And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah. And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew.

Yes that's fine and dandy. What was the relevance to the study? I'm not trying to be mean I just want to know if this has any meaning towards America being End time Babylon or not. What are your thoughts on it? I say the writing is on the wall that America mirrors Ancient Babylon to the tee and it's backed up by the Gospel and Tanak. Did you watch the study by any chance? It's really in depth.

That great whore of Babylon. It's going to be sad that many will actually mourn her loss. I think the time is coming, all believers should be prepared to flee Babylon and not partake in her sins.

That doesn't fit with Daniel's interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream...
America does have a lot to repent for, and will no doubt be judged like all other nations, but it is no Babylon.

Most interpretations of Nebuchadnezzar's statue:
Babylon at the head (Gold)
Medo-Persia (Silver)
Greece (Brass)
Roman Empire (Iron)
Some form of Revived Roman Empire (Feet of the statue made from Iron and Clay, broken by Jesus at his second coming)

It will more than likely be some kind of city (between seven hills - Revelations 17) in relation to this revived empire:

Revelation 18:17-19 — 17 for in a single hour such fabulous wealth was destroyed! And every shipmaster, seafarer, the sailors, and all who do business by sea, stood far off 18 as they watched the smoke from her burning and kept crying out: “Who is like the great city?” 19 They threw dust on their heads and kept crying out, weeping, and mourning: Woe, woe, the great city, where all those who have ships on the sea became rich from her wealth, for in a single hour she was destroyed.

It seems to me that there must also be some relationship in the way that city is run, and how its ruler will be, and how Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon was run, given its name...

New York?

Also, iron and clay, think of composite materials. The microchip you're using right now. If America falls no one has a country to sell all their s**t to. The market will crash.

Babylon is described as the world's dominant economic power (Revelation 18:11-20) and the source of worldwide immorality (Revelation 18:2-9). Her sins have "piled up as high as heaven" (Revelation 18:5), and she has "glorified herself and lived sensuously" (Revelation 18:7).

Yes, it sounds like the United States, but it is not. Keep in mind the context of Revelation 18. It is speaking of the Antichrist's empire at the end of the Tribulation. We know from the book of Daniel that the Antichrist's worldwide empire will be based in Europe, arising from the revived Roman Empire.

By the end of the Tribulation, the Antichrist's empire will have completely replaced the United States as the world's dominant political and economic power. It will also be the seat of the One World Religion headed up by the Antichrist's False Prophet (Revelation 17).

The important thing to keep in mind is that it doesn't really make any difference whether the Antichrist will reign from Babylon, Rome, New York City, or some other city. Regardless of which city it might prove to be, Almighty God is going to destroy the city, its king, and all its sinful activities in one hour of one day (Revelation 18:8,10). Let's hope we are not here to see it, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.

We read that the woman rides the beast, we also read that the beast hates her ((Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns), and that she is drunk of the blood of the saints.

"The beast and the ten horns you saw
will hate the prositute. They will bring
her to ruin and leave her naked; they
will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
(Revelation -17:16)

So when the beast (Antichrist) has gotten all he can out of her,
he and his conglomerate of kings will destroy her, more than likely because he wants to be the sole object of worship.

For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
(Revelation -17:17)

The Bible also tells us that all the nations will morn her loss.
That doesn't fit America does it? With how hostile many of the worlds countries are towards America due to its military interventions and foreign policies. I'd say that many today would not mourn the fall of New York or America, but throw a party. Not all nations have traded with America, or participated in Americas immorality. We read also that all the earth is deceived by the harlot (she is both politically, financially and religiously strong, spearheading a false religion persecuting the saints), and that she is drunk (it exhilarates her to kill God's saints) on the blood of the saints, and that all of those who are slain on the earth. I don't feel this fits America.

Revelation 18
New King James Version (NKJV)
The Fall of Babylon the Great

18 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily[a] with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Render to her just as she rendered to you,[c] and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. 7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ 8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges[d] her.

The World Mourns Babylon’s Fall

9 “The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, 10 standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’

11 “And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: 12 merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; 13 and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. 14 The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! 17 For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance 18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’

19 “They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’

20 “Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles[f] and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”

She will be seated on seven hills, and also has something to do with seven kings, five of which are now fallen (dead, removed from power or similar). Doesn't fit New York.

Revelation 17:9-13
9 “This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. 10 They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while. 11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.

12 “The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. 13 They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast.

Emphasis mine

The statue of liberty (which is a babylonian goddess) has to do with the seven continents the "Seven hills". Ten Fema regions. figure those as the ten kingdoms that will come. Once martial law hits they will divide America into these ten regions (The ten kings?). Now as for who or what the beast is there's speculation. And I beg to differ, if America was destroyed the world would mourn. We have the reserve currency, the dollar. We go kaput and the dollar crashes the world will mourn. The merchants ect.
(Looking at rev. the beast can be the banking cartels (The Rothschilds), the federal reserve ect. America since 1913 has rode the dollar of that private bank and their plans have been to microchip the world (The private banking industry). If they're considered the beast the wound they received could have been when Andrew Jackson routed them out. The bankers plan to utterly destroy America and have the power to. They also have the power to implement a method of mark people would have to receive to buy and sell.

On a side note what do you believe Babylon is? What about the Beast?

On a side note what do you believe Babylon is? What about the Beast?

I would be speculating, and though that can be fun it serves no real purpose, if I said who I believe Babylon to be. There are some who speculate it is the Roman Catholic Church, some the European Union, others the US, Israel, Islamic Caliphate etc, but I don't think there is any point in guessing. When it is revealed who Babylon is, it will be clear enough, and those that are in Babylon belonging to God will leave (Revelation 18:4).

The Beast has not been revealed yet. He could exist today. There is really no telling until the restrainer is removed (2 Thessalonians 2:6), by that point from what I have gathered it won't make any difference for you or me since we will no longer be here. What can we know about the Antichrist? He will be a fierce-looking man. Somehow his physique will be intimidating. Daniel 8:23 "In the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become completely wicked, a fierce-looking king, a master of intrigue, will arise. He will succeed in whatever he does (Daniel 8:24). What does it means that he is a master of intrigue? It means that schemes, and plots he develops are exceedingly successful. When he sets someone up it will work. He is a master at plotting. The dictionary defines intrigue as a. A secret or underhand scheme; a plot. He will hate Christians, and set out to kill everyone who is a Christian (Daniel 7:25, Revelation 20:4).

He will speak blasphemously against God, and people will no doubt listen, so he is a skilled public speaker. The times (perhaps the number of weekday, or the months) and the laws will be changed by him. With his mark on everyone on earth (physical mark on the forehead or hand) that will enable people to work and buy. No mark - no part in society), and with putting up a statue of himself that somehow seems/is alive he demands peoples worship. He wants to be worshiped as God. All people on earth will think he is invincible (Revelation 13:4). They are impressed by him (Revelation 13:4). The beast will not tolerate any opposition. What he wants to do, he will do (Daniel 11:36) much like Nebuchadnezzar did in Babylon.

Who he wants to kill, he will kill. Destruction will follow in his path (Daniel 11:44). He will be a king who answers to no one else. His powers will be from the abyss (Revelation 13:4). He will be a physical man (Goes to war, kills, demands worship, is jealous, plots the destruction of others, work for himself etc), made especially (2 Thessalonians 2:3) for this position. He makes a covenant (binding contract - peace, religious?) with many. He sets up the abomination of desolation after this, so the two are perhaps related.
His powers will be demonic, and he will preform great "signs", and "miracles"
(2 Thessalonians 2:9), matched only by Satan in the skill of deception, and all the world will follow him (Revelation 13:3).

There are many schemes in the world that have in them the potential of being used for world domination. Plans, and people desiring power that could potentially benefit him when he makes his appearance. Which one it will be that fosters and aids him in his rise I don't know, but he has enough options to pick from. Speculating though, remains just that, speculation, until he makes his appearance on the scene.
Somehow I don't think there will be any speculation as to who he is comparing his actions to Scripture. It will be self-evident.

There have been a lot of wild speculation as to who the Antichrist is. Many have been accused. Everyone from Hitler, John F. Kennedy, Obama, John Paul II, Javier Solana, Prince Charles, various Rockefellers and Rothschilds, to rock stars or celebrities like David Hasselhoff, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. It makes us as Christians seem like we are just looking for someone to accuse, and that we are playing a game of chance, or maybe are hysterical or worse, lunatics. It is like crying wolf.
