She was getting sick of this copy that fought as well as she did and slung her magic at her. It had shocked her at first, but once she realized it was possible she had to stay up close and personal to avoid it. Sure even at close range it was possible use her magic, but it was exceedingly hard if the other couldn't sing. So as tiring as it was, whenever she encountered her shade she found herself more often than not, a lot closer than she would like to be.
The currently moment was one of those times, her shade was literally on top of her a fists full of red curls ready to slam Maia's head into the ground, as Maia struggled to get the double off of her, pushing at it and throwing punches into the shades stomach. However, with Maia at a disadvantage the thing seemed completely unphased by the blows.
"Get off of me," Maia shouted wishing Chaonis would show up. He was rather famous for showing up right when he was needed. She had no idea he had a broken leg, therefore, making her wish very unlikely to come true.
"Shut," said the clone, not fully getting the words out, but Maia understood. "I do as the queen wishes," it spouted, making Maia feel slightly frantic.

As many warnings as he was given, there were just some obligations that forced him to be out at night. Oh, geesh, he could just see Lily's lovely face, her nose all scrunched up as she scolded him about going out in the dark. But there were papers to grade and classes to take and just a hellava lot of things to do! There was no time to simply make sure he was 'indoors' at night time. And atleast this time he was slightly more prepared to deal with the whole Powered people thing.
And just how lucky was he when it came to seeing two girls fighting. Atleast this time there was no hair left to burn off. Not all of them could have fire, too, right? Ulane did not hesitate when the two girls came into his view, dropping his bag and racing over to them. It was the same as the last time, with those wings spouting out from their tailbones. The brighter colored one, the one pinned to the ground must have been the 'good one', right? Seemed a bit off to be thinking such things, but hey, that's how it worked apparently.
The man went in bravely, slipping his arms under the girl's, and using his leverage to pry her off the one below, using no sense of gentleness when it came to the thing. It was an evil clone, right? It didn't belong here in the first place.
"I'm not a powered person, so I give you.. Six seconds before she breaks free!" He called out to the girl on the ground. The was a stupid idea, yes, but there was no way he was just going to let someone get pummeled on!

Maia was relieved of the weight on top of her and quickly scrambled to her feet, but she faltered at the voice of her savior. She knew that voice and she had already warned him not to be out running about late at night because people got into trouble, this kind of trouble when they were.
"Thank you," she stuttered slightly, "but you should get out of here. I can take care of her."
The clones was less than pleased to be pried of her target and while Ulane wasn't a priority, getting away from certainly was. She pulled her arm forward and pulled back attempting to get the other to let go by jamming her elbow into his side.
Maia quickly went to grab the other's arm and pull her away from her friend, hoping Ulane would let go and turn tail and run. She did however have a feeling that wasn't likely to happen.

Surprisingly, Ulane managed to keep a firm grasp on the cloned girl. That is, up until the point where a sharp elbow met with his side, and he could not help but loosen his grip. ouch did it hurt! It seemed liked the shadow knew exactly where to aim, getting him right between the ribs. But he wouldn't relent! Not when there was another there who seemed to be struggling as well!
His grip regained itself by moving his arm up to grab the shadow in a way that could be considered a choke hold, and as much as he could, he eked out a response to the colored one who seemed to be trying to grab the shadow away from him.
"HEY HEY! Don't take her away! Just find a way to disperse her! I can hold onto her! "

Maia was suprised that Ulane was able to hold onto the clone, but she was stronger and she knew, so she tugged again, although the clone struggled against her hold of out of instinct.
Still the clone wanted to kill Maia and thus needed to escape Ulane. She came forward and tossed her head back to headbutt Ulane in hopes of getting him to let go. With Maia grip on her arm and the sort of tug of war going on it probably wouldnt be the most successful endeavor.
"Let go, Ulane," Maia spouted as the clone head came back toward her friend. "Please I dont want you to get hurt."

"Wait, wait wait, What?" How the heck did this lovely lady know his name? It's not like he had met her before! It's not like he could recognize the woman under that uniform. Her outburst of his name allowed for the shadow to successfully head but him, and he could feel his nose crack. Not break, just a weird cracking sound, followed by an unpleasant amount of blood. However, his grip only became tighter around the shadow. It was like trying to hold onto a raging bull, and he would not be able to hold out for much longer.
"Too late, I'm hurt, just kill this thing!"

It was very odd to see how determined Ulane was to help her. The blood made her release the clone quickly, she hadn't wanted her friend to get hurt, but her hesitance had done just that and now ... now the clone was struggling to it's feet with Ulane to holding tight.
She frowned and stepped back before Ulane's voice brought her out of her daze. She nodded, "I'm going to attack, when you see the music notes start coming at you two let her go and jump out of the way. Don't let them touch you." Her words were very rushed, if he even understood her remained to be seen, as she prepared to attack.
"Absolute Harmony," she called out letting the music fill her and singing out the beautiful notes as only she could, before the opaque notes popped into existence and starting forming their whirling multicolored tornado and Maia released them, allowing them to speed forward toward their target and anything in the way.
"Move," she shouted at Ulane.

Ulane was neither blind nor deaf to the girl's pleads, so once she instructed him, he payed close attention to her, trying to make sure he saw her signal occur. The clone in his arms, struggled against him harder, as if she knew what was going to happen, and she snarled, twisting and turning in an attempt to get the man to leg to.
Luckily enough, only mere seconds had passed until the woman before him called out her attack, and with a kick to the clone's back, he bounded away from the onslaught of musical notes and tornadoes. With his back towards them both for just that moment, he tried to clean his face up, the blood that had splattered on his face made it seem as if he were more severely injured than what was known to have been true. The problem he was facing was that the blood was stinging his eyes, making it difficult to open them at all. He couldn't ask the girl for help not when he had no idea of the threat was even gone or not, so he sat there, gripping at the bottom of his coat, trying to get the blood off of his face as cleanly as possible.

Maia was shocked by Ulane who held his ground and seemed determined to help her. It made her really grateful even if dragging another friend into this was the last thing she wanted. She called him by name, something she shouldn't have done. He didn't know her like this, he was going to want an explanation.
The kick to the shades back sent the other careening right into Maia's notes and no matter if the clone knew or not to avoid them, it was impossible. She watched as the shade slowed down barely able to move, feeling heavy, tired and clearly unfocused. She walked around the thing knowing that it would be incapacitated for a few minutes and more concerned about Ulane.
She headed over to him walking around him and looking shocked at the red mess on his hands, clothes and still on his face. "We need to get you out of here, we only have a few minutes before that thing, whatever it is, is fully on angry killer mode again."
She offered the green bow from her skirt for him to finish wiping of his face. "Come one I can deal with her later," she said grabbing hold of his wrist and pulling to indicate they should leave. She didn't really want to dust it in front of Ulane and she wasn't sure it would be the same as a youma. If she was honest, she was worried what would happen, even if she was.

There was no way Ulane could be useful, not when he couldn't see, not when his eyes stung so badly that they couldn't open. So he waited, far shorter a time than he thought he would have. She was close to him, speaking, and handing him something soft to clean his face with.
"Thank you." He cleaned his eyes, looking up to her once they could open again, and he seemed a bit confused by her. Yes, he had met a senshi before, yes, it was someone he didn't know, but with her, Ulane felt as if he knew her. Someone with such lovely eyes, he could have never forgotten someone as vibrant as her. Yet he couldn't place her, not could he think of a name. But she certainly knew his.
"Why not deal with her now? She's incapacitated! You could hit her with something and send her away. That one senshi, Pomona, she did so, you can too, right? I can help!" Yes, he wanted to ask her about how she knew his name, but that thing, could hurt other people if just left alone. He couldn't just let that shadow stay. He stood up finally, trying to see if he could find anything he could to try and destroy the thing.
"Do you have any other attacks? Something we can use to banish that thing?"

Maia was shocked, she certainly wasn't use to any civilian being so proactive and not wanting to leave. Wanting her to finish the job. Wait did he just say Pomona sent hers away? Maybe it was like a youma.
"I don't have another attack that will banish her, my magic is defensive. I needs something to finish her off with, but I was far more concerned with getting you out of here." Maia could see the clones starting to move slowly her magic was starting to wear off.
She position herself to thrown more magic at it the moment her little effect wore off. To Ulane she said quickly in a rushed manner, "Find me something heavy, a branch, a brick. I don't know something to hit her with."
She toyed with the idea of driving her heel through it, but she was essentially staring at a version of herself and she wasn't sure how successful the endeavor would be.
