[backdated to shortly after this RP]Getting Ruan settled in felt like ages ago; Remarque wasn't typically accustomed to helping new members settle in but—then again—it wasn't like the Dark Mirror Court was drowning in new members. He had meant to help her get settled into the Court, but letting her get settled into her new life was more of a priority; it had been a week since he'd last been at the place and now seemed like a good time to drop in.
He had powered up at his place and mirrorwalked over; there wasn't much use driving since he had just intended to whisk her away to Mirrorspace, anyway. Plus, he'd put all that effort into obtaining the full length mirror and carting it around until she'd picked out a good spot for it—he was going to make damn good use of it.
Stepping out, he seemed equally preoccupied with brushing down his outfit as he was at locating Ruan—or whoever Ruan was now. He gave a few sweeps to remove any wrinkles and then lifted his eyes, intending to glance around the room and see just what she had done to the place in his absence.

Qiuyue, as what Ruan Ruan was known as now, had picked this apartment since it was situated at close proximity to Destiny City University where she would be starting classes come Fall. True to his words, the funds that Remarque managed to secure for her to get her settled into her new life and identity was a comfortably sizeable amount that ought to last her a good while but even then, she knew that there would come a day when she would have to rely on her own means to sustain herself instead of continuing to rely on the Dark Mirror court that was her new family.
She was peeling an apple in the kitchen when Remarque decided to make an appearance through the mirror that was located in the living room. Or rather, what seemed to be a living room beneath the mess of clothes, papers, books, boxes and plastic wrappers that now occupied every liveable space. Dressed in only a sleepshirt with her hair tied up in a messy ponytail, she exited the kitchen with her apple in hand, stopping to blink a few times when she realized that she had a visitor in the form of the Eternal Dark Mirror Senshi who now stood in her living room.
"Remarque!" She smiled wide, pausing briefly to take a bite from her apple. "Why this's a pleasant surprise. Is there something that I can help you with?"

Remarque's eyes immediately drifted across the mess, and it was obvious by his expression that he had not been expecting clutter. His room was spotless, so he quirked an eye and raised a brow at the girl before huffing at her appearance. "Straighten up, for starters. Though, I suppose it's good news to see that you've settled in so nicely. Are you planning on walking around in your pajamas all day, or would you like to get dressed and come with me to Mirrorspace? I figured if you didn't have plans, I could borrow you for a bit, we could get a little training done. If you're busy," he shrugged; he didn't expect her to have anything better to do, but only because the Dark Mirror offered so much to do. "We can reschedule and I'll settle for just a quick check up, to see if you need anything or if you're having any trouble with anything I might be able to help with."

Judging by Remarque's expression, the Eternal Dark Mirror Senshi whom Qiuyue owed almost everything she had now to looked crossed though she was absolutely clueless as to what had brought that on. Was it the way she had casually addressed him? How she was currently dressed? The state of the apartment perhaps?
"I'm available. Just give me a moment."
She wasn't about to quibble with him in any case. Especially given the fact that he was her benefactor all in all so she settled for a meek reply, exiting the room quickly to save the bitten apple in the refrigerator for later before making herself more presentable and then reappearing in the living room powered up as Elnath. "I'm done. Sorry to keep you waiting Remarque."

Remarque waved his hand nonchalantly. "There's no need to apologize."
It was nice to have a moment to just relax; he kept himself so busy these days that it was rare for him to have the opportunity to catch his breath and just look around. He had been admiring the place, looking at the little touches meant to turn this place into more than just a dwelling--into a home.
"I'm really in no rush. I keep a busy schedule but I alotted a significant amount of time today to spend with you, if you were free."
He shifted positions and even that seemed to denote that he was more relaxed than when he first arrived.
"I know there's a lot to take in with this whole powered business, and it can be a bit daunting. I hate to overwhelm you so I thought perhaps small lessons here and there would be more beneficial than long, boring lessons. Too much to take in," he shrugged. "And I thought I might see if you have any questions, and if not we'd just take a trip through Mirrorspace. And grab burgers afterwards. Unless you're a vegetarian, in which case," he looked her over as if contemplating what he might do in such an awful, terrible event.
"....You can get a salad."
