The Templar of Earth was not sure about patrols now, not having done any with this new rank. He knew that he exuded a lot of energy and that kind of an aura would likely draw some curious or more dangerous Chaos toward him, but it also might keep lower rank Negaverse operatives away from his patrol areas.
He would just have to see how it went by trying it out. At the moment, he had no reason to hide himself, thinking that he could do more good in the open than hidden away or by biding his time.
Leaping away from the library roof, he landed lightly onto a building nearby. He felt lighter on his feet despite the armor he bore, and he did not summon his shield to him since he did not need it. Carrying that around would likely weigh him down, and more than that it was a sign of aggression. He was avoiding that, for now, unless it proved necessary.
The Templar wanted to see what his new form could do, as far as running and jumping. He'd always enjoyed the way he got a boost with each power up, and he had not been expecting another one. He had gotten well used to what his Knight form could do. He decided to take a running leap this time, focusing on a building in the distance and leaping for it after a short run. He went sailing, further than he thought, and missed the roof by over leaping it and landing heavily on the ground beyond it.

Shang thus far had quite an unusual and tiring week. Still he was patrolling, despite having to take a week off from work because he looked terrible and just extremely unprofessional. His right cheek still bruised and swollen, as well as other injuries gathered from fighting his own clone and other's as well. He rubbed his cheek and frowned slightly.
While frowningly he stopped looking up at the building he was standing beside. Some was was coming, and fast. They felt very strong and although the aura was good, it almost made him want to run. He didn't think he really wanted another royal shadow clone bout. The colorful Princess's was quite enough.
He dismissed the thought however because he couldn't abandon someone like that. He stood rooted to the spot only to have to literally jump out of the way landing hard on the ground with the figure came over the building and landed on the ground beside him.
Shang looked up and his eyes went wide recognizing the person standing in front of him. "CAMELOT," he exclaimed sitting up.

Camelot stood up and felt an aura nearby, nearly panicking when he realized he could have crushed someone on accident because he had been moving and jumped too far to really be aware of where he was landing. He definitely needed to get a better grasp on his new abilities, but maybe there was a better way to go about it.
First step was to avoid public places.
"Shang! I'm sorry, I didn't see you there, and I didn't feel you there either. I was jumping and ah... I'm not very good at the controls of this form yet. Er. Oh." he realized that Shang was looking a little bit stunned, and it was probably just as much the sudden drop in as it was the powerful aura that Camelot now possessed from no where.
He cleared his throat.
"S-so uhm... are you okay?" he offered him his hand, to help him back up to his feet. He looked sheepish, as if he was bashful about his new rank. He didn't really know how to take it, either, so he didn't expect others to know. He just hoped he could do good for those that needed him.

Shang sort of just stared at Camelot for a moment before he spouted, "what happened to you. I though you were already a knight. You got stronger, your clothes changed. I thought knight was the end, right? Right?"
The offered hand was taken without much thought and Camelot's question was unintentionally ignored while Shang dusted off his clothes. He then went back to looking at Camelot like he'd grown to heads all of his problems momentarily forgotten, even the fact the he had been hunted by his clone every night, something he needed not to forget.
He then blinked realizing that Camelot had asked him a question, "uh yeah Im fine fine. Just a little tumble, been through worse in this week alone at that." He gave a weak laugh which made his bruised cheek hurt.

"I thought Knight was the highest rank, too, but apparently that is not the case," he laughed, sheepishly, still a bit bashful about the whole thing. As the first known Templar in the city, it was an adjustment period for everyone else as much as it was for him. He still felt guilty for bowling the guy over, too, which was not helping him be less awkward or feel less goofy.
"I'm sorry for crashing into you, I really am. Ah..." At least Shang could probably take care of himself if he was more hurt than he said? But he looked like he was all in one piece, and it wasn't like Camelot had hauled off and punched him or anything.
Still, having a full grown man in arm slamming into you probably did not feel great.
"I ah... I'm called a Templar. This fourth stage, I mean. I've got some new powers and strength, as well. It's... all a learning experience, and I'm trying to take it all in. I feel like I did when I first powered up... a bit overwhelmed." He laughed, scratching the back of his neck, though it was more a nervous gesture than anything else.

Shang nodded, "well maybe it's like being a page, squire, knight or whatever, you get it when you need it. Maybe you didn't need it before, but now you did. I didn't become a squire until the lady with the spear was trying to kill me. I mean I don't know. You've been doing this longer than me, but maybe the city needs this right now. Certainly gives the rest of us someone to look up to even more."
Shang gave a laughed, "its okay really. It was an accident and trust me, I've really seen worse. I mean have you ever been kicked by my sister. Seriously it's not fun."
"Hmmm Templar huh, sounds familiar, but history was never my strongest subject, so I can't really pin point that knowledge. Have you, um, tried going to your wonder and seeing if that gives you any knowledge. I bet that would help, or I don't know it seems like it could help. Look to the past and I can't remember the saying ..." he spouted before giving a nervous laughed and going quite feeling like he just wasnt articulating well.

"It does need it, you're right. We all have our own potential to meet, and this power that helps us transform... it helps us find those moments when our potential meets our need. Things like awakening and powering up... I think that's all part of the bigger picture, and our paths are constantly unfolding in front of us, as the need of the world around us demands."
He sighed, sounding a little too bookish and lecture-y for his own tastes, but he couldn't help it sometimes. He had learned a lot over the years, and he liked being able to pass his thoughts and knowledge on to others.
Maybe he might even help someone, and that was all he wanted, nowadays. To live up to the power he had been given, and do some good.
"I do need to spend more time at my Wonder. And I find I would like to visit the Wonders of others more, as well. I don't know what this new stage of mine entails just yet, but I am going to learn as much as I can." He chuckled, getting Shang's meaning, though he had not been able to remember the saying. Camelot was not sure he remembered it, either.

Shang gave a small sigh," its a good feeling to have some sort of certainty that something somewhere is trying to look out for us. You never know what the future hold, but things like your new power give a little more hope for a better one." Shang smiled at Camelot.
"Yes, I definitely think you should go. And you should definitely visit as many wonders and even planets as you can. I bet you learn a lot, hopefully new and exciting things. One day when you have time and I have more energy for it you can come with my to Shangri-la. It's quite amazing and really peaceful. I really enjoy being their, it sort calming in a way. I wonder if that just for me, or if other's would feel it too." He contemplated it for a moment before looking at Camelot.
"So what knew things can you do? How much have you tried to do? Have you trained any?"

"I think the same. We'll be alright, as long as we can work together and things like this keep happening. We'll never know everything about our powers and what's around the corner, but if we keep believing in our strength and what we can do, we'll keep moving forward."
He smiled brightly and nodded his head, thinking it would be fun to visit Shang's wonder, when he was able to bring the royal knight along.
At his question, though, Camelot looked thoughtful, then focused and called his crystal sword to his hand. It shimmered with magic and power, but looked delicate and priceless. It was made entirely of crystal, and he called it by putting his hand to the hilt he wore at his side, which he had found in Camelot before powering up. It was empty until he curled his hand around what should have been the hilt, and as he pulled his hand back, the sword appeared.
"This is all I know so far. This sword isn't a weapon, but it can purify Negaverse soldiers into knights. I think there must be more I can do, but I'm slowly learning about it all." He chuckled, shaking his head.

Shang nodded and gave a smile. "I sure hope that's what the future hold for us. I certainly would like to know more about all this and how things differ. It's funny because I don't particularly consider myself overly curious person , but all this changes you."
Shang watched as Camelot put his hand over the empty hilt and where there was nothing but a hilt, a sword now rest. It was amazing and Shang looked at it slightly in awe and even more so when Camelot said that it could purify negaversers into Knights.
"That sounds like quite an asset. If there is anyone who can gather more forces to our side it would be you. Maybe you will be able to tip the tides in our favor. I hope however that you are able to learn as much as you can and unlock all the secrets of this new power."
Shang stretched glad to have for the first time in a while, a quiet night and happy as always to have ran into Camelot.

"Yes, I think this blade will be the most important thing I ever hold in my hands," he said, with a laugh. Besides his baby daughter, he amended silently. He smiled, looking the shimmering blade over as he turned it, the facets catching the light and glimmering in a small rainbow of colors, shifting with each slight movement.
"Well, I'll do my best, as I know everyone is trying to do. We are all stronger when we're working together, which is why I'm trying to make myself as available to others as possible. Well, I hope I haven't been babbling too much, or kept you too long."
He smiled, shaking his head slowly.
"I know I can get a little long winded, but when I'm talking to someone like you, who is capable of doing something great, and seems honestly interested in all this... well, I don't mean to talk your ear off."

"Maybe," Shang said in response to comment about the blade, but smiled at Camelot mentioning babbling and shook his head.
"It's always good to see you Camelot and talk to you. I learn a lot whenever I get the chance to meet up with you and its been a little bit since I have been able to come to the library. Not to mention this is the quietest night Ive had this week, so Im most appreciative."
He stretch, not really wanting to end the peaceful chat, but decided now was a good time to try to make it home. "I'm going to call it a night. It was nice seeing you again Camelot. I'll make sure not to be a stranger."
He turned and started off before he remembered something, "oh I almost forgot. I met your wife. Imagine my surprise. It's such a small world. Shalott, yes? You're both very helpful. Tell her I said thank you again for helping me this week."
Shang waved and walked off, jumping onto the nearest rooftop and heading to where he parked his car.

"Oh? You met Shalott? I'm glad she could help you, too. I love her so much, she is a very kind person and means the best when she wants to help. I'll let her know you said hello!"
He chuckled, shaking his head. He imagined it was not the most conventional thing, to have two married, older people running around helping knights and senshi out, but in his mind they were a pretty dynamic duo, and worked well together with their different methods.
He waved his hand when Shang did, smiling and nodding a final good bye. He waited until he could not feel Shang's aura any more before he powered down and took to leaning on the rooftop edge as he thought about their conversation, about visiting Wonders, and his wife.
Sometimes it was nice to take a moment to appreciate how lucky he was, despite how difficult things could be.
