Welcome to The enlistment center to go to space. This will be your first stop in your Training and development for our mission. So if you are brave enough and are not prone to motion sickness (though it's no problem if you are) then apply today to try to be on the space station. You will meet your captain (Host) and co-captain (secondary Host) soon but first we need to process you into our systems (take your applications to be co-host). this process will take 1-2 weeks. This process will let us get to know you better to see if you are a good candidate to be sent to space. Now a message from our commander. Enjoy Oh and as a side note, yes we may end up heading to mars for launch locations to the space station.
You will find the first step of your training below (co-host application) then we will discuss further steps after.
((Ps...your host is a big Disney geek so yes I knew I would figure out how to put that video into the intro... *serious nod* ))

Username: Wintry Tea Years of experience with AURB: This year's ball (i've been on gaia for about 3 years) Have you ever worked on any events (links please):No, but that doesn't mean i won't try my very best and worthiness here! Be honest, what are three good qualities about yourself:imagination level: OFF THE SCALES, you can count on me, hard @ task Be honest, what are three negative qualities about yourself:hard-headed, sassy (in a good and possibly bad way), ignorant List three ideas you have for the room and explain:different co-hosts can be different zodiacs, and so the rp-ers could be like astronauts (we could work and twist it around) what is your availability:Mostly all the time What would you do if you make a suggestion but it didn't get accepted or implemented:i would go with the flow, wouldn't complain, and just be prepared for anything else. Anything else you think is important to share:hmm let's see... you guys are pretty awesome ;D Will you promise to uphold your duties as a crew member (co-host) to the best of your ability or let the captain or co-captain know:It would be my pleasure By Placing my username where it says (Answer here) I give affirm that I have filled out this application honestly and willingly: Wintry Tea, Affirmed
Username:iNk_mAy Years of experience with AURB:: This ball makes my FOURTH event. I joined up in 2011 in the Sloth/Zeal room and played Lethargy. It was so much fun that I came back and got a little more active and continued to stalk Lilchibiusa and the others. Last year, though not very active (curse you third shift work and college), I was a Co-host for the Old Character Room and played Don Quixote.I generally try and lend a hand for the mini monthly events as well mostly as a rp-er. Have you ever worked on any events (links please): I have worked on art shops to raise funds: ♧ ɢяєєnιғιє∂ ♧ I generally run a word game of sorts for the AURB event for the Room I'm in: GAME TEST And I have even hosted a monthly event back in 2012: The Color Games Be honest, what are three good qualities about yourself:I try to contribute ideas, and can be pretty creative in that department. I'm friendly, and easy to get along with. When properly motivated and time allows, I can be quite the go-getter! Being random and silly helps keep this all from feeling like a chore all of the time. But I know when to get serious and down to business too.
Be honest, what are three negative qualities about yourself:Making it to meetings on time, working odd hours makes it hard to be on the same page as everyone else. I sometimes need prodded with a sharp stick to keep motivated. Family and work obligations tend to spring up unexpectedly. List three ideas you have for the room and explain: Space Pirates
Main Plot: To treasures unknown, or to make it back home? You've signed up for a peaceful voyage among the stars on a cruise rocket, when somewhere near the Fifth Quadrant you are bombarded by SPACE PIRATES! It's up to you whether to join the rowdy buccaneers or defend the ship. It seems your leisurely vacation has turned into something of an adventure. Character options: Pirates of varying species, same with vacationers. * Either we could make it futuristic, or we could sprinkle in some Victorian-esque feel to it. Though with another room doing steampunk that may cause an issue. I instantly thought of Treasure Planet.
The Ship is Self Aware
Main Plot: The ship has all the amenities one could ever want for a life among the heavens. Though it seems in the past few years little mishaps have taken place. The cleaning robots have tried to sweep up people with the trash, and the cafeteria refuses to serve anything put that funky green veggie paste in a tube. Turns out the Main Computer is on the fritz and its up to you and a crew aboard the Ship to set things right. But you can bet its not going to be easy. Character options: Various space technicians and the captain of the ship. Robots and the Main Computer [this could be personified or a robot even]! * Again I couldn't help but to think of WALL-E, and perhaps a sprinkle of Space Odyssey for inspiration for the plot. With all kinds of silly hi-jinks for possibility for malfunctions it lends to creating a series of mini games and problems for guests to solve without being too complicated.
Life Aboard the Station
Main Plot: After a strenuous entrance exam and grueling sessions of physical tests you've been selected to board the Space Station! Though upon arrival you find that your not the only species that is going to be living out the next few weeks here. You're expected to work out missions and tasks alongside these ALIENS?! Was this in that super tiny fine print at the bottom of the paperwork? Character options: Various aliens and humans with various tasks to oversee. ie: Scientists, Explorers, Medics, etc. * A simple idea which can be built upon. Various missions could equate to mini games, focusing more on teamwork between various species. I'm sure there could be an obvious opposing enemy or maybe just some spoiled angsty alien prince or something forced to work here by his parents to boost relations with Earth or yadda yadda....
what is your availability: I can't say for certain. As of currently I work a third shift position at a retail store Fridays-Mondays (8pm--> 9am EST I won't be near a computer). However, I was just informed of a possible opening for an earlier shift as a member of management which would mean more days and different hours. So it really kind of depends from week to week. I apologize. What would you do if you make a suggestion but it didn't get accepted or implemented:RIOT! No, I'm just kidding. I'm cool with whatever. I'm fairly adaptable to changes, and able to write myself out of a corner... Anything else you think is important to share:Let's all work to make this the most awesome of rooms! Also I can do art if we're in a snag but its not the prettiest or fanciest of things. Same with graphics, as seen in some of my links above. Will you promise to uphold your duties as a crew member (co-host) to the best of your ability or let the captain or co-captain know:I solemnly swear to perform to the best of my ability and to inform my captains if I can not perform above and beyond that which is expected of me. By Placing my username where it says (answer here) I give affirm that I have filled out this application honestly and willingly: Indeed I do. Signed, iNk_mAy.
