Missions
Missions are what keep the village alive. Performing missions brings in cash which the village can use to expand and purchase supplies. Performing missions also gains the performer Mission Points, which are how we determine when a character is ready to earn their next rank. One Mission Point also equates to Ten Silver, which means the character earns money performing missions, which can be used to buy new equipment and jutsu, raising their overall power. To advance as a ninja and as a village, missions are necessary.
Mission Requirements
E Ranked: E ranked missions are normally simple errands within the village. Anyone could do these even without ninja training, but they are used to train Academy Students and Genin in discipline and obedience. Academy Students may perform E ranked missions with the supervision of a character of at least one rank higher. Genin and up may perform E ranks solo at any time.
D Ranked: D ranked missions are only slightly better than E ranked. These missions are often more complex or difficult, but still are more for training purposes than any real use. Genin and up may perform D ranks solo at any time.
C Ranked: C ranks are the bulk of a village's mission based income, as well as being the first rank to provide much excitement. These missions range from transporting goods to and from another village, to raiding bandit camps. To undertake a C rank mission, genin must have a group of at least two, and one shinobi of higher rank. Chuunin and up can undertake C rank missions alone.
B Ranked: B ranks are only a slight upgrade from C ranks. On these missions the tasks are usually much the same, but real danger is expected and almost guaranteed. To undertake a B ranked mission, Chuunin must have a group of at least two. Special Jounin and up can undertake B ranked missions alone.
A Ranked: A ranked missions are more specialized than the lower ranks. These missions will almost always deal with enemies of the village, be they other ninja or the Daimyo's forces. Death is a very real possibility. To undertake an A rank mission, Chuunin must have a group of at least two, and one shinobi of higher rank. Special Jounin must have a group of two. Jounin may undertake A rank missions alone.
S Ranked: S ranked missions are reserved for the strongest and most skilled ninja the village has to offer. These missions will always have a very real chance of death, and the ninja will be dealing with powerful enemies of the village. Only Jounin and up may undertake S rank missions. Further requirements are at the discretion of the council.

Teaching Credits
Teaching Credits are granted to characters who take the time to assist others by teaching them jutsu or helping them with missions. Teaching and missions pay differently, according to the requirements of each. For teaching, the teacher gets a small number of credits for each jutsu successfully taught. Teaching multiple students at once counts for each student. However, it is only possible to teach jutsu of or below your own rank. Credits are awarded according to the rank of jutsu taught.

E Ranked Jutsu: 3 Credits
D Ranked Jutsu: 8 Credits
C Ranked Jutsu: 15 Credits
B Ranked Jutsu: 25 Credits
A Ranked Jutsu: 38 Credits
S Ranked Jutsu: 75 Credits
Teaching Credits are also granted for assisting lower ranked shinobi on missions. This is mainly achieved with missions that the lower rank requires a higher ranked member to even perform, but credits can also be gained for overseeing missions that they could do alone. In the second case however, the higher ranked ninja must act as designer and/or NPC operator for the mission, wherever possible. The character must be present on the mission to gain Teaching Credits.
Missions
E Ranked Mission: 5 Credits
D Ranked Mission: 15 Credits
C Ranked Mission: 30 Credits
B Ranked Mission: 60 Credits
A Ranked Mission: 120 Credits
10 Teaching Credits are equal to 1 Mission Point. Once ten credits have been gained, they are automatically added to your MP total.
Alternative Missions
Some actions or achievements performed in the RP are considered as Alternative Missions. These achievements are not assigned by the village, but as they are helpful to the village in some way, they are rewarded with MP and equivalent monetary reward. Alternative missions are usually judged and rewards granted by the council, but some, listed below, are rewarded upon every completion.
Defeat Enemy Ninja: Defeating an enemy of the village is rewarded with MP equal to the defeated ninja's rank. Proof of the kill must be provided.
Acquire Jutsu Scrolls: Sometimes on missions or when exploring the world, a ninja may find a jutsu scroll. Turning over the scroll to the village is rewarded. Scrolls are worth MP and coin equal to 50% of the scroll's ranked cost if used, and 100% if unused.
