Personality: Erebus is the opposite to his summoner, Delcan. He is very serious and wary of people. But being with Delcan is the only time when he can relax and have "fun" (meditate is his idea of fun) He usually stands in the back ground and let's Delcan get the attention and makes sure his presence isn't noticed.

Despite having fire magic, he loves the sound of rain and thunder and it is on these days, where he meditates more and calms back down and becomes charged up to wield magic again.

He also seems to relax around little girls. He stands very still and let's them play and tug on his ears. He is completely calm around them and trusts them to be quiet and not handle him so roughly. Unlike little boys whom seem to think it's funny to pull out tufts of his fur.

xxxxxxPersonality: Delcan is an all around guy. He was very respectful to everyone and can't really hold any grudge for long unless you persist on rubbing against him the wrong way. Yet when it comes to his feelings, he is an open book. When someone teases him about a girl he has a crush on, he blushes furiously. At the same time, he hates letting people down and kinda gets tired of people using that kindness he has against him. He doesn't want to upset people, but he wishes someone would let him lean on him.
xxxxxxHistory: Delcan was only 5 when his mom died after complications with the birth of his sister, whom died at birth as well. It's only him and his dad which loved him so much. It was hard on his dad losing the love of his life, but soon a step mom who was very considerate of Delcan's happiness, entered his life.
He followed his dad profession, a black smith, at the age of 16 to help his father in the trade. Yet it wasn't enough for Delcan.
When he just reach 19, the knights came in to pick up the swords that they ordered from Delcan's father. The Captain's sword, Captain Ysgril's, was forged by Delcan's hand. It was a test to see how much Delcan has learned and the captain praised him on his craftsmanship.

That is when Delcan knew. He decided to join the guard to protect the people.
After much convincing to his parents, they agreed and Delcan became a guard at age 21.
Summoning:
Delcan came upon the tunnels one evening while he was out patrolling the area, a complete accident.

It was a particular hot summer and the grass has gone dry and it was very easy for fires to start and spreed. Stumbling around in the dark on the outskirts of town he lost his footing near a rock and stumbled into the tunnels.

After that, he came to around a cavern with a cauldron on floor and a portal open. Delcan got up and clutch the side of his head as he walked towards the open portal.

"What do you want in return?" Delcan looked up into the portal and raised his hand, palms up.

Delcan smiled. "A friend who I can depend on...without question."

A pup popped out and looked at him sincerely in the eye. "Thank you...Erebus."

xxxxxxPersonality: A strange girl growing up. She is the quite type and people rarely see her during the day and if they do, it's on an occasion. Diana is seen usually at night when everyone is usually sleeping or out drinking. She is an eccentric looking girl and people usually keep away from her.

Even though she is lonely, she is happy the way she is and wouldn't change her views about anything. She wants nothing but peace but she knows that people would fight to try to obtain that peace as well. Which she is willing to do. She is a very open minded girl and loves to keep her options open.
xxxxxxHistory: Diana was born from a gypsy mother who was traveling through town. Her father, Alexander Midford, was an adventurous man who had fallen in love with the maiden known as her mother, Blake.

Yet her father was to be engaged to another, he loved Blake with all his heart and so did her mother. Her mother had died shortly after thieves have raided the caravan and killed Blake. Leaving little survivors.

Her father raised her and, even though she lives in a separate house then the main estate, where her stepmother and little brother lived, Alexander Midford came to visit her every single day to give her a lot of love and attention.

Yet, she also understands the hatred of everything as well. Her stepmother really hates her to the point where she was ready to kill her to do so. Yet Alexander Midford made sure that she was safe from anyone's harm.

When Diana turned 18, she could pretty much take care of herself. She had a run in with her Stepmother's guards and, with a sword in hand, took them down.

Her father taught her well.
Summoning: Just like everyone before her, Diana was summoned towards the caverns.

It was a random night. She was walking home from her work when she was pulled towards the woods.

It's always been like this. Diana was always drawn to the woods, even though they are dangerous and it has been a source of ridicule for her as well when she comes out unharmed.

But this time was different. Instead of going towards the meadow of moon blossoms like she always does, she went towards the back of a quiet waterfall. There, she found a tunnel.

Now she knew where she was going. Walking down the tunnel she ended up at the Caverns.

Diana closed her eyes and smiled, serenity radiated off her being.

Putting her bag down, she went down the center of the room where there is a cauldron.

From this moment forward, Diana didn't know what happened except that when she came to, a portal opened before here. She reached out to the portal and knew exactly what she wanted, even before the soft voice asked her.

"I want a friend," said Diana. "A friend who understands me to the point where we are a family. I want a best friend."

A puppy as white as the shining moonlight above, popped out of the portal and into Diana's hands. She cuddled closer to her.

As Diana hugged her gently she whispered "Selini." The hound gave a noticeable yip in happiness.

The bond was made.
