It had been a rather exhaustive search to this point and Junjie was starting to think that his group weren't going to be able to find the missing Tilawen, "She really is good at staying ahead of us." He mused to the pair that were currently flanking him. The more that they searched for her the bigger the world felt, not to mention that there were so many places that they either hadn't checked yet or couldn't check. What if she'd gone to Soudul was the first thought that came to mind, a place that she would be allowed if she got one of those medals but a place he'd never be welcome due to his Orderite blood, "But would she go there?" He asked out loud. He really had no idea... but then again he couldn't say he knew what it was that she was doing at the moment. What was she looking for? What was she doing? Was she training? Fighting? Hunting? Or was it something else entirely. He really did feel as though he'd missed a lot when he missed the other hybrid's visit to his place.

"We will find her." The big, feathery Abellio said, giving Junjie the best smile that he could muster, not wanting for Junjie to worry even though Abellio himself was just as worried. It had been some time since they had seen the girl and that alone was enough to make him miss her.

Arjan glanced between the pair of them gave a huffing sound, then continued walking in silence. He couldn't say he had a lot riding on finding the missing woman, not as though he'd ever met her after all. If anything it seemed like a lost cause. Shouldn't they be worrying more about their own well being? Junjie should be training more, the Dovaa Sage's words, not his, Abellio and Arjan should be doing more work on their flying attempts, and he still needed to find someone to teach him what magic a bonded Drakein was able to cast. They should just train themselves and if the girl wanted to be found she would be. Words that he wouldn't speak aloud though, knowing that Junjie seemed to worry about the one he knew only by name.

Their group had searched the area where they had last seen Tilawen in the sands of Eowyn but no luck in spotting her there. Where she went was the question and they really were running out of leads. Sighing softly Junjie said, "How about we head to the oasis that's nearby? We can get a drink, cool off in the water, rest up, and then start the search anew after that." He couldn't risk them overheating after all, what use would they be to Tila if they did after all. After getting nods from both Drakein they started toward where he knew the nearest one was located. As much as he wanted to continue onward until they found their missing friend he had to look after his bonded, they were his responsibility after all.

Akilae had sunk deep into the natural spring that was the center of the oasis he was refreshing himself in. Only his face was visible above the surface of the water as he partially rested it against the bank. After nearly a week spent on Eowyn with it's infernal heat and stinging winds the hybrid man was more than happy to take a break. It felt so good to be submerged in the water, cool and cleansing. It was the second part that was most important to him, Akilae hated not looking or feeling presentable. It was impossible to not sweat and get sand stuck to you here though.

Still the job he was sent here for was finally over and he could return home shortly. Akilae, in his guise as Tyrok had been on Eowyn to retrieve information and supplies from Order of the onyx members who worked in the desert quarry. No longer a novice and well versed in his trade as a Fang Akilae was rarely sent out on frivolous missions. Whatever information lay sealed in the wooden tube he had been handed was clearly valuable. Similarly the large box of "supplies" undoubtedly held items that the Order had particularly vested interest in.

Aki's job had been to retrieve these things and return home swiftly. The young man had a myriad of ways, from the diplomatic to the deadly of dealing with any problems he encountered.

As they got closer to the oasis the drakein walking on either side of Junjie seemed to give pause. Abellio sniffed at the air, catching a familiar scent, while Arjan merely rumbled over the new smell. Their mixed feelings on the scent had Junjie glancing between the two of them in a curious manner before he asked, "What is it, you two?" They often had mixed feelings on something but so different as the way they were thinking and feeling at the moment. One showed familiarity while the other felt that whatever or whoever was out there was a possible threat. It was a curious thing, making him wonder that much more as to what it was that they approaching, "Relax, both of you, we will see soon enough what is out there."

"I think he might be at the oasis too." Abellio said, tail swishing slowly behind him. He knew the scent, he just couldn't place exactly where it was that he'd caught the scent before. It caused the feathered Ysali to bounce a little bit before he continued forward, eager to see who it was that they were coming up on.

Due to the curiosity of his Drakein Junjie couldn't help but to be that much more interested himself, wondering who it was that they were coming up on... though the moment they came over the dune they were climbing and were able to see the one down there, his eyes went a bit wide, "Ahhh, I see." He murmured, spotting who it was, knowing him straight away due to having meeting him a couple of times in the past. One of the meetings, the first one, was quite some time ago and was far nicer then the last one since that was during Rio's rescue. It was nice to be able to see him again he thought to himself. Lifting a hand he gave a wave, "Hello, Tyrok!" He called before approaching, not wanting to startle his friend by creeping up on him.

The shape of the oasis meant that sound carried poorly down to the water and Akilae had been unaware of anyone's approach until he heard his alias being called. There was not much risk, his weapons were nearby enough that he could have reached them before any attack could harm him. Even most Kiandri could not send lightning from the top of the dunes to the water so magic from a distance was minimal thread as well.

At the sound of the familiar name and the semi familiar voice Akilae hauled himself into a sitting position and turned to look in the direction the call had come from. Oh! Of course it was Junjie, that boy turned up in the strangest of places. Aki wondered what his fellow hybrid was doing out here, possibly hunting given that he had a pair of drakein with him. Bonded drakein was not a subject Akilae approved of but Jun was special and he would tolerate it from him.

"Hello Jun, how are you?" There was time enough for small talk and reconnecting Akilae had decided. one day he would need to sway jun to his way of thinking and that would require a level of closeness and trust the pair did not currently share. Aki had promised himself he would win over Junjie and he was not about to give up on that goal, even if it was one he could not tend to often.

Junjie smiled as he approached his friend, glad to see him again, especially under circumstances that were good ones. The last time their paths had crossed it was while they were racing along, trying to save Rio. It hadn't been the time to catch up with old friends but perhaps now was a better time for that? Giving a smile he started forward, closing the distance between himself and his fellow hybrid. Alongside him the two two followed, Arjan eying the other guy carefully since he didn't know him while Abellio seemed far more relaxed about it all. Once they were close enough the Drakein trotted ahead to get a drink while Junjie turned his attention to Tyrok, opening his mouth to speak... when he seemed to realize that his friend was sans clothing at the moment.

Had they stumbled upon him bathing? It was a thought that caused his cheeks to color before he quickly averted his gaze, feeling as though he were intruding upon a private moment that he shouldn't be. Oops... "Ah! Sorry... I didn't know you were in such a state I would have given you your privacy otherwise." He said in a rush, hoping that their interrupting him wouldn't upset him too much. His tone didn't seem to sound angry in any way, if anything he seemed as nice as ever, but that didn't meant that Junjie felt anything but embarrassed over the intrusion. He shifted himself so that his back was to the other male, giving Tyrok his privacy, feeling that if they were truly underfoot that he would say as much, and the three of them could be on their way.

Abellio glanced between the pair of Ysali before giving a little shrug and returned to enjoying the water, lost as to why Junjie was in such a state. No matter, he was sure that he would get it figured out on his own. The Kiandri Keindred on the other hand didn't even give them a glance, sure that if their bonded needed him that he would say as much. For the moment he just meant to enjoy the water source which was all too rare in Eowyn and wait for Junjie's word that it was time to go if it came to that.

Akilae resisted the urge to laugh at Junjie's embarrassment for him. He didn't walk around nude at the compound but he also felt no shame about his body. Hybrid or not he had honed it well and he was proud of how he looked. Jun was welcome to stare if he pleased.

"It's fine Jun, the water is nice, you should come join me, your bonded seem to agree." Anyone who'd found the oasis had likely been traveling for a while and needed at the very least a few moments rest in the shade of the trees that grew by the water.

Junjie spent a moment thinking over what Tyrok was saying, telling him that the water was nice and that he should join him. It really was a tempting offer given the heat of the sun and the fact that he'd been walking for a while now. He glanced toward Abellio and Arjan, neither of them seeming to really care about Tyrok's current state. Such things didn't matter to them after all and perhaps he shouldn't let it get to him either? He supposed that they were both men after all and for the most part had nothing different from one another... at least nothing that their different races give them. After a moment of deep thought he finally gave a nod of his head, "Alright, I think I might join you. A bit of rest would be nice after all." He'd just keep his gaze on where was most proper.

The first thing that Junjie did was plant his dragon headed staff in the sand, took off his cloak, hanging it on the staff, and then shrugged out of his heavy pack which he set down next to it all. He was more then happy to be free of its weight for a time, feeling light as a feather at the moment. From there he glanced from side to side, making sure that they were alone, before he let his wings out. It had been some time since he'd done so, something that made his back itch like crazy, and gave them a flutter. If there was anyone safe to reveal them to it was a fellow hybrid, not as though he felt he was in any danger around a friend, not as he did around a stranger.

With that he stepped out of his boots, hurried across the hot sand, and happily stepped into the cool water. It would forever marvel him that one could find something so refreshing in the middle of Eowyn. It really did help to ease the dried out feeling that the Ysali felt after traveling so far in the sand. Settling down at the edge of the oasis, his feet in the water, he looked over at Tyrok, giving him a smile, before he said, "This is quite nice, thank you for allowing me to join you."

Akilae had been pleased when Junjie had relented and agreed to join him in the water. Sadly it became quickly apparent that the other boy had no intention or stripping completely. Such a shame really, he was quite pretty and Akilae bet there was more to admire under all his coverings. Given that he had already decided to take Jun under his wing and show him the right path, Aki had no qualms about peeling away those layers and seeing just what his protections would reward him with.

"I don't own the water Jun," Akilae replied with a small laugh. he might have been here first but he had no authority over who could and could not make use of such a precious and rare resource. " I'm happy you decided to be my company though."
