she has spent years cultivating her skills, of subtle manipulation. It is all to easy to forget that mischievous fox beneath her sensual facade. To ignore the atrocities committed by her, as she smiles so lovingly at you. It is terrible deception, an illusion perfected after years of trial and error. Ren has only three loves; herself,her family,and her power . She will lie and manipulate her way into your heart to make you believe otherwise. Random acts of kindness, coupled with gifts you have long desired but never gave voice to. She will become to you as a mother, or a sister or a lover does. She will become your entire world. She will use you, and if you dare turn on her, she will annihilate you. Those who perish quickly are lucky, they are ones who have earned her mercy. But to those who she has grown particularly interested in? She will ensure their destruction is drawn out and painful beyond measure. The imagination is incapable of conceiving of the horrors her alien mind will seek to enact and no doubt take the utmost delight in.
Ren is for the most part narcissistic and has a true killer's instinct. She is willing to go to any means necessary to accomplish her goals, whether it be through attacks, manipulation, or blackmail. Although she generally tends to be polite, to some she can seem quite rude and uncaring at times. She is known to be rather reserved but not stoic, talking whenever needed or of personal preference. She can be seen as rather devious and intellectual, easily discerning through weak feints and lies without too much effort. She is also an excellent tactician, regularly displaying cunning, perception, and resourcefulness that allows her to take advantage of almost any situation. Whatever the odds, Ren never panics. She always keeps her composure and clear mind to the point of being perfectly aware of all her surroundings and constantly calculates her every action, never losing focus.
However, while these traits do have a place in her real personality, much of her outward persona can perhaps be considered an intentional facade perfectly designed to cause those unfamiliar with her to underestimate her remarkable intelligence and ability. Though she hides it well behind a veil of lies,cynicism and self-importance, Ren is a woman who cares deeply about the people who trust and support her and goes to great lengths to ensure their safety and well-being, even at the risk of her own. As a woman with considerable power, Ren considers herself a protector to those without the means to do so themselves and acts accordingly, which gained her the staunch loyalty of her most trusted compatriots.
Though she looks like a heartless person, she always possessed a good heart, and has always been kind to her family, and friends. She also treats the people who follow her as equals and works hard to ensure they are properly prepared before a fight. This even extends to her enemies as Ren is quite willing to spare her foes life if it is the better choice. Deep down she is a very guarded individual who rarely trusts anyone. She approachable to a point, but can still be distant towards other people, preferring to keep to herself if possible. Despite this introverted nature, she can still get along well with others, showing a friendly and warm attitude given time.
She rarely, if ever, shows any form of distress other than mild irritation. Likely due to her abilities as a Negotiator , she is not above taking advantage of someone's weaknesses and using it to influence them into doing something for her. Ren is manipulating and cunning. Ren can remain remarkably calm and composed no matter how dire a situation is and has impressively deep insight on various situations and people. In team exercises often seen noticing important points no one else had thought of and tweaking plans to suit the individuals own skill set. This goes hand-in-hand with her acute sense and judgment, which is well-respected by others. Still, she sometimes thinks it best to leave people to figure things out on their own. She does not waste her words and often tells people what they need to hear instead of what they want.
Ren is to be regarded with an equal mixture of fear, awe, and hatred by her enemies. She has been shown to have no mercy against her opponents or ex-allies. In short Ren is a cunning and ambitious woman who will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. Yet one cannot help but respect her audacity, her disregard for authority in any form, but she is a cautious woman. Intelligent, and patient.
History:
Gitsune Clan Legacy : The Gitsune Clan has long since been a powerful kitsune family. Even when there was internal strife, members of the Gitsune stand united to repel attack from enemies, living up to their title as the one of the best and the strongest. The Gitsune came into being after a group of strong thieves,businessman ,merchants,and martial artist came together to fulfill the their goals more efficiently. Each generation of the Gitsune Clan has donned formal attire when risking their lives to fulfill their most sacred duty,and can be recognized instantly my their crest. The Gitsune was once of the largest Kitsune organizations in existence, having an extremely large following and it was said that at one time no single clan could match them in terms of size, tradition, rules, or power. Due to this, The boss of the Gitsune is considered by many to be the capo di tutti capi, or the "Boss of all Bosses".
Saga of the Silver Haired Kitsune :
Kurama Arsène Gitsune was a child born into the era of warring clans,including immortals like werewolves,and demons. The children of today, they would never understand. They lived, surrounded by governments and fortified behind great walls to keep enemies at bay.He and his kin on the other hand, had nobody but one another to rely on.An era of warfare and strife, entire families were put out onto the front-lines. The elderly, the children and even the pregnant mothers, all for forced to fight, not for their dominance, nor for their pride, but for their lives. It was in this era that Kurama was born into and it was into this era where he lived his entire life.
If you were crippled, you were killed, simple as that. The clan had no use for useless soldiers and those who fit that bill were thrown away like garbage. He and his nogitsune brother quickly rose to the top of the food chain, gaining power quicker than anyone else in their clan. They were the great leaders of the Gitsune, the two whom all others looked up too. They fought valiantly together for their lives and the lives of their loved ones.
Kiba no Mabushō Kurama:
Kurama Arsène Gitsune was once a gentleman master thief renowned as the "Legendary White Fox Bandit" and became a powerful Kitsune solider as he matured.His name alone is acknowledged by virtually every law agency on earth as one of the world's number one threats,yet in the Kitsune wold he is revered as a devout Saint. Often in his adventures, he and his colleagues, took it upon themselves to foil other criminals engaged in more violent crimes earring him a vast number of enemies,but at the same time boosting his public image. Forever extemporizing and reevaluating, Kurama has been responsible for heists no right minded individual would believe possible. While arrested and jailed on numerous occasions, he always managed to escape. Before his fall from grace, Kurama was one of the most lauded success stories of the Gitsune Clan. A great warrior idolized by the public and clansmen alike for his strength and discipline in combat, Kurama had many successes in the field of battle. However,after a confrontation with an unknown force;resulting in the death of his brother Kurama's mood began to drastically change. It was this hatred that caused him to seek the power of Chaos to reek his revenge. In the years that followed The Kiba no Mabushō (Demon Warlord of the Fang ), Kurama lead his Clan against many powerful foes. He had many adversaries during his lifetime, and many of them have ended up crossing paths with one or both of his daughters many years later.
The Three Great Mazoku(Demon Lords) :
At some point,Kurama, decided to gain power through theft of very valuable artifacts from the most secure facilities in the Neatherworld , even gaining a group of like-minded individuals to carry out these jobs. The most notable of these individuals being Aster Tsukikage, and Makai Nurarihyon who he grew an unbreakable friendship with despite their conflicting ideologies. The three of them became like brothers,and would cooperate with each other during the turbulent times they were born into. During this period, he was introduced to Phiedra Altamira, a young Kitsune scientist who was researching Chaos at the time. Back then the Neatherworld and the various domains attached had not yet come into being,and was near impossible for anything to survive. The two kitsune shared similar values, and became good friends who would often recover various ancient artifacts together as well as assist each other in various other endeavors. Eventually, after successfully obtaining some rare antiquity and establishing their own realm, they fell in love and settled down.
Childhood:
Ren was born cool night as the elder of two girls. Her parents gave Ren and her sister the names of their favorite gemstones,and raised them with love an affection. Ren's childhood was like any other; she was raised well and was entered in a private academy to be taught basic knowledge, with her fathers exploits only bolstering her resolve to follow in his footsteps. She proved to be an intelligent young girl as her grades were among the highest in the class and she got along fairly well with others when it came to group activities,usually being elected into leadership positions. Since she was young, Ren was very protective of her little sister Jade,because she suffered from poor health, being afflicted with asthma and a weak bone structure prompting Ren to always feel the need to be around her constantly. and the two were as thick as thieves reveling in the stories their father told them about his youth. Jade would often smile despite this and play with her family like nothing was wrong. Like their mother she was inhumanly kindhearted, patient and understanding. She endured her handicap with a smile and was kind and empathetic to all those around her. It is said that in those days the Gitsune manor was full of smiles and a happier family would be hard to find.
Ren & The Lunar Trio
By the time she was 200 years old, Ren's eyes were opened to the reality of the immense hatred that came with her heritage when a few of her father old enemies came after her family in various ways . Ren, who was fearful for her life,but more importantly Jades, had no choice and was forced to "deal with" those that came to attack her when her father wasn't around. This left her mentally scarred and thus, she became distrustful of other people as time went on. Ren donned a mask of friendliness as she continued her schooling but in truth, she was very wary of those she encountered. It was during this time period that Decus,Lumina,and Yakō Tsukikage where adopted by her father. Though she was weary of the trio,she soon treated them like family along with her sister Jade. Decus and Ren learned swordsmanship from Kurama simultaneous,and grew quite close. Thier protective instincts toward thier respective sibling,gave them both a common ground to build thier friendship on.
Shiroyasha the White Demon Assassin :
Eventually her father distanced himself from her and Jade to keep them safe and sent her out into the most hostile environments around the Neatherworld for a few years to be raised and trained by his childhood friends. She then found herself jumping from one place to another, doing simple jobs in exchange for money. Most transactions end up well, but there would be times when the customer would take advantage of her kindness and try to innocently bribe her with free food and shelter when in truth, their intentions were not even close to good. Of course, Ren was no fool and would be out of their grasp even before they can even lay a hand on her. True to her family name, this fox of a lady would not let anyone catch her in their traps.All the while she slowly began amassing a name for herself.
Like her father Ren would kill any opposition without mercy or remorse.She would play whatever part was necessary, appeal to any sense or any characterization she can find all for the thrill of shattering it into a million pieces, all to watch another being fall. In this way she was a master artisan, weaving her manipulations and philosophies into the minds of others. She was fond of using the bonds of others as weapons, preferring to drown her victims in the slow and agonizing bath of crushing despair, humiliation and helplessness. Her enjoyment in the destruction of reputation, of life and liberty are beyond comparison. She will torment her victims with an almost loving care, tormenting them as they watch, friends and loved ones be consumed by their own demons.For years she toiled away, forging alliances, acting the demure woman when it suited her, or the ruthless daughter of the "Silver Hairs". As Ren grew into the rip age of kitsune maturity so did her beauty. The once budding lily was now in full bloom and began to attract people. Her closed up nature gave her an aura of mystery and soon, both men and women alike began to seek her out. Many hopefuls came and went as Ren politely turned them all down. By her hundredth year it was said that she was the strongest heir the Gitsune had produced in years along with her sister Jade. Upon her request she was send to 'moorim' a realm in the netherworld where swordsmen,warriors ,as well as martial artists who have mastered their skills reside. Upon her arrival, over 100 masters in moorim had waited for her; master's who's skill can be called legendary, myth even. After they picked the fight with her ,and were all mercilessly defeated over the course of 9,000 years. She proved that her natural skill and strength was better than any of them and gain the infamous title Kumiho Hanullim (Supreme Nine-Tailed Fox Being) from the beings that inhabit that world.
Decent into Chaos:
Moonlight flooded the earth, dancing through the trees and off the pond, bathing everything in liquid silver. Time had passed since the moon had reached her highest point in the sky but not time enough that her counterpart the sun was still hours away from showing his face. A faint breeze rustled the pond reeds and the willow leaves hanging over them. It was quiet, peaceful, and serene. Ren had always loved coming out there. Dipping her feet in the water, and gazing at the moon. Ren always thought the world were more beautiful at night. That is when everything went wrong; She saw streaks of light in the night sky and watched them move. She had never seen shooting stars appearing during this season and wondered why there were so many. If Ren had only known, she might have been able to warn someone. She then saw a figure fly up from the castle going at the stars and all of a sudden, she was hit by an immense force and knocked unconscious into the water. When Ren came to she lay on the ground, slick with blood, clutching her stomach. Gray edged her vision, and she had long since ceased caring that she was laying in pools of her own blood. It was her mothers servants that eventually picked her up and carried her back home, which was now mostly in flames. Ren closed her eyes, wishing to put her hands over her ears in order to muffle the incessant sound of screams and breaking bones as people were massacred by bright flashes of multicolored light. So much disorder and pandemonium around her, that she was consumed by Madness. Every thought and emotion stirred up a stream in the broiling chaos, streams, fragments and winds that whisk, whirl, twist and turn. Her mother had over exerted herself protecting Ren & Jade and died along with other clan members leaving only three left. For the first time in her life Ren cried out in defeat over her mothers lifeless corpse. All that training,and she could do nothing to prevent her own mother death. Though her father did his best to console is eldest child; Ren's eyes, have sense then been filled with hatred and malice, that long for strength. When someone looks at Ren her eyes tells others how badly she wishes to kill the beings who put her through the hell called loneliness. Drop ink on the finest snow-white paper and it will inevitably absorb into black. Its purity demands it. Tainted men have immunities. Black does not absorb black.

The Negotiator and the Mashōtsukai
Although she had some wealth and reputation her life Ren recognized the need to gain standing in the Neatherworld if she was to achieve her goals. Ren discovered a "run-down manor" in Demon City and decided to fix it up and make it her home despite her father and sisters protest that she return to her ancestral realm. The exact details of how she came to be a Netherworld Negotiator is still unknown,but she comes highly recommended and is recognized as a high ranking official. During this period she became proficient in making binding contracts thru both magical and normal means. Even the some of the laws of the Neatherworld were looked created or analyzed by Ren. She negotiates for anyone under the expectation that she expects the parties to behave professionally. Not surprisingly, Ren displays a distaste in particular for the Tribunal and Shinigami, and only takes a negotiation from them if it is necessary. She often pops up out of nowhere to note worthy individuals,and offers her services. She grooms them,nursing their potential, and giving them what they need to grow and mature. It was during this time that she gained the title Mashōtsukai ( literally "Demon Teacher"),and trained those that would become her successors in the years to come.
Kitsune of Chaos
The Chaos Realm, where the temple of the Gitsune stands, floats on the vast ocean of chaos into which all things must flow. There is no beginning or end to chaos. Those that fall into its waters are condemned to float for eternity in the rift between life and death. The ocean of chaos was accepted and understood by the First who then taught the rest. Throughout the generations the Gitsune have tread in the Unseen Realm of Chaos,and accepted its gifts as well as its inevitable curse. Here, a moment in history endlessly repeats itself without fail. Perhaps the same tale has been acted out in the same place at the same time for eons beyond counting, but such knowledge will never be the province of any other, but those that take on the burden of the sacred pact.
During the trip into the future Ren was reunited with her long lost father. Her joy was short lived as she was then forced to perform the inheritance ritual,and fight the man she'd been searching for. Ren defeated and absorbed the power of the her father Kurama, and now wields the power of the her clan's previous generations s her own. Ren has vowed to honored the fallen warriors by taking on her fathers sword,and promising to avenge her mothers death. She freed him from his fate and infused the Heart of Chaos, into her body, so she could protect her clans legacy until the end of time.
Rise of the Chaos Faction
When Ren had first found out about the open Queen position, she created her own organization consisting of her most trusted friends. Nobody knows specifically of what their motives are, but it's a roving band of eight powerful beings who call themselves the Rantō. These are not small timers... almost every member could be considered to be on par, if not stronger, than a Death Scythe. The Prescelti Sette(Selective Seven) is an elite group of warriors handpicked by Ren to carry out her plans. Their combined strength and influence are such that they live quite literally as though they are immune to other authorities, doing mostly as they please. Because of their power, they can declare chosen locations as their own; the mere declaration is often enough for others, both Shibisen and Tribunal alike, to acknowledge their authority. In fact, in the Neatherworld, they each have a territory that they govern. These territories benefit from the protection the Prescelti Sette provide, keeping the borders safe from any faction that might want to invade them. The Prescelti Sette themselves are not allied together as a coalition compared to Shibusen and follow their own individual paths. They have all just recently comeback together to support Ren during the tournament.

Natural Abilities
Chaos:
The Chaos is the special elemental power granted to Ren by her ancestors, but is also dangerous because if unbound, it would turn against her. Chaos is a malevolent energy and the antithesis of Order and where Order is to harmony Chaos is to disharmony. Chaos represents a state with contradiction and flaws in which the balance of the whole cannot be maintained. It takes the form of a existence-defying darkness, an immense and inexorable force, a creeping doom that even Ren is not even certain acts with a unified purpose or will. In the Netherworld and the Human world there are places where Chaos energy gathers and warps/distorts space and time. They appear as dome-shaped areas with glistening checker-patterned fog on the outside, and inside the vision is slightly dimmed with burning ember-like shreds flying in the air. Where the outbursts occur, Ren can absorb their power and form pacts with creatures that inhabit them. It should be notice that in these area's normal resonance cannot be achieved,and those afflicted by Madness find it difficult to control themselves. Chaos is so immensely dense the pressure it releases instills the sensation of drowning to those in the area. When concentrated, the chaos literally forms cracks the air with and sends devastating shock waves in the direction it is facing. These shock waves are able to pass through and damage almost any substance,and can even brake a resonance chain.
Zēreshunaidā; (That Which Slits the Soul")
- Ren has the unique ability to fragment her soul due to her immense soul energy similar to a witch,but on a much larger scale. She can manifest and infuse her will into a sentient creation as a weaker version of herself. When multiple bodies are controlled together the Ren is able to see through all of their eyes, thus registering separate fields of vision at the same time. With this shared vision, Ren can coordinate their attacks and provide defences for their blindspots. This ability can also be channelled through objects;such as golems and other such devices. Ren's spiritual energy splits and turns itself into another being, which can be used to resurrect her in extreme cases. If her "true form" isn't sealed, then regardless of how many times she is defeated, she will continue to reincarnate. In spirit form she can possess weak willed beings,or inanimate objects,but can be expelled by powerful exorcism or the victim dying. The total number of living beings she can posses at any given time is 4,and inanimate is 3. (3-5 post cool down)
Shiroi Kitsunebi ( White Fox Fire)
- As a child, Ren was recognized as a prodigy, by Kitsune standards when it came to flame manipulation. Ren's characteristic white flames, are much more intense than the red,and orange usually seen in her species and burn the spirit instead of the flesh. Ren also seems to use her flames in inventive ways, such as jets of flames,large blasts of flame, using her flames to propel herself forward like a jet,whirling disks,and blades of fire. Also notable is her ability to produce a greater amount of flames than most fire users of her race without tiring, as she is able to maintain successive assaults for long durations of time.
Seishin Sekai
- An innate skill possessed by all the member of the Gitsune family, which allows them to communicate mentally. Using this telepathy, the user can can create a dimension within the subconscious of their mind. This is referred to as the Mental World (精神世界, Seishin Sekai) where they can communicate without outside influences. There are apparently two levels of this subconscious and according to Rens father Kurama, once a Gitsune is further in tune with their mind,body,and soul, they will be able to enter this deeper level of their subconscious. This secondary level is not penetrable by others, even if the user is being controlled unless they have an immense mental power. This can amplify thought waves and broadcasts them to a specific location through illusionary bodies as well.
Techniques
Yōgan (Demon Gun)/Chō Yōgan lit. (Super Demon Gun)
- Ren can fire concentrated demon energy from from various points on her body, such as from her hand, tails, or chest. At first, she requires some time to charge it before attacking, but once she has fired one, she is able to fire many consecutive blasts in quick succession. Yōgan is a powerful attack that can also be fired in a fan-like wave,or a more compressed sphere. When fired, it shines an immense white light that can burn the surrounding area it comes into contact with, and even leave those who stare at it temporarily blind. The latter is an ultimate version of her demon gun , where an intense concentration of energy is released as a enormous sphere.
Kaosu no Juin (Cursed Seal of Chaos)
- Ren has a habit of taking those she has made contracts with and granting them power using chaos shown by a special seal on their person . If the contracted person has enough strength of will, they can activate the Seals power and gain the powers of an immortal. However, if they waver, they will be enslaved in chains of chaos, and become the latest in a line of Rens eternal servants. These individuals, are marked with indelible brands that can only be removed by Ren. They gain significant boost in power as well as the Chaotic power of Dissonance, but also bear the burden of completing a task known as a Focus for Ren.The contracted are not outright told what their Focus is; instead, they must figure it out with the aid of an ambiguous vision revealed to them at the moment of branding. If a contracted individual fails to complete the Focus they will transform into a chaotic entity known as a Shinmetsu Jūshin (Lost Soul Beast). The brands that mark a seal bearer as one of Ren's chosen change gradually, passing through several different stages. When the bearer reaches the brand's final stage they become a Shinmetsu. A brand's rate of progression depends partly on the difficulty of the users Focus. It is also linked closely to the individual's mental state, with severe psychological trauma sometimes spurring rapid advancement.
Hwanung Kumiho Ransei( Supreme Divine Regent of the Nine-Tailed Fox,Chaos Rebirth:
- After discovering chaos Ren's ancestors developed a way to seal away the power deep within themselves by materializing a sort of conceptual container around their spiritual core that restricts the flow of the immense chaos. Because of this, she is able to assimilate a large portion of their energy channels with chaos. Ren uses Ransei to draw out that power; now being able to actually control it due to training. In doing so, her body transforms to reflect this release and she assumes a more chaotic form more befitting her origins. The use of Ransei grants Ren not only greater power and a boost in her physical capabilities but also enhances her latent animal instinct while allowing her to maintain her sense of self. When activated Ren's hair lengthens to run down her back,and her legs are covered in an armor like coating. The white around her eyes darken to pitch black, while her pupils glow pink. Dark markings form beneath that travel down her body. When this mode is activated, it increases her speed drastically,by charging her muscles to give the them a weightless effect focusing it the most at the feet to move faster than most people's eye's can follow. This animalistic agility allows her to push off of air,or water, stepping so lightly that there is no sound generated nor enough pressure to set off most traps or leave a trace of her movement. This mode grants her retractable blades on her arms, and gives her four whip-like attachments, which can extend to great lengths, from her hair. Last 7-8 posts with a five post cool down.
Kumiko Hanillum Ginkogō ((Supreme Fox Being Golden Fox Empress) :
- This form is commonly associated with the kitsune messengers of the rice deity Inari, for reasons that are obscure. Japanese folklore contains several stories that suggest explanations for the connection, mainly involving the Fushimi Inari Shrine on Mount Inari near Kyoto. On this mountain are a vast number of shrines, mainly to Inari, but also to other deities, including a fox deity named Myōbu. The Fushimi shrine itself contains smaller shrines, including the Byakko-sha ("white fox shrine"). Ren along with her sister restores/maintains these shrines religiously. By assuming this form she sheds herself of all evil and becomes akin to a divine deity. When invoked Ren assumes the form of a nine-tailed kitsune with fur of a white color and nine tails. Her tails seem to be dipped in red ink with bangles representing the Kitsune Elements. - The Heart of Chaos is the special vessel for Ren's own soul, past down to her by her father, Kurama. It is the front of the Kitsune's protection from her Chaotic power,as well as her greatest weakness. Only if another potential Chaos Guardian defeats her and takes this power can Ren truly be killed. Currently there is only one being in this world with that potential,and their whereabouts are unknown.
